L.Wow what a gem. This place is the perfect getaway. With rooms backing onto a lake, morning coffee was spent watching ducks. The Restaurant is fabulous, with a wonderful menu and attentive staff. Rooms were extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. Beautifully set out rooms. I will definitely visit again for longer next time. Nothing was to much trouble, excellently trained staff. Very professional with the perfect mix of personable qualities that made you feel at home and welcomed. Thank you Peppers for a fantastic break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life
D.Beautiful accommodation, really good layout with a spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen, and a semi-separate bedroom. Everything was finished to a high standard. The pool was nice.
N.Attended a function there, great location with excellent amenities including a swimming pool & tennis court. The grounds are beautiful & the cabins looked calming and peaceful, I look forward to staying there in the near future.

k.This used to be peppers parehua resort only they now have new owners. Weve been here three times now and it still has the same friendly and attentive service that keeps us coming back. Modern clean and comfortable bungalow with a great outlook. Heated pool I really appreciate and a well appointed breakfast included. Love it.
J.Had two wonderful nights and the staff were really friendly. Unfortunately due to Level Two they were unable to operate the usual breakfast buffet but the food was tasty regardless.
Only suggestion is that the TV and audio set-up in the room could be improved.
D.Had a wonderful 2 nights stay in a Garden Cottage. Everything in it was really nice quality especially the heated floor in the bathroom which was sheer bliss when you came in with cold feet to just stand there for a couple of minutes thawing. Loved watching rabbits playing together along the trees they were so cute. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and if you don't like coffee in hot pot you can order a latte, cappuccino etc freshly made but you pay extra for that. Loved our stay and we will be back
L.We had a lovely 2 night stay at Peppers. We were kindly upgraded to a lakeside room, which was spacious and peaceful. The setting is lovely and the amenities are great - I find less and less hotels offer breakfast included so it was great to get made to order hot food as well as continental selection. We also ate at the restaurant one night which was delicious (get the beef!) But the thing that made our stay extra special was the staff - they are AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and just lovely people, we have already said we want to make a stay at Peppers an annual event! 100% would recommend to anyone considering a visit.

г.We stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed the place. The cottage we got is so nice. The staff made it look very nice before we entered the cottage, fireplace was on, lights are on amd tv was on. It was very welcoming. Large bathroom and spa. Breakfast was just fine. The breakfast hall wasn’t too inviting as it needs more decoration i think. I defintely recommend the place to stay.
A.Pepper's is a wonderful get away and winery in one.
The cabins are very clean, tidy, luxurious, and perfect for that weekend.
The restaurant that's attached serves amazing food and has an amazing romantic atmosphere.
D.Cannot fault anything from mine & my partner’s stay at Peppers Parehua Martinborough. The check in service was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, private and inviting, the location was quiet and serene, the dining (breakfast and dinner) was the best I’ve ever had. A lovely place for a quiet retreat, perfect for couples or families. Will definitely come back to this special, beautiful place.
N.Secluded, quiet well appointed not layed out with extra parking for visitors, overgrown hedging restricting access and scratching car panels. Otherwise excellent location for a quiet weekend.

T.Excellent unit. Very well appointed, thoroughly enjoyed the warm bathroom floor. Had a meal at their restaurant, could not fault meal or service.
There are ear plugs in bedside cabinets which I jokingly said on exit were in case one or other partner snored, no was the reply in case the frost protector propellers were operating in nearby vineyard. We did hear them 1 night but as several units between they were not intrusive, nor did they affect our sleep.

M.We loved it.
The cottage was fantastic, very private, great view over the lake, and loved sitting on the deck drinking local wine and listening to the birds. Very peaceful.

D.Lovely place to stay for the weekend in a nice setting. Rooms are super clean with comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and lounge with a great fire place. Great breakfast with nice friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them. There is a swimming pool and tennis court. My only compliant is with badly designed bathroom. Open shower, small basin and no shelves or cupboards to put toiletries in.
D.Lovely place to stay. We had evening dinner which was very below par, a few complaints going into the kitchen that night. May have just been an off night.
J.Had a great stay here. Lovely room; very well furnished, and very comfortable. It was one of their 'secluded cottages', and was indeed very discretely placed in the grounds; very quiet too. We also had dinner that night; whilst there was some issue with the amount of time it took for the meal to arrive, this was well handled by the staff, and the food was very nice; especially the desserts. Breakfast in the morning also very good. Looking forward to another stay one day...
A.Came here off peak (middle of winter) and it was lovely! When we arrived there were lamps on for us and the heat pump was going and music was playing, lovely to walk in to a welcoming warm room. Loved the layout, coziness and cleanliness of the room. Staff were super friendly and helpful and gave perfect recommendations for local wineries etc. The Pavillion restaurant was also great, and the cocktails were very original and delicious! The waiter Brent was awesome, very attentive and helpful both for dinner and the breakfast next morning. We definitely plan to come back here!
P.We received a great service from all the wait staff. The waitress and chefs were so accommodating of my dietary requirements and were very willing to adjust their dishes to suit my needs. Definitely worth the trip over 😊
A.Second time we have come to Peppers. This time we came for a wedding weekend. Great accommodation and staff were friendly. The venue was a great place to hang out with friends. Really comfortable and enjoyed the pool and tennis court. Food was generally okay, lacked a bit of finesse and gutted the buffet breakfast doesn't exist anymore! Was one of the highlights the last time we came a few years ago. Thought the bike rental should have be included with the accommodation. Twice the price of Green Jersey cycles which is a 10 minute walk from Peppers.
N.Great place for a function
J.Accommodation was great, spa and fire place were the highlight. Bed was OK. Improvements are needed on the food front, the breakfast was pretty average and I expected more cafe style given the amount we paid. The restaurant dinner menu again was disappointing. The benchmark should be would people travel to eat here if they were a restaurant only, sadly I think they wouldn't. This region is blessed with amazing produce, there should have been a world class chief working on a great menu. Peppers has the unfortunate hallmarks of generic hotel chain, standard food and service. People want an experience when they stay, they don't want a standard breakfast or dinner.
K.Has alot of potential beautiful setting layout of room itself very nice, lovely tub but not as clean as it should be.
We were upgraded for free which we appreciate but that doesn't mean we were 100% happy.
Mould growing on windows, floors dirty and sticky hand prints on tiles in bathroom. I expect it to be sparkling clean for that price.
Breakfast buffet was pretty sparse.
The free breakfast was very average my mushrooms were cold and my husband did not like his pancakes.

Z.Absolutely awesome facilities. It may be around the higher end of price available but it was worth every cent. The cottages were awesome (where I booked ) full spa bath and stand alone showers with 5 * pressure. Equipped kitchen with lounge ANDROID separate sleeping area. The perfect place to stay if you want to get away from home. Not to mention the gas fireplace and the awesome selection of wines😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

A.Came for a girls weekend and had the most wonderful time in the secluded cottage! So peaceful, the perfect place to relax. Kitchen was well equipped, but the restaurant was also good. Staff were so wonderful!
S.Both times we've stayed here have been amazing! We usually book the garden cottage which is lovely and cosy, especially on cold nights. The cottage is really spacious andhe breakfast was delicious, we both got the pancakes and was really impressed with the menu and the continental breakfast options. It's also nice and close to the village. Definitely recommend staying here.

G.There's good reason that this place is so well reviewed, the property is beautiful, well located across the street from a vineyard, and the rooms are generously sized and private. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.
J.Had a fantastic day cycling round the various vineyards, then had the perfect place to relax at the end of it all. Could swim in the bath! Staff were lovely, although the bikes we hired could've done with a wee service and our breakfast was somewhat average...
B.The food was delicous and although it was small, it was more than adequate. Waitress was lovely and very attentive.
A little expensive but couldn't fault the food. I had the salmon but swapped out the rice the honey glazed carrots. Didn't regret that at all. Was divine. Dessert was chocolate cake and ice cream. Melt in your mouth.
P.Peppers Parehua is a perfect gem amongst the scenic vineyards of Martinborough. The rooms are insanely cozy with featured fireplace, spa bath and spacious King bed with the balcony views that are next to none! Bicycles are also available for hire which makes for a fun and practical wine tour option. My partner and I absolutely loved the experience of staying with Peppers, I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting the sweet town of Martinborough.
m.Had a small work conference here, midweek, so was quiet. Friendly professional staff where nothing was a problem. Get rooms, spa baths and gas fires. Wrong time of year for this now, but it would have been awesome sit out on the little private deck with a cold drink and enjoy a Wairarapa evening.
K.Stunning spacious and clean room. Big bed and lovely spa bath. Parking outside of the property. Table and chairs outside the sliding doors. WiFi, pool and breakfast. Bike hire available at $25 half day and $35 full day. Excellent location with only a ten minute walk into the town. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend and would definetly go back. Nice quiet location too. Great value for money.

D.This place was nice. Set back away from the main road it is a nice and quiet place to get some rest and just relax. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The onsite restaurant was a little pricey but in saying that my steak was perfectly done how I asked and it was one of the better steaks I have ever had. My wife ordered the award winning lamb and she said it was the best lamb sbe had ever eaten. The staff were friendly and made you feel real welcomed. If your in the area and you have the money to spend I would say give these guys a go. If possible ring to make a booking as you may get a better rate than using a website booking.

C.If you have an Entertainment Book you can get a great deal via the "Departure Lounge". We stayed in The Winemakers Cottage and it was gorgeous. The villa is very spacious and has everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back.

D.Lovely clean and spacious rooms, nice breakfast, lovely location, but strange little issues stop this place being great - for example:
Waited ages to check in, while lady in background organised shelves and ignored us (#notmyjob).
Bathroom is nice with large modern bath, but it is also a wet-room that gets just too wet every time you have a shower.
Bathroom has no space at all to put down your bathroom stuff. Like zero.
TV reception is very poor.
Heating in room is very limited, apart from underfloor heating in bathroom which is excellent.
D.Family wedding. All our guests treated well. Comfortable and friendly. Lovely place to stay. Awesome villas and cottages. Restaurant was sumptuous . Staff very helpful and made our stay relaxing.
