R.Stayed here with a big group. Hosts were always friendly and helpful even though our group could get quite noisy.. Rooms clean and tidy. Pool facility was great. Location handy to most things. Recommend this place highly.
A.Affordable and had all the basic necessities you need in a room. Easy wifi and the heat pump was nice. The bed was very uncomfortable and some of the facilities should be updated. There were hairs on the bedding.
E.Easy from start to finish. Got a free upgrade. Lovely big warm rooms. Fantastic water pressure in shower. Clean and kept clean daily. And fantastic people working there. And the clincher was my labrador was able to stay. Would definately stay again.

D.Nice stay, room was clean and tidy. Kids loved the pool. Some wear and tear in the rooms. Wet floor shower makes the floor tiles in the bathroom and partly out into the kitchen very slippery and is a head injury waiting to happen.
There is a spa but we weren't allowed in it as they don't allow children under 14 in there, even if we were in there too. We didn't find out out about this until we tried to book the spa as this rule is not mentioned anywhere we could see. We felt the ladies response to our enquires about the spa pool were a little standoffish.
R.Hotel suits needs. Dog friendly and really nice hosts. The room itself was a little beaten up and would expect a bit better at prices paid. Bed was great, and really good shower, room just needed the little things fixed up to make you feel like you are getting value for money
K.Best price option for us. Helpful staff. Nice having a swimming pool to cool off in on the hot days. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. I would still recommend.

Owner was a dog lover and our dog was more than welcome.

J.Excellent service. Fair prices. Not 5 star facilities. Not 5 star prices. If you are a regular you get some extra special treatment. I wanted to give 4.5 stars but it wouldn't let me. The rear suites are nice and quiet and sit far back from the road.

The new(ish) owners were super friendly and very helpful with anything we needed.
Room was clean and cute in a retro way- pool very clean too. Plus the rates were very reasonable.

L.On check in we had a little problem in our room. But the staff where very accommodating and moved us rooms. Beds are nice and comfy. Affordable place to stay if your not fussy. Easy to find, supermarket and restaurants near by. The owners are lovely people.

P.Friendly reception and cleaning staff but the 'apartment' itself was very tired and in need of refurbishing. It was, however, clean and did have a great heater. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment but arrived to find that the main bedroom was part of the living area, with only a folding door to separate it - and that door was so tricky and noisy to close that we woke everyone else up when we tried. We were traveling with my 89 yo mother and found the fact that the door on the toilet had been taken off, quite inconvenient. (The toilet was separate to, but accessed from, the bathroom.) Poor lighting in the kitchen. Short walk to the supermarket and handy to town, so definitely located conveniently.
M.My partner and I was just looking for a cheap place to stay for the night, and what I paid for was worth it. The place is quite roomy and very comfortable. I was impressed with how clean and tidy the place was and how close it was to town. Would stay there again!

b.A very handy motel to local restaurants if you need to walk to and from like us. Rooms were roomy clean but older but great value. The in room breakfast is huge and good value for the hungry.

M.11 out of 10 this motel has it all,set in beutifull surroundings,and owned & operated by a awesum couple who catered to all our needs while we stayed with them for almost 2 weeks, i would like to highly reccomend this motel,i travel alott for my job up & down our country, this has been my best motel experience yet

s.Older and a bit tired, but spacious and quiet. Close to town. Masterton is expensive accommodation-wise, so this was the cheaper option.
