L.We spent 4 nights at Hunters Moon and it proved a perfect place for a break away. It was spotlessly clean, a fabulous shower and a very comfy bed. It was quiet and the outlook beautiful. Thank you John for being such a welcoming host.
S.Probably the best farm-stay ever. The facilities are top-level. The service is exceptional. John is an amazing host, friendly and caring.
Also, the view is beautiful, and I really enjoyed the drive from the city centre to the farm.
Will recommend to anyone who is visiting Dunedin.
S.It was a very lovely staycation with my family. We’ve spent three days two nights there, and it’s clean and comfy as everything needed was provided. There’s also some alpaca and sheep by the stay. (You get to join the free feeding sess in the morning as well) I will definitely come back for this whenever I next visit Dunedin. Thank you so much John!

G.A wonderful stay just outside Dunedin at Wingatui. Quiet location with great hosts and a very comfortable room. While described as a farm stay, it's more of a lifestyle block than a farm.
I would happily stay here again.
k.Absolutely loved it... John was just so lovely and down to earth The room was very warm and clean.. we really enjoyed our visit there and will definitely go back... Hunters moon is perfect for a nice quiet break.. the alpacas are tiny wee bit noisy LoL but it was enjoyable.. I will definitely go back and I recommend to everyone. Xx
S.This place was so amazing. After the Elton John concert we had to stay an extra night in Dunedin due to road closures. This was one of the last places available in Mosgiel and boy did we luck out. Beautifully quiet and serene setting. Host was great. Met a newly married couple who were from Estonia and honeymooning here in NZ. . Highly recommend this place

Our late check in was made very easy and stress free. The place was easy to find and is about half way between the airport and Dunedin in a beautiful spot.
The room itself was very nice and cozy, exactly what a jetlagged couple needs. It's a great value for the money and we loved it so much that we stayed an extra night.
They've got alpacas and sheep pretty much in front of the house where you could feed them in the morning.
Our host was a lovely lady and very welcoming :)
J.Stunning place to stay. Outlook would have been lovely but for rain and fog!! Very nice units. Use of kitchen for buffet or cooked breakfast. Farm animals at the fence cool. Highly recommend this b&b. Host very obliging.
F.John and Barbara are awesome and very hospitable. You will definitely have a fun time feeding the animals. Rooms and bed are clean and comfy. We had a wonderful time in Hunters Moon and highly recommends it to anyone who is looking for a laid back and relaxing holiday! It's definitely a 11/10 rating from my end!
D.Excellent place to stay, not over complicated, just neat & tidy, very friendly host but you get your privacy and it's very quiet, nice comfortable bed too, lovely views and a well built fence to lean on with a beverage or to make a call etc, good quick internet also,, recommend to all.

徐.Spent two nights with John who is so friendly and share anything with us. Walk behind the sheeps is great fun, when you wake up every morning Alpaca is standing outside eating grass. Nice location, less than 20 minutes drive to Dunedin.We are so glad to choose here rather in Dunedin city :) Oh BTW, breakfast is great and room is super clean.
A.Hunters moon was a delightful home to stay, the host was fantastic and very welcoming to all guest.
The communication was great as was the quality of the residence & breakfast was also excellent a large & varied selection.
We can only say it’s tranquil and homely if we are in Dunedin again we shall be calling Hunters Moon to book a return stay.

j.Incredible setting, wonderful hosts, and very clean and quiet. I do suggest that you have your own transportation as public trans stops a few miles away.
D.Barbara is a charming host. She has a magical farm in a blooming garden. She has let us feel at home. The room is cosy. The breakfast superb. Its not too far from Dunedin - perfect location.
