D.Great location to be in for getting into the Mount action, walk to the Mount, Beach, Pilot Bay, shops,eateries.
Friendly staff at the anchorage. Great to have underground parking.
Nice to stay in a bit of luxury. Very comfortable beds, good layout, nice to have a balcony, sky, complex gym, pool etc.
Our particular apartment had no air-conditioning which is a significant minus in summer. Also alot of street noise especially since we had to leave open balcony doors and windows for ventilation.
Mt Maunganui is a great destination. We were surprised by a regular number of anti social youths/people who were regularly wandering the streets at all hours.
Generally a good area though.
K.Location was good, short walk to waterfront and walking track. The apartment was very roomy and had everything we needed. Nice touch being able to exit straight onto street..
B.One of the bedrooms was very close to street and very visible.
D.A fuse must've blown as some lights and power points didn't work. Also we were only given one toilet roll for the whole weekend..
A.Very disappointed. Was looking forward to a night out with my partner. The room smelt like strong cleaning products and was musty. Feels run down. No aircon. The pots under the sink had dried food stuck to the bottom of them. The shampoo and conditioner bottle was half full/already been used. We had a room by the pool, but the seats were situated right outside our living space up against the windows where other guests were so there was no privacy. Everyone could see in. We had to just shut the curtains.
Although service was super friendly and lovely while we were there, an hour after check out we realised we had left a charger in the room and rung up to come back and get it (I am an exclusively pumping mother of a 3 month old, so that charger was a one of a kind that I desperately needed). He said they had it so we went back but turns out they didn't and the room had already been occupied. Later on he rung back to say a cleaning lady had found it but had accidentally taken it home and we wouldn't be able to retrieve it until the next morning. When we came back the next morning to get it he unremorsfully said sorry and shrugged saying "but you know". Basically insinuated that it was our own fault.
We were mucked around, was made pretty clear they didn't care about the situation and disregarded any sort of implications. The cleanliness was poor. After only an hour after checkout it took all day for them to find the charger and not be able to retrieve it until the next day because a staff member TOOK IT HOME, safe to say the service went downhill pretty fast.
Would not reccomend.
G.Amazing view of Mount Maunganui from the apartment. Clean and tidy. Reception guy was the highlight of our stay. Aircon and sky inclusion was the best. Although the weather was chilly, the staff catered to our needs also the apartment was equipped with everything we needed to keep warm and comfortable. Definitely will come here again.
W.Have stayed here a couple of times. Units are clean and tidy. Thry have a good little kitchen and fridge freezers. Reasonable priced. Great location close to the beach and close to center of town. There is also a pool and small gym with a sauna. There is also underground parking. The managers are very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.
g.My fave place to stay at the Mount. The accommodation is nice, the location is great (being close to the shops, the harbour and 8 mins to the beach) but what keeps us coming back is the great service.
T.A day at the races, and won best hat award, celebrated in the Mt and able to walk back to our apartment. Comfy, warm, good security, great location, friendly staff. Finding the right lift to our room was a little confusing lol

Stayed at the Anchorage 2 days ago… What a great place to stay, spotless throughout. Very, Very, Very friendly on arrival, ( stopped here about three years back, only just managed to get back here, still so friendly )Fantastic room…………. Greg is such a positive man when you chat to him, whistling and joking… Great……will be stopping again soon
M.Gorgeous apartments with a laid-back but convenient position to the main street without the noise. Easy walking distance to anywhere in the Mount area. Beautifully appointed rooms with new carpet, beds, dish drawer, quiet but effective air con and double glazing. My new favourite place to stay!

j.LOVE the Anchorage Apartments. Apartments are spacious & have EVERYTHING you'd need whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or plan on staying long term. They have a beautiful pool that is perfect & is also heated at night. The staff are so bubbly and helpful & know how to make you feel at home. Stayed here twice beem amazing both times & will deffs look at staying again.

K.First time staying at this place and I am not disappointed. Walking distance to the town centre and the beach. Cosy studio apartment, clean and stylish. Very warm room for a cold day outside.
A.Clean, well kept apartments in a great, central location a few minutes walk to the mount
A couple of little things detracted from its self described 'luxury' status for me such as the spa in the gym being full of plaster board/debris and the paving slabs around the pool all being loose but otherwise I'd recommend
Be aware that not all apartments have a view of the mount and paying more for a higher floor might not be worth it!
We paid an extra $25 per night for a 3rd floor apartment (the 4th floor is an extra $70 per night!) expecting a better view of the mount only to find we were on the north side so had basically paid extra for an elevated view of the apartments across the road! Suggest you call the hotel before booking to double check
N.Great location. Our unit wasn't that clean. Old bed needs replacing. Pleasant reception person unless there is a problem. I wouldn't stay here again.
T.We booked hotel for weekend stay. Tidy, friendly staff could not fault anything.

m.Große geräumige Apartments mit allen was man braucht. Frühstück muss man selber in die Hand nehmen, aber eine kleine Bäckerei ist 2 Strassen weiter - 3 Minuten zu Fuß..
