M.Enjoyed our stay here, however we stayed on the lower level close to the road. The slamming of car doors late at night & early in the morning did hinder our sleep, The heater was so loud we couldn't hear the tv. But Aside from that The room was clean & tidy & Had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were excellent & helpful. We will definitely return but maybe book a room on the 2nd level away from the carpark & road..
J.Absolutely great place to stay in so clean and warm . Shower was just great to ease the days stress and the welcome in was fantastic from the owners . Must say this stay was top in my book close to the beach for a walk and door delivery for my order from Dixie Browns . Beautiful tasty food but needs a little more rice in the meal but top taste .

We stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. Large, quiet, well appointed unit with a big comfortable bed and seating. Large screen TV and the lovely cool pool was a bonus on a hot day. Short walk to beach. Takeaways and convenient store across the road.

T.Room was tidy, clean and spacious. Very nice. Also very quiet and slept well. Stayed in disabled room due to leg injury. I was able to move around the room easily. Close to main shopping centre and not far from beach. Check in and check out seamless. Communication timely at time of booking. Would definitely stay here again.

F.One of the nicest motels I have ever been too. The lady at reception was so kind and friendly to my children, welcoming us into the complex and showing us around the room. She was kind and funny when my kids asked about the wifi, giving me a wink if the kids were allowed it (as I was trying to have no devices). We had a lovely time in the pool, nice and warm, and comfortable loungers. The motel was really close to the shopping mall and the beach. I am trying to plan my next trip so will see you soon

T.Great accomodation and nice pool. Bedroom can get very warm as it is upstairs on mezzanine floor without air conditioning. Ceiling fan was on a single slow speed so was rather ineffective. However still a great place to stay. Nice pool.
M.We were from Auckland and stayed two nights. Lovely facilities and friendly staff members. The onlg downfall of our experience was the Hot pools closed too early so we did not get to experience it. And returning one evening after dinner to find a large cockroach running on the floor of the kitchen. Other than that everything else was good

M.The bed is comfy but could do with better pillows. Has Sky and decent wifi. Big rooms but odd layout with the bathroom/lounge/kitchen on ground level and the bed on a mezzanine - would be awkward if you struggle with stairs. Has parking in front of rooms.

Facilities are all top notch. 5 stars here alone. Room was fantastic. Clean and tidy, modern and warm.
Special mention to the wonderful cleaning staff who not only did a great job but were happy to provide us with extra linen when asked.
Motel is close to a major mall, stadium and other places of interest in Tauranga and is easy to find and access.
Parking is restricted to 1 vehicle per unit inside the motel. This is outlined upon check in and there are various signs about the carpark that highlight this.
If all patrons adhered to this rule there would be ample parking within the confines of the motel for each unit.
Unfortunately while we were out to dinner someone took it upon themselves to park right outside our unit which meant we had to park on the road upon returning.
Luckily there is plenty of on road parking.
The car park was full and it was clear that there was more than 1 vehicle per unit, as there were also other vehicles parked on the road.
I'd suggest allocating parking zones to each unit (as there is a clear space outside each for vehicles to park), that way people might be less inclined to occupy your units' space. Perhaps a parking permit to display indicating your room number and identifying your parking space.
Other than that everything else was excellent.
C.The Bay Palm Motel is suitable accommodation for your everyday traveller. My first big hate about the motel is the wi-fi. Only booked into this motel because it had wi-fi however when we got there the wi-fi was terrible and only worked at around 1am. So to say that they had wi-fi is not really true because most of the day we could not access it. The accommodation itself was fine. The rooms were clean and tidy. The upstairs room which was supposedly a super king was just 2 singles pushed together meaning that you just fell through the gap in the middle and pushed the beds apart. Only having one key was not very useful. The shower could do with a new head. It was also quite low for taller people. The interactions with staff were friendly and they were quite helpful. The motel didn't smell of smoke which was quite nice. Good accommodation however only 3 stars.
T.Tidy, clean, nice and quiet. Water pressure in the shower is awesome.
A.Nice and cosy rooms, tidy setup. Late night check ins if neccessary, rooms are reasonably priced. Big plus is the new Bayfair shopping center is just down the road, which has everything convenience you will need. Also a couple of stores located across the road for a meal or purchasing small items.

t.Stayed here for 2 nights in room 10 and it did not disappoint at all!! The one room unit itself was so homely, and we’ll Maintained. It had all the kitchen utensils and toiletries, The 2 beds were really cosy and restful, we had the pool to ourselves which was even better as my daughter loves to swim. Unfortunately we only had booked for 2 night which wasn’t long enough, next time I’d be sure to book for a longer stay☺️
