M.Amazing stay! Very clean, great shared spaces, super organised and lovely friendly staff. We stayed in the Family Room with our 2 boys and the air con at the end of a hot day at the beach was fantastic! Will definitely be staying again.

X.For a single mum travelling with my 10 year old son we both enjoyed staying at seagull guesthouse it was safe very clean an quite we will differently stay here again an will recommend to other travellers.
A.Clean, well organized, equipped kitchen, comfy beds, cosy lounge, shelfs with books and board games, etc.
It's not far from the beach and the mount.
Few bars and restaurants on the corner and McDonald's as well.
L.Nice place, plenty of space around the place AND extremely clean. Good pricing. Some rooms have their own toilet and bathroom but the others have access to shared bathrooms and toilets. No TV in either roon we got but again, the price for the rooms is reflected in that. Would highly recommend for anyone to use this place. I'll definitely be coming back at another time!

S.Wonderful place! We just stayed one night on our way to the airport. This place is spacious, sparkling clean, big kitchen, awesome showers /washrooms and nice staff. We had a very nice twin beds private bedroom with a sink. Worth every single dollar you pay for it - we totally recommend it!
J.Very clean, tidy and quiet. Bedrooms have great heaters for cold nights. Definitely coming back for a 3rd stay soon. Owners are nice. Very good prices. Lovely lounge and common areas to kick back and relax after a short walk to the main street.
J.I Stayed hear just one night and loved it. The house is welcoming and very clean and well presented, the bedrooms are a good size and are clean with fresh linen on the beds. The showers are amazing with great water pressure.
It is nice and quiet and in a residential setting.
The owners are really nice and live on site. I could fault this place at all even the price was very reasonable.
Will definitely stay hear again on my next visit.

M.Very comfortable and clean, away from main street so quiet. Large shared kitchen, dining and lounge, Only down is no drawers/closet for clothes. Nice walk to the Mount and beach.
M.Very lovely owners, the rooms were please t and suited our needs perfectly. Only thing I would have to say is aircon in the rooms would be nice, but it was exceptionally hot during my stay here so that probably didn't help! Staff offered me a map of the area upon arrival and gave a tour of the premises. Nice walk to the beach, coffee and other cafes within a couple hundred metres. Great place to stay
c.Awesome place to stay. Paul was super helpful and friendly. The place was immaculate with a nice big kitchen. Mostly private rooms, but they do have one small dorm room if you're lucky and it's not already booked up. One of my fave places I've stayed in NZ.
S.One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed! Lovey friendly staff and fantastic showers and comfortable beds, very warm and cosy on all levels and did I mention it was extremely clean?! Not the most ‘instagramable’ place, but hands down the best backpackers I’ve stayed in, thanks Seagulls!

S.Would recommend to anyone. It is very clean, the hosts are nice and will help you if you need anything. The place is for anyone who loves a calm hostel. I honestly cannot find anything to complain about. All in all, 10/10 I would stay here again if I happen to visit Tauranga again.
P.Nice guest house in Mt Maunganui. Very good and helpful hosts. The room sizes are okay. Very clean rooms, toilets and linens. Also it is quite and good for families. That may be one off but the shower was giving hot and sometimes passing cold water during my shower.
Overall experience is very good.

J.Very handy location. Rooms were a bit small, but very clean, warm & quiet. There's a nice TV room & lounge, didn't check out the kitchen. Plenty of on street parking.

I.Andrew was a wonderful host - extremely helpful with local information, friendly and professional. This would have to be one of the cleanest and most efficiently run guest houses we've ever stayed in. I hope the owners appreciate their manager, he's worth his weight in gold. Happily recommend and will be staying every time we come to the Mount.
C.Very nice place to stay. Ideal for sports teams. Across the road from a big park which was ideal. Plenty of parking on the street so long as there wasn't an event on. The wi-fi worked very well. Good kitchen facilities. Definitely recommend it to you if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Tauranga.

K.Small double bed ensuite bedroom (comfy bed) where opening the bathroom (shower/toilet) door was just partially possible (bed in the way).
Nice small common outside area in back with winter garden glass (2 seats - arvo sun) and bigger street side outside area. Big comfy lounge with lits of seating, good amount kitchen seating/tables. Clean. Thought, for $90 less of back packer feel would have been nice. All rooms looked pretty small and kitchen had food storage private boxes, which gave back packer feel, especially, as one was spread across floor in the morning while the box owner had breakfast. But that very box owner also shared her fresh milk, as there was non left in the small jug for guests.
Clean room, smelled quite freshly done up.

A.Relaxed atmosphere, however not very central. 10 minute walk to nearest grocery or 15 minute walk to down town shops. Free Wi-Fi was excellent. Good sized kitchen and dining area.

C.Stayed here for a week end of 2021, absolutely loved it. Very peaceful, very calm environment and great facilities. Large open shared kitchen with everything you'd need to make meals. Large shared lounge room and dining area. Lots of outdoor seating. Stones throw from The Mount. Highly recommended.

Un lugar muy cómodo y céntrico cerca del monte. Las habitaciones no son ruidosas, y están muy limpias como los baños compartidos y la cocina. Tiene servicio de lavandería por 1/2$. También cuenta con una sala de estar con TV, wifi gratuito,... Un lugar cómodo para pasar unos días en el especial pueblo de Mount Maunganui y poder descansar tranquilamente. 100% recomendado!
