D.Best I’ve seen the lodge looking in 3 decades interior and exterior. Highly functional, specifically for the low price. Wife and I were very pleased, comfortable sleep (vital). Owners are friendly, laid back, and highly professional. Frequent motal stayers,in our opinion admirals motor inn is clearing worth the high 5 rating we have expressed in our review.

S.Absolutely fantastic stay, awesome hosts, friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded for free. Room was immaculately clean, very impressed by the mattress protectors and the mattress was inside a beautiful protective bag. Highly recommend we will definitely be staying there again when we visit Nelson

L.Great place to stay in Nelson, with the location being perfect with everything around you. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed when we arrived and left. Came with 12GB of wifi which was useful too.
Only downside is there might not be enough parks within the complex, but there are plenty of street parks. Would come back again if coming through Nelson.

S.The staff are incredible, Richard was so friendly and informative. It shows a great management team when the staff are this good!! The place was clean and product very well maintained. There was a little bit of street noise with the room facing the street, but we were prewarned and wasn’t an issue. Great location close to town, but would recommend in a heartbeat!! Can’t wait to come back! 😌

J.Admirals is GREAT value for your stay, our room is basic studio but has a sml kitchen and dressing room. On the roadside so if your noise sensitive don't stay budget room. But if you want excellent service and value this is the place. Owners extremely helpful. 😁

k.Room was clean and the manager was absolutely lovely. Me and my Daughter had only meant to come up to Nelson for the day and drive back down to Chch, We'd left our cards at home and only had cash-The night manager was very accommodating (He could probably see the stress on my face lol) Im a super light sleeper & slept on the quiet side & even though I could hear the cars I got to sleep, The noise wouldn't bother most. Thanks again, We got our lizard okay too🦎😀
S.We had a wonderful time! Firstly, the man at check in was super enthusiastic and welcoming. Showed us to our room and explained about a draft that might come through later if the wind picked up - we had no troubles with that. Second, the facilities were tidy, a little outdated maybe but hey, was homely and warm and close to town for a great price. Would stay here again for sure.

J.Comfortable bed. Limited kitchen facilities. Lots of road noise. Would have liked to have been offered a ground level unit as there were some available.
C.Nice place to stay at for an overnight work stay. The although the room was small the bed was ample size to provide a much needed good sleep for the next day. Good amenities provided too as only the minimum could be taken with me.
D.Hi we stayed at the Admirals Motor Inn the weekend of the 7th & 8th October 2017. Nelsons weather was awful but our accommodation was amazing. When we arrived we were greeted by the Host and Hostess Richard & Lisa and made to feel very welcome. Nothing was a problem and they were extremely helpful. The heating was on in our room so it was lovely and warm. The service and facilities were of a very high standard , A very enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Nelson..
M.Don't be fooled by the simple exterior architecture, this place is fantastic with rooms refurbished to a very high standard, some of the rooms let onto a park, giving a lovely aspect. Luxurious feeling fittings and furnishings. All in all well worth staying here.
R.Nice room, friendly staff! Let us store our bags for the day while we toured Nelson after checking out. Helped us get a cab to the airport as well! A ten-fifteen minute walk to the center of Nelson, nice open field next door so the view was not another building.
