W.We have two bedroom room with one big bathroom. One bedroom has double bed and the other has one double bed and one single bed. The whole room feels quite spacious. The room is clean and tidy but not modern which is fine to us. The owners/managers are very nice. They even provide us a high chair for my youngest during our stay. The beach with a big playground is just 8 minutes walk with younger kids, but it actually takes 3 minutes. Great place to stay if you are traveling with kids.

J.This will be a 5 star hotel when they upgrade their bathrooms once covid deliveries etc is sorted. Great location near the restaurants and beach at Tahuna. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice pool and outdoor seating outside your room. Gave us a great deal as we stayed 6 nights. Will definitely stay there again

A.This is our 3rd stay at Apex and we highly recommend it. The hotel is currently being refurbished. We have stayed in both new and old rooms and while the new rooms are great, the older rooms are still ok and are very clean! Tony and Ru are wonderful hosts, welcoming and friendly. There is lovely touches like fresh milk and a descent coffee machine. It’s a short walk to the beach and big playground and there’s a good pizza shop just down the road.
S.Mr T & Ru are running this very clean & tidy Motor Lodge. They are super approachable, funny & accommodating. Location great, good parking & friendly staff. Good size rooms with a generous bathroom. Swimming pool with salt water is clean & refreshing. Recently, we had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights & will definitely be revisiting! :)
A.We had 1 of the refurbished units. Clean, comfortable and new beds. There is a swimming pool and BBQ. Close to Tahunanui beach. Tony & Ru are friendly hosts. We'll stay here again. Highly recommended.

W.Stayed a night at this Motel towards the end of July 2018. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely warm unit and handy to everything. Liked the long bench space in the bathroom. (More modern bathrooms don't have that space). Very quiet and would recommend this Motel to anyone.

J.Incredibly friendly staff! After having car trouble leaving my mum stranded in Nelson (from Blenheim en-route to the airport) they were conveniently nearby - they helped us move the vehicle to a mechanic on the same road, kindly gave my partner and I a ride to the airport in time to catch our flight and my mum and brother had a wonderful and comfortable stay! Thank you for being so helpful in what could have been a much more stressful situation! :)
P.Very warm and friendly hosts. Trish and I would highly recommend this pet friendly motel. Close to everything we wanted. Beds are very very comfortable. Charlie our wee dog loved it also. We will come back here. Thank you
h.Spent a couple of nights there while visiting Nelson. Handy location to restaurants, bars, fast food and beach. Nice tidy and clean units with all you need for a quick stay at a great price. Highly recommended.
K.I found this place perfect for our purpose. Great location, bus stop is right outside, staff are friendly and happy to help and the beach is a very short stroll away. Free wifi, 6 sky channels + freeview. The only downsides I found was there was no aircon/fan in the room and the element was confusing - it turns anti clockwise!
D.It's in a good location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as a service station and bottle store.
The rooms themselves are comfortable enough but in need of a freshen up as the place is showing signs of age. I also found parking an issue as they don't have enough and what they do have feels cramped.

G.The motel was very warm and quiet and immaculately clean with all those extra little touches. The motel owners are very friendly and very helpful and the location of Apex Motor Lodge is fantastic, just a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful Tahunanui Beach and a couple of minutes walk to eating places. We would definately stay here again and will be highly recommending Apex Motor Lodge .

C.Wonderful place . Close to everything e.g beach , restaurants , tahuna . We stay here everytime we come to Nelson. The rooms have everything we need , spacious , lovely and clean . Quiet . The beds are very comfortable . And we lived in the swimming pool . The office man couldn't do enough for us , Thank you for having us and can't wait to stay again . From Christie and her boys .
