S.Totally great stay. We stayed for four nights. The staff are super friendly. Great laundry facilities. Children loved the pool with the disco lights. Beds are comfy - room cleaned every day. Come on, the list goes on and on!!! Great Value.........Beautiful spot near all facilities and walk to the beach
M.Great location (everything nearby: close to the airport, close to town, close to the beach), great rooms, great service. Solid fast wifi. Really easy to be here with kids as there's a central pool, our son didn't have time to use it on either of our stays but we saw other kids having a blast in there. Stayed here twice and both rooms were spacious, very tidy, and well appointed.
A.Good service every day when you come back from what you were doing they had done your bed new clean towels hand towels shower mats. They are very kind and friendly. They will give you awesome things to do in Nelson if it is your 1st time. This is the place to come
K.We cannot recommend this motel highly enough. We stayed for 3 nights on our way to our destination. It was such a pleasure to stay in we booked another night on our return home. The rooms are airy, very comfortable, immaculate and the cleanliness was 100%. Everything you need is provided for. The proprietor was friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about what was available in the area. We have no hesitation in giving the Arcadia a 5 star rating.

C.The large studio unit was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller. I live in an apartment in Dunedin & this unit is bigger than my home, with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, the unit has air conditioning & heating, a smart tv with Sky & it was very peaceful & quiet when I stayed. There is a pool as well, although I'm a beach & sea person, so I was glad that Tahuna beach was within walkable distance. Very pleasant & helpful owners too. It's only a short drive from the airport, & there's a dairy a couple of minutes drive away in Roto Street.
S.Andy is a great guy and place is very clean and tidy! Really wrapped with unit serviced every day... moved our booking 3 times due to lockdown and didn't charge us anything extra... AAA + See you again..cheers Shaun
C.We were able to make a late evening booking on the night we arrived. Our hosts were lovely, thoughtful and very accommodating and we ended up staying a second night. Unit was very clean, warm and comfy. Added bonus was being close to beautiful beach walks. Would definitely recommend and would stay again another time. Thanks. 😊

H.What a nice place to stay. Nothing is to much for Andy. I got in late on Friday night which was one of the colder nights I’ve experienced in Nelson, just to walk in to a nice warm and very tidy clean apartment. I’ve met Andy the following morning and we’ve talked about my business. He showed much interest and was very excited about the services I offer. He even shared some marketing skills etc. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again. 😊

K.Stayed here while our household was being moved. Friendly, welcoming staff who kept the unit we had clean and well supplied. Thankyou to host Andrew for his welcoming way of making us feel at home. The big bed in our room was very comfortable and we got three very good nights' sleep . The motel had good facilities. The eco friendly folks out there would be pleased to see his energy saving solar power panels on most roof areas.

M.Having spent 4 weeks travelling around NZ, staying in many motels, we found by chance the Arcadia Motel. It was the best and certainly the friendliest establishment we found on our travels. Andy could not do enough to help. The rooms were spacious, the beds equally so, everything functioned well. The rooms were cleaned daily as well as tea and coffee etc refreshed. We ended up staying there four nights. Don't worry about the closeness of the airport. The planes only land in that direction and infrequently. the last at around 9:30 pm. With traffic on the side-road being light too, it is quiet at night and most of the day. Doubtless you'll spend most of your days exploring the area and its culinary delights and many other attractions. If you're in the area stay here.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and tidy.

Stayed one night, rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious close to the road. Easy to find and close to the beach cafe. Will stay again next time in town!

T.Tidy and clean rooms, just warm enough for winter stay. Unfortunately there's some marks on the blanket (only one), the set up beddings (pillows, sheets) are clean enough, but saw marks and dust on spare ones. Friendly staffs, given us useful advices.
E.We stayed here for 2 weeks and found the staff professional and polite yet personable which made us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Arcadia in Nelson is not far from the beach which is a must visit! I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend anyone else to stay there.
