J. H.The proprietor was out with family when we arrived, but left his cell phone number taped to the reception door. He trusted me with the passcode to the office so I could get my key. He told me later that after five years in the hotel business he had a pretty good sense of trustworthiness.
Parking was tight, and the décor felt dated, but it was clean. No air conditioner, although there was a fan, albeit with an impractically short lead. The spa bath was a nice bonus.

R. T.Had a really pleasant stay at Arrow Motel. Owner was really friendly, helpful and genuine. Easy to deal with and room was all ready when we got there. Just a little bit dated and dusty but the room had everything we needed and it was clean, tidy and well-kept. Service was great and conveniently located. Would absolutely recommend this motel if you're visiting Nelson.
H. M.David was the most helpful host, helping us to organize our trip from afar and around walking the Abel Tasman also. Highly recommend, extremely welcoming and offerering to take us to the supermarket in his own time for nothing, if we needed anything. Close to the airport and a short taxi from town, beautiful restaurants in walking distance, would happily come back to stay here again and family all agree, thank you David, great memories we have taken home.
R. R.Owner was so accommodating and friendly. will definitely stay again! Immaculately clean, warm, great shower and nice creamy milk in the fridge. Makes all the difference for morning coffee. Comfy bed too.
G. B.We have had the privilege staying in this lovely motel and been hosted by Skye.( the manager we think) most proffesional and helpful lady we have encountered so far. Clean and quiet rooms which are nicely equipped. Skye went over and beyond to ensure that we are safe and sound during Nelson's flooding. Nothing is a problem for this lady and despite the stress and panic going through Nelson she looked after us like we would be her own. Thank you Skye. You are a gem. We shall never forget you and your hospitality and care. We will be back hopefully under different circumstances. Ta ta ta
R. L.Nice quiet and handy to the beach and walkways. If you like walking there's a great stroll to town. Shop across the road with great food. Motel old fashion but very clean and tidy and comfy beds. Owner is very helpful and looks after you. Bus to town at door every 20m and abel tasman shuttle will pick you up at your door. Great place to stay

Great little motel, the new owner is very obliging and welcoming and runs the place really well. Very friendly staff. Hot nights would be more comfortable with some air conditioning in the rooms.
