D.My experience of Castle Hotel has been marginal. The manager speak too fast and I was not able to understand them. It was like that I was not wanted or welcomed by these people to come and stay. It was like that they other things to do than talk.
M.The castle motels have been awesome they are putting a lot of people after that a homeless and can't find a house to rent let's through Salvation Army I cannot grumble because it's a roof over our head and we do have a bed to sleep in at the end of the day but the managers are lovely🙏💯🥂🚿🛋🛏🚽⚱
A.We got the room with a spa...literally, the bedroom has a spa in it. Pretty cool, fairly priced hotel. I would recommend to friwnds and family and will certainly use again!
J.Some permanent residents living there. First impression was not good but when we stay there we like it. The room was very good with jacuzzi.
J.Some permanent residents not particularly desirable. I mentioned to Manager that he should suggest to clients a more suitable unit away from these people. Police turned up as we were going out for lunch and they were abusing the Police! We didn't hang around to see what happened.
K.A good place to stay, cozy room and tidy beds. Kitchen is well prepared with utensils, can do pretty much home cooking. 5mins walking to a nice beach behind the house, enjoyed a nice sunset
P.Along my 14 day tour of New Zealand, this hotel has been the most impressive to date. The room is extravagant with a very comfortable bed and included in the price is very nice soap, shampoo, lotion, a bottle of milk and cold water carafe in the refrigerator along with a nice kitchen with every utensil imaginable. The staff here are as friendly as can be including the woman who checked me in and provided a map of the area and explaining in detail restaurants and attractions nearby. The grounds and parking are really well laid out, also. A great night's stay, thanks!
O.Noisy because of the Bay Dreams young people staying there, plus the road noise morning and night. Happy with King bed. Bedside lights get very hot. No aircon for the summer heat. Room clean and adequate for the 2 nights we needed but not much accom on offer because of the music festival. Rm18 could do with a shower upgrade as only a fixed shower head, door to kitchen scraping on carpet needs attention. We weren't asked if we wanted fresh towels but we would have chosen eco option.
D.Nice friendly staff. Didn't stay here as they couldn't provide me with what i wanted.. But was able to help me find what i wanted elsewhere
