A.It's all about the hostess! Beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable rooms. Short walk to town. Close to hospital and all Nelson city attractions. Lovely variety of kitchen and bathroom comps. Really comfortable beds. Awesome showers and spa baths. Seated outdoor balconies /areas with every room. And like I said. .. worth a visit just to meet fabulous Jacqui who will truly make you feel at home and is an excellent person for advice on dining, shopping, activities and entertainment venues in the area. We really enjoyed our extended stay. Cheers Jacqui! !!

We slept very well at the Century Park Motor Lodge and so were able to continue our journey the next morning.
From our point of view, it would have been nice, if also a decent breakfast would have been offered - if not on site then maybe in a cooperation with a restaurant nearby - in the pricing this would have rounded the stay.
A tip from the perspective of us parents, it would be good to round off the corners of the glass plates of the bedside tables - the height was "ideal" for our daughter getting the first scratch in New Zealand ...
We can recommend the Century Park Motor Lodge - especially if you want to spend several days in Nelson, then you also have time to enjoy the location sufficiently.

Since all standard rooms were already rented, we only had a deluxe spa studio - for the late arrival and only one night with an early departure the next morning, maybe a bit oversized for us and at over 200 dollars it was quite expensive.
We couldn't use the studio as it would have been appropriate - especially the beautiful bathroom with the spacious triangular bathtub was neglected. The room was furnished very lovingly and chic and basically invited to a longer stay.
It's only a stone's throw from the Century Park Motor Lodge to the center of Nelson - so we decided to have something to eat in the evening and visited the Urban Oyster Bar and Eatery, a very hip and well-frequented place with delicious small dishes to share.
We slept very well at Century Park Motor Lodge and were able to continue our journey relaxed the next morning.
From our point of view, it would have been nice if a decent breakfast had been offered here - if not on site then maybe in cooperation with a restaurant nearby - in terms of pricing, this would have rounded off the stay.
A tip from the parents' point of view, it would be a good idea to round off the corners of the glass tops of the bedside tables - the height was "ideal" to give our daughter the first scratch in New Zealand ...

Die Century Park Motor Lodge in Nelson war nach unserer Ankunft in Picton der erste Ort auf unserer Weiterfahrt an dem wir auf der Südinsel übernachtet haben. Das Motel haben wir im Vorbeifahren ausgesucht, es ist äußerst gepflegt, ein echtes Nichtraucher Motel und der Empfang war mehr als freundlich.
Da alle Standard Zimmer bereits vermietet waren blieb uns nur ein Deluxe Spa Studio – für die späte Ankunft und lediglich eine Nacht mit wiederum frühem Aufbruch am nächsten Morgen für uns vielleicht etwas oversized und mit über 200 Dollar doch recht kostspielig.
Wir konnten das Studio nicht so nutzen wie es angebracht gewesen wäre – insbesondere das schöne Bad mit der geräumigen dreieckigen Badewanne kam hierbei zu kurz. Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll und chic eigerichtet und lud im Grunde zu einem längeren Aufenthalt ein.
Von der Century Park Motor Lodge ist es nur rein Katzensprung ins Zentrum von Nelson – also entschieden wir uns am Abend noch etwas essen zu gehen und besuchten die Urban Oyster Bar and Eatery, ein sehr hipper und gut frequentierter Ort mit leckeren kleinen Gerichten zum Teilen.
Wir haben in der Century Park Motor Lodge sehr gut geschlafen und konnten am nächsten morgen unsere Reise erholt fortsetzen.
Aus unserer Sicht wäre es schön gewesen, wenn hier auch ein ordentliches Frühstück angeboten worden wäre – wenn nicht vor Ort dann doch vielleicht in einer Kooperation mit einem Restaurant in der Nähe – bei der Preisgestaltung hätte dies den Aufenthalt abgerundet.
Ein Tipp aus Sicht von uns Eltern, es wäre ganz gut die Ecken der Glasplatten der Nachttische abzurunden – die Höhe war „ideal“ um unsere Tochter die erste Schramme in Neuseeland zu verpassen…
Wir können die Century Park Motor Lodge weiterempfehlen – insbesondere, wenn man mehrere Tage in Nelson verbringen möchte, so hat man dann auch Zeit die Lokation ausreichend zu genießen.

Muy lindo motel. La habitación muy linda y excelentemente equipada. El baño amplio y prolijo. La ubicacion buena, a 4 o 5 cuadras del centro. Te dejan todos los días cápsulas de café de cortesía con unas galletitas mahories, un lindo detalle.
