L.Ray and Jules are perfect hosts. Warm welcome, beautifully decorated rooms with big, super comfortable beds and all the amenities you could wish for without the sterile hotel feel. Art galore, interesting books, plenty of advice and information about Nelson and its surrounds. Privacy if wanted but company if desired in the guest lounge and, to top it all off, the awesome breakfast of home made muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, whole meal toast and luxury spreads and fresh real coffee made my stay completely memorable. Collingwood Manor is in heart of Nelson but is a peaceful place to relax and base yourself. 100% highly recommend.

H.First of all, the building is simply elegant, including the rooms, and everything is clean, Next, the hosts are so warm and helpful, and had some nice snacks in the common room. Finally, breakfast is a great activity, not only because of the food but because of the opportunity to have interesting conversation with other guests. On more practical terms, location is good, plenty of parking on the property and on the street, beautiful garden upfront and back. Would definitely recommend to others.

C.We had a wonderful stay here! The food was great but Jules and Ray were the icing on the cake. So welcoming and fun! Spent 3 nights before our 2 week motorcycle tour of the South Island and when we returned for 2 more nights before heading back to California, it was like coming home!

F.(Translated) Spectacular. Ray and Jules are fantastic hosts that make you feel at home. The room we occupy (3 people) is beautiful, tastefully decorated, spacious and with a great bathroom, and equipped with everything you need. It has exit to a porch from which to contemplate the sunset or smoke a cigarette, if it is the case. The breakfast is almost unbeatable, with fresh fruit, juices, fresh bread and some scrumptious eggs served all in a fantastic dining room. It has been one of our best experiences in New Zealand.

Espectacular. Ray y Jules son unos anfitriones fantásticos que hacen que te sientas como en tu casa. La habitación que ocupamos (3 personas) es preciosa, decorada con mucho gusto, amplia y con un baño estupendo, y equipada con todo lo necesario. Tiene salida a un porche desde el que contemplar la puesta de sol o fumarte un cigarrillo, si es el caso. El desayuno es casi inmejorable, con fruta fresca, zumos, pan fresco y unos huevos revueltos riquísimos servido todo ello en un comedor fantástico. Ha sido una de nuestras mejores experiencias en Nueva Zelanda.
