Very clean facilities. Generous wifi limit. Handy to town. Friendly, helpful hosts.

Nice place for a get away. Country feel just on the edge of town. Shared cooking and toilet/ shower. Kids playground isn't much to get excited about and no big grassy areas.

Great for staying in one of their rooms, does has small tent sites so wouldn't recommend those. Is one of the smaller Top 10's but that doesn't take anything away from it

Staff helpful and friendly, facilities clean and tidy but in some areas a little maintenance is needed

I liked this place because when we travel We mostly go to top 10 places around nz And the reason I give it a 5 star is because the owners had a very lovely kitty witch was very nice to us

Sorry, forgot the comment. Certainly a GREAT place to stay. Cant do much about the noise from other units however the unit we were in, our car was blocking the entrance to the shower block etc.... We stayed the 1 night. Our apologies there, we should have parked elsewhere due to the length of the stationwagon.

Absolutely amazing. Accommodated our every request just wonderful superb top quality customer service. Facilities spotless. Managers Top people. Pay them more or give them breaks frequently as these folk are hard to find.

The location is great. But there is only a limited amount of room for caravans. Please make sure that your caravan is not to long. That bridge is very narrow and there is limited turning space.

It's a small holiday park compared to most but a great location. Very clean rooms and helpful staff. The shared kitchen is a very basic setup. I'd recommend bringing your own cooking equipment if you are not in a hotel unit.

10/10 on all fronts Nelson City Top 10 Holiday Park is budget-priced but in no way makes you feel cheaply treated. Whether you are staying in one of the motel units, or a kitchen cabin, or a basic cabin, everything is comfortable and spotlessly clean (communal facilities included). It is in walking distance of downtown Nelson but in a quiet haven, and the staff smile. Accommodation providers, this is how to do it. As a place to stay, it holds its own against more upmarket establishments. I don't know why anyone stays anywhere else!

Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Had a great room which easily catered to 4 adults and 2 children. Location was great too, just a minute or two from the city centre and just across from a large recreational park. Great facilities for cooking, washing clothes, lounge for relaxing, playground and trampoline for the kids to jump around on etc. I know I can't really blame the owners/managers, but we did have a bit of trouble with ants getting into our food! Lucky they didn't find my undies! 4/5 - served us perfectly, was as advertised, was a comfortable and good location.

This is one of the smaller Top10's we have stayed in, thus doesn't have the facilities of the others. But what it does have it looks after and makes sure it is top condition. We were in a kitchen cabin (bed/fridge/kitchen area/table chairs/sofa, shared bathroom). The showers and the toilets were very clean and the kitchen in the room had everything we needed (only did breakfasts). We liked the place and so extended our stay. The bed was one of the best I have slept on in holiday parks.The staff were very helpful on things to do and with extending our stay.

Amenities are clean and fresh. Level sites, some are a little hard to get a caravan in. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really nice holiday park. Not too far to walk to town and lots of the spots are protected and private. It's definitely a smaller Top 10, but really pleasant.

Our experience wasn't great but this camp has amazing activities and food is great for friends and family holidays.

Nice standard cabin with great beds. Would have loved the little bossie mongrel around the slides to quiet down but the world ain't perfect.will stay again ...

Loved this camp, right from easy campervan parking whilst checking in at Reception. Staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. The camp is fairly small-scale, and felt relaxed. However there were plenty of kitchen cooking and washing up facilities, and also toilets and showers, all spotless. Nice barbeque area, where people sat around in the sunshine and chatted. Altogether a delight.

Thank you for having us recently. We had a nice clean unit, with fully made up beds and plenty of space. Very central to town, parks and short drives to Tahunanui, Stoke and so forth. Was very nice to have a plunger for our morning coffees! A couple wee things, being downstairs ment we were woken up by upstairs at all times of night or very early. The door between the bunk rooms and the main room had to be propt shut with a pillow when the kids went to sleep (kept rolling open), and the kitchen was not nearly big enough for being usable, for what was ment to be self contained unit.

Excellent clean and well appointed accommodation. Helpful friendly staff who were proactive and took time to engage with our kids. Very pleasant experience. Timon and Justine were amazing.

Timon at the front desk was super friendly and flagged us down when he saw us in the park looking for a spot (we didn't have a booking as we didn't know how far we were going to drive that day). He got us a spot in back and made us feel welcome. The driveway is narrow and it looks like driving across the bridge is impossible with a motorhome, but we had a Wilderness Alpine 2 (a big beast) and it fit just fine. The spaces have electric/fresh water/gray water hookups which was nice. While we only stayed one day, it was great. The facilities were clean and the showers were huge. The only awkward thing is that when you use the dump station, it's right over the bridge so you have to make sure no one else is trying to leave at the time you're emptying your tanks or else they can't get out and have to wait for you to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this Top 10 Park was awesome! The facilities were very clean and our unit was lovely and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here and we'll definitely be going back. Loved it ☺

Neat and clean facility. Easy access and good parking available. Motel unit had all basic needs cattered for and was well serviced. Stayed three nights and would stay again. Close proximity to town was great.

Super nice ppl, really nice top 10, as always, but ONLY POWERED SITES, it's important to know, the bathroom is does not have a heater =/// also the kitchen is very small and have only a table. I would give them 4.5 stars if it was possible.

Small,compact,quiet.This holiday park rated classic by Top 10 is a gem close to the city centre.All amenities are in first class order.The current hosts,an Australian/French couple know what hosting is all about.Their attention to detail is superb and everone is the No 1 client.

A great place to stay. helpful friendly staff, fresh and clean. Lots of kitchen equipment so you can self cater but close to town if you want to head out. The "kitchen cabin" had a comfy bed, tv, sofa, table and chairs.

Have been here 3 times now. Clean, tidy and polite staff. Town centre and 2 supermarkets shortish walking distance. The best Fish & Chip shop in the world (Victory Square) just 6 minutes walk away.

we have stayed there before with our small dog and were there just before the covid 19 lockdown . Everyone was very helpful and we look forward to returning as soon as possible.

I must say were were well looked after at this place. If we are ever back in Nelson this is a very central place to stay as a base when on holiday to see the sights of Marlborough.

Powerd site very good

Quite happy with site and amenities but God only knows who decided to build the Dump Station right by the bridge which is the only access to the back of the park. Very clean and quiet and good value.

Another great stay at Nelson top 10. Bonus is that the beds are now made up in the basic cabin I stay in. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

I was really impressed all the facilities of most motels very close to all amenities me and my mate went there and went fishing bad weather caught no fish but did enjoy the accommodation

Ok but our motel unit wasnt serviced so we ran out of tea...towels...and loo paper.

What does service the room mean? At this location (we stayed 4 nights) it means new towels daily

This is a smaller campground due to being in the city. It has cabins, tent sites as well as many spaces for motorhomes / RVs.

(Translated) The small but nice park gets 5 stars from me. We were received very friendly and provided with good tips for the hike in Abel Tasman. I found the pitches wonderfully separated by hedges. Stayed there two nights. (Original) Der kleine aber feine Park bekommt von mir 5 Sterne. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und mit guten Tipps für die Wanderung im Abel Tasman versorgt. Die Stellplätze fand ich wunderbar getrennt durch Hecken. Waren zwei Nächte dort.
