s.One of the best accommodations I have stayed in while I am on work trip multiple times. The staff are excellent and very very helpful. Rooms are equipped with good modern amenities and staff does awesome job cleaning rooms spotless. It is in heart of city and supermarkets, Warehouse etc to walking distance. The awesome service they provide is with restaurants around eg Lone start does free delivery on food and you can charge this to your room which is so convenient. Great parking too. I would be definitely staying here again.

H.Friendly welcome, exceptional standard of room especially the bathroom with spa bath and quality toiletries. Very well equipped kitchen comfortable beds with high quality linen and pillows. Although busy it was peaceful at night and slept so well. Small pool area was a treat to sit at and a good family facility. Very handy access to everything.

S.Lovely motel, our apartment had everything one would need, huge spa, body wash, lotions and shampoo were provided in our bathroom, love decent smellies...where can I get my hands on the the attached swivel mirror? Countdown across the road, walking distance into the township...would highly recommend... Reasonably priced for three
K.Palms Motel Nelson is centrally located very well appointed and fully self-contained. Nice bathroom with a good size shower. Being so close to the city centre has its draw backs though being close to major intersection so traffic noise quite loud and the supermarket on the other side of the road has its goods delivered from 6:30am on so we were woke to the sound of a forklift truck doing the unloading.
Unfortunately on our arrival there was a very dirty towel in the bathroom, as we did not need to shower till the next morning, we just used one towel then left both towels on the bathroom floor hoping for clean towels, on arriving back in the afternoon we found two towels one wet and the very dirty one hanging in the bathroom. Reception staff came over with two clean towels, but on talking to other guest they found dirty wet towels in there bathroom on arrival, we both think that the towels in both our rooms had not been changed from the previous guests being there. (Makes you wonder when the bed sheets were changed last)
Also another guest had a dog in there room on our first night there, which was rather annoying (As one of the reasons we had booked there was my wife has an allergic conditions)
This accommodation was ok but there are better in Nelson just remember to book early, not like us and book only a few weeks ahead and have limited options.
N.Stayed three nights. Really clean and comfortable. Especially the recliner chair. Great location. But the smokers spoilt it around unit 17 in a corner of the complex. It was like having a smoker in your room with those around smoking outside. Why do the 75 percent of us who don’t smoke have put up with this? Expressed my concerns with management with not much success. Wouldn’t stay here again vectof this. A pity because otherwise a good property. Time for non smokers to stand up for their rights!

D.Glenis and her team were friendly, approachable and informative. The motel rooms were immaculately clean and of good size. A refreshing pool to swim in and The Palms are a two minute walk to fantastic restaurants and sights. Highly recommend.

M.Modern motel units, very clean, calm and has a pool area. The only reason why I can not give 5 stars is that the wifi is limited to 100MB per day (for all devices) and the connection was often interrupted.
B.I was transporting people from Christchurch to Nelson & return overnite & my boss put me & 5 other drivers @ the Palm motel. We arrived quite early on a Saturday morning & an arranged breakfast was delivered to each of our rooms & it was just what the stomach needed. Big double bed & a single, telly & a fantastic shower. As we needed to sleep during the day, well there was very little road noise & the motels other customers were very quiet as well. This place ticked all my boxes & I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. By the way if staying for a while Countdown have a big shop across the road 😎

M.I have stayed here twice during business trips to Nelson and its been a pleasure each time. The staff are friendly, the rooms are well attended to and comfortable and the location is central. The motel is located right next to a Countdown supermarket and 5-10mins walk from the town. It is a quick 7 minute walk to the I-Site and Intercity coach terminal. There is an option for a cooked or continental breakfast option in the morning which is delivered straight to your room. I will defi ately stay there again.
