D.I booked the entire house for 12 of us to stay 4-6 January 2018. Heather was fantastic to communicate with and very willing to accommodate us all. This included providing a delicious breakfast (catering for gluten free, nut free and vegetarian dietary restrictions) and helping us book a tour to the Abel Tasman National Park. She also made us a packed lunch and a dinner which was both tasty and special! The rooms are well kept and very clean. The beds were lovely and comfortable and everyone agreed they had the best sleep of the entire trip at Sussex House. I highly recommend this BnB and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nelson. Thank you for everything Heather.
M.It was a lovely experience staying here with Heather, our hostess being very warm and friendly. It was a cozy room with nice view and was very close to the high street and major attractions like Centre of New Zealand, queens park, anzac park etc. We were here on our honeymoon and Heather was very thoughtful and kept small chocolates for us at the breakfast table on the eve of Valentines day. We would love to go back here.

Llegamos a Sussex House Bed & Breakfast desde Wellington en el peor dia del año, porque el 25 de diciembre todo esta cerrado en New Zealand. La recepcion de Heather (la dueña) fue tan, pero tan maravillosa y calida que no quise esperar a irnos para dejar una reseña. Nos invito a participar del almuerzo familiar con la comida de Navidad, nos ofrecio hasta champagne y postre y no quiso saber nada que le dijeramos que no. La habitacion es SOÑADA. La casa es IMPECABLE, la cama enorme y los colchones muy pero muy comodos. El silencio que hay en los alrededores es impagable. Mañana con el desayuno, nos espera seguramente otra sorpresa
