M.Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities - mix of older and new but clean. Not suitable for campervans over 7.5m(maybe 8m). Highly recommended.
m.Showers were nice and all facilities really clean and well maintained. We were tenting and it had rained the night before we were due to leave and they kindly let us hang around until lunch to let our tent dry out before taking it down.
M.We stayed over 3 nights, really enjoyed the fecility. Very clean, and people were friendly. I would recommend to anyone who comes to Taranaki 😄👍

H.Located close to the wonderful Fitzroy Beach, New Plymouth TOP 10 Holiday Park provides a range of accommodation options from tent sites, to basic cabins to fully furnished self-contained motel units. The motel units were quite expensive (over $200 per night for 1 adult and two children), but they were quite spacious and well set up. The pool is small and deep with no shallow end, so not suitable for less confident swimmers, especially smaller children swimming without a supervising adult in the water with them. The have a small playground, but it was sufficient to keep my kids entertained. The redeeming feature of this place (apart from proximity to the beach) was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It probably was not enough for us to go back though.

R.Wonderful friendly staff. Quiet and attractive sites for camping or campervan. Amenities spotless. Hard to fault this park. Would have liked more generous wifi entitlement. 1GB doesn't go far these days. We will definitely return.

J.Very helpful staff. Brilliant free showers with plenty of hot water. The site is clean and well kept. No hesitation in going back again. I was there for 10 days for the Sustainable Gardens event. Never any problems. Quiet at night, even when they had school children there.
Easy walk into Fitzroy where there is a popular (if slightly pricey) wine bar that does great bar food to accompany the vino.
Make sure your camper will fit the space.
Only negative is the limited internet. These days we all expect it to be included in the overall price. Hence I only saw half my film on Netflix.
J.Clean units, comfy bed, but take your own shower and shampoo...doesn't get provided
P.Terrible condensation in all 3 rooms we had and poor heating - camp lounge not heated at all and would have liked to use for our big group - our kids were told camp too busy so pedal karts not available for hire - lighting too dim for our old eyes! Would not go back!
K.Friendly lovely staff, enjoyed our four night's here, beautiful clean pools and spa pool, toilets and showers were always kept clean and tidy, useful clean BBQs and seating.
A few KMs from places but we'll worth it.

S.It's the first time that I have found a holiday camp that has facilities for wheelchair bound people. The unit is also in the quiter area of the camp away from the childrens playground it has wheelchair access into the unit with wider than normal door entrance from outside with wheel chair access to shower and toilet facilities. Very impressive
D.Awesome stay on the weekend with our Born Biker motorcycle group. Friendly staff, great clean amenities and easy parking. Would definitely stay again!!

O.Good environment but WAY over the top charges for sites even for the high season. Dont know how they can get away with it??
C.Not bad but one of the toilets was dirty, with spiders and dust, the kitchen didn't have dish soap or things for cook.
D.Disappointing for the price charged. No bathroom soap, no change of towels or room servicing - 2 night stay. Shower cubicle very small - couldn't move without bumping control lever. Bunk room very small.

W.This is a very good camping ground but the studio unit I had was getting a bit tired and needed a refurbish. On the expensive side for its condition.
