L. M.What a gem and a lucky find. Our first night elsewhere in New Plymouth was not a good experience but the Nice Hotel put all that behind us. Terry the owner and his staff could not have done more to make us welcome and were all totally professional. Nice comfy beds and a real home away from home feel. Will definitely be back next time in New Plymouth and best of all they are pet friendly.Thanks for making our last two nights in New Plymouth a good experience.
M. S.We have just very recently had a "let's have a night away" and our night at The Nice Hotel was truly amazing. Right from arriving with out lovely dog 🐕 with us we felt truly special. The service was second to none, same with the food and drinks. The staff truly amazing. Our beautiful dog was completely welcomed everywhere in the hotel. If anyone is thinking about going there for an amazing night away, don't think about it DO IT !!!! Thankyou thankyou thankyou to the most wonderful staff for making our stay completely memorable.

R. H.Great find as a restaurant, not sure about the accommodation as I didn't inspect. Lovely food and quality and quantity, although a limited menu, i.e. five main dishes to choice from but should cover everyone's wants, plus the entrees and desert dishes with a great bar and drinks, wine selection with a neat seating, comfortable bar lounge, definitely will return.

The food was exquisite. Every course was delightful and flavourful. The staff are second to none. I cannot wait to come back!

As the decor takes you to the out door dining on the patio for your drinks or meal it's time to take you off the rat race and place you in a garden surrounded by palms gold-fish.an exotic plants with not a care in the world,
With a large out-side fireplace and ambient light coming from the Chandelier it's just amazing how only 50 meters an you are in central N.P whether you choose to book a room or not your time at Nice hotel and restaurant will be a memorable one
