R.We had a great time staying at this motel. Me and my partner went to New Plymouth for the first time and stayed at this property for three nights and our experience is absolutely amazing! It's clean, comfortable and the hosts Tony and Ebby are very hospitable. This motel is also accessible to shops, must-try cafes and restaurants in town. It's a highly recommended property and we would definitely come back for our next holiday in NP.

The room or should I say rooms which I didn't expect were clean and tidy.
Have to say the bathroom let the whole stay down, broken window latches, floor lifting & the shower these just need updating.
But the beds super comfy & if you only need to rest your head this is the place to stay.

G.great price and very friendly owner, great location (walked to the lights festival in 5 minutes) the room had everything we needed. The beds were doubles rather than the queen i was expecting, so it was difficult to fit 5 people but made it work. There was mold on the windows which would be easy to clean and when you use the water there is a sound that lasts about 5 minutes.
V.Clean, comfortable, quiet, very good WiFi speed, Tony very helpful, I could give 5stars, only the bathroom specially the shower needs renovation
H.Amazing experience, everything available, from towels, soaps, shampoos, to tea bags, coffee, milk, hot chocolates etc etc. Stove, heater, microwave, iron, blankets clean and organized. Very economical. Highly recommended.

T.I was greeted by the owner at reception, the owner was very friendly and the paying for the room was quick.
I had a choice for either an upstairs or downstairs room, I chose the upstairs room with a view of Mt Taranaki and the coast. The owner showed me to my room and answered all my questions about the place. The room nice, very spacious and clean. The bonus was the rooms have Mysky with all the channels
a.4 years in a row and have always been taken care of by Tony. Look foward to this years stay. Btw revamp is great. Better and better each year

L.The ASURE Saddle & Sulky Motor Lodge was a great ,affordable accomadation which offered all needs of ours. However I did feel that they should offer family sized bedding as we had to request for a stretcher to be placed to ensure we all had comfortable nights. We stayed there three nights and were pleasantly surprised by the closeness to main attraction including Pukekura Park and the festival of lights in the same location. A short walk to the city centre was welcome. We feel that more signage is neccesary as we nearly lost our way with only one small sign guiding us.
