R.We got caught in the South Island due to Covid and decided to catch the late ferry rather than fly. The family unit was very welcoming at 1:00am, comfortable beds. warm unit.
I really liked the retro style of the unit and noticed that the new carpet and furniture was in keeping with its original style. I hope they keep the retro look as they upgrade...I love the wood paneling and having breakfast on the back porch.
The bathroom was modern with great shower pressure and the whole unit was meticulously clean and tidy.
We will stay again.
L.Great place to stay and a favorite motel of Bobs Transport Ltd. The units are spacious, clean and well maintained. I love the fluffy towels and crisp sheets. The shower is excellent with great pressure.
The biggest thing for us there is plenty of parking when we are towing a boat or a caravan.

C.Arrived late after a nightmare Cook Strait Crossing to find the lights & heat pump on and a spotlessly cleaned motel room. Older motel but we'll presented. The fluffiest nicest white towels ever & beautiful duvet covers made it look really inviting. I slept well as bed was really comfy. Pet friendly. Will definitely stay there again on my way back to the South Island. Christina 🌹
B.Nothing flash about here as decor is dated but very clean & comfortable, with the room smelling really nice. Good place to pit stop but take into account that it is the main road, so heavy traffic and truck noises is to be expected. Lovely customer service.

J.This is an old school Motel in Otaki. It is immaculately clean and the shower pressure is fantastic. The bed was clean, comfortable and the staff nice and friendly.

b.Great motel with a great 2 bedroom family unit older motel but so clean and nothing was a bother to them. Even had a egg poacher in the room to use which was great.
