L.A really good hostel. Clean, a good kitchen with lots of space to eat when the weather is nice and a really good price. Pool area open till 10, didn't use it that often as the sea is really close as well, still a great place to spend your free time! Showers are very old and sometimes cold.
S.Awesome pool, nice beds and some of the nicest showers in a hostel ever! HOWEVER when the clock stroke 12 our room mate and their acquaintance (who we assume came from a bar) entered our room while we were trying to sleep. The usual polite whispers seemed normal UNTIL they became more like panting. This kept going (off and on) until 5am!!! Both impressive and irritating!!!
Never before have I felt so uncomfortable, tired and and impressed being in a hostel room. Such a shame as the kitchen was really good and the overall stay would be 4.5* otherwise.
L.It is an awesome hostel! Everybody is super chill including the staff and especially a manager. I stayed here long-term and therefore also got a super price per night! They offer a lot of things including a pool (in a hostel!). The kitchen was nice but maybe a little stuffed at rush hour. I would love to give 5 stars but the service in the long term stays was non-existent :'D . It was no problem for me but it would have been nice if our in room kitchen would have been cleaned or the garbage changed. But we justed used the public kitchen so it was alright! Definitely the place to stay for longer times in Paihia ( also party every night ;-) )
A.By far my favorite hostel in nz! Spend more then 8 months in total there and would come back any time.
Big kitchen nice outside area pool jauzzi and tennis court always available to use. Manager and staff are absolutely amazing it’s the perfect hostel sourrunded by the beautiful bay of islands. Definitely recommend it !!
P.Here for the August Jazz & Blues Festival. Clean, tidy, friendly, affordable. Quiet at night. Winter time anyway Access to pool, spa and tennis courts. 8 min walk to ferry. Happily stay again but bring our own can opener.
K.The photo taken was the view from room 4 window, however the bathroom is quiet dirty and the motel next door is known for playing music all night. They do however have a wonderful swimming pool and spa, you also have access to the local tennis next door.
M.really nice place. Party place. Rooms really big. Common area well equiped. The host really helpful. Everything clean. Good value for the money you pay. Great common area outside - where guests gather and drink and chat together. Close to the beach.

K.Definitely a GREAT place to stay if you're back packing through New Zealand.
I stay here with my Girlfriend, her sister and her niece. It was a Saturday night so the party was raging downstairs but all in all it wasn't that bad.
The facilities are nice and the Staff are also very nice. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again!

b.Very good facilities and well worth the price! I (female) got put in with 5 other boys, would be nice to have atleast one other female. Also, there was phones being stolen whilst people slept- so keep your belongings safe and lock the door at night!

J.Affordable rates a swimming pool and hot tub, what else do you need. But seriously great location, fantastic staff and clean rooms and kitchen. Love the Netflix room at the back of you just want to escape for a few hours 🙌

J.Best place to stay in the bay of islands. Really loving and friendly group, the long termers are also super welcoming and fun! Great atmosphere, clean and with a pool, hot tub and tennis court. Recently had a new kitchen put in too :) love you Bay Adventurer!! Xxx
g.Cute hostel, one of the best I've stayed at. Bathroom is a bit camping style but rooms were cool. They had a pool as well as a jacuzzi. Friendly staff and nice area
R.This is a very good option to stay in apartments or Rooms or shared drom. This property is located very near to beach and Pahiha whrif with beautiful landscape. There is a common kitchen, open BBQ chicken, swimming pool and Tennis lawn which are extra benefits. Good Staff and clean atmosphere are also attractive. Ground floor is wheel chair accessible.

C.Cannot recommend this place enough! I had a funeral we needed to attend and left Auckland very late. I called and explained we would not make check in. Josh at reception took us without hesitation and understanding. Exceptional experience and it took alot off our shoulders. Thanks Bay Adventure and Josh for reminding me what wonderful people we have out in Aotearoa. (Paihia)
D.Nice Room and good stay. But the receptionist was not that welcoming and helpful. Also they advertised that they got parking but we didn’t got any parking and had to park in the street. Giving 3 stars ⭐️ for the nice and tidy apartment rooms.

A.More of a social place with everyone sitting in the yard all evening. The hostel and location is alright. However, the beds are small and squeaky (you can't sit on em), kitchen could be cleaner and the showers not having a cold option is somewhat inconvenient.

X.For this price you can't complain. Although the room smelled badly and the shower was JUST warm. But great hostel, pool, tennis court, nice location.

a.Nice hostel. Located right in the heart of city. Clean facilities and the poolnand sauna are absoloutly gr8 addition. Would definatly recommend and love to come back.
