S.Loved our stay Marie was an Awesome host can't wait to stay again. Definitely recommend this place. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful scenery the beach a skip away. Thankyou my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
J.The place to live in Paihia! Absolutely perfect. I’m living in a six bed dorm room which is not one single room but three rooms with two beds each. Everyone has his own bed what is really comfortable. The bathrooms (there are two in my room) and everything else is very very clean. It’s all new. The supermarket is a 5 minutes walk away and the hostel is directly at the waterfront with sea view. You have very much space in a fully equipped big kitchen. I felt immediately like home. It is definitely like a hotel. It’s all so lovely and Marie is so friendly and helpful. By the way you get discounts for some tours. Brilliant.
L.Excellent experience staying at Seabeds. Doesn’t feel like staying at most backpackers accommodation. It’s clean and spacious, even in the dormitory room. The dorm rooms are more like suites, with two twin beds per room and no bunk beds. It’s great to enjoy the beach view with a cup of coffee in the morning on the upper balcony. And the cat who lives there is very friendly!
B.I stayed here for two nights. The hostel is well cared for and very comfortable. Marie is a great host and good to talk to. Kitchen is spotless and has everything you would need. Beds are comfortable. Close to beach and supermarket. I can't find a fault with the place.
D.A quite backpackers style accomodation with a great owner. The kitchen is well equipped with a fantastic dining area. Very clean & modern. Right on the beach. Walking distance to supermarket, food places & pubs. Stayed here few times already. Highly recommended.
E.This is probably the nicest hostel I've stayed at. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped and organized, and it's right across the street from the beach. The owner is very nice and likes to keep things clean and organized.
Despite all these amazing things, it still has extremely reasonable rates for what you're getting.
The only con I can think of is that the wifi could be better. It doesn't really work in any of the rooms so you have to go to the TV room or outside to use it. It's also a bit slow. Still, it was mostly reliable and worked better than the internet at most of the other hostels I've stayed at.
Overall, as you can see from my 5-star rating, I highly recommend this hostel.
B.I spend four nights in this hostel and it was all in all just perfect. The rooms were clean and hygenic and the beds were comfertable.
But also the bathrooms were in a very good shape.
What i liked most about the hostel was the lounge and the kitchen. Both rooms were clean and built in a modern, nice style.
It was really a pleasure to talk to other backpackers about our travelling experience in this comfy lounge.
J.Really a deluxe hostel. Beautiful kitchen on the first floor provides the hub for eating and socialising, though there's also a cosy TV lounge tucked away at the back on the ground floor. The downstairs dorm rooms don't have a view, but they're so comfortable, with individual beds, that you are unlikely to mind. Friendly staff are helpful and keep the place super clean.
B.Easily the cleanest hostel I've ever been in. Kitchen was sparkling clean. The owner takes a lot of pride in the cleanliness.
The beach view is stunning, And the owner and her staff are very kind and sweet.
Wifi is unlimited; None of this 200mbs Zenbu nonsense. Only con is it's range is limited to the TV room and common area. Some wifi boosters should do the trick!
M.Excelent host. Super friendly. She does more than she should to help you out. Super clean. Waterfront. Peaceful and in 10 min in town. Supermarket 3min walk. The best hostel in NZ!!!!
A.booked two months in advance via BBH for a twin room, credit card payment went through 24hrs before check in. arrived to find they had someone else with same first name turn up, so they'd given her my room. lady mentioned two previous people before me had also had problems and had been upset with her. then she was going to give me someone elses room, as they hadnt turned up yet!! obviously they need to write down full names of people who have booked, add booking ref or phone number as well. ended up in a double bed with my adult daughter. room was clean, tidy, bed comfortable. missed having a fan though, was very hot. all the people on my floor slept with doors open (so lots of snoring could be heard).
P.Oh yeah. Very nice owner, good location, very clean and cosy rooms, no bunk beds (!!). We loved the great kitchen, the decoration, and the fact that there was lots of light. Thank you, we had the best night.

C.(Translated) The best hostel I have visited in New Zealand. The decor is very modern, well maintained and clean. The rooms are also super split. The hostel is right on the sea. If you stay there I recommend a sailing trip with "She is a Lady" great stay. If there was an extra star the hostel would have deserved it.

Das beste Hostel was ich in Neuseeland besucht habe. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern, gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer sind auch super aufgeteilt. Das Hostel ist direkt am Meer. Falls ihr da übernachtet empfehle ich die eine Segeltour mit "She is a Lady" super Aufenthalt. Wenn es einen extra Stern gäbe hätte das Hostel ihn verdient.
