L.Love love love the Boathouse. Have stayed here multiple times but when I went to book again I found the price has GREATLY increased plus a 3 night minimum stay and I can't afford to book it anymore. So sad as it's my favourite place to relax with my family and I will miss it dearly.
H.The Boathouse is an exceptional place to spend time away in the Bay of Islands. My wife and I booked five nights at "The Bridge", loved it from the moment we entered the apartment. The location is fantastic, the layout of the apartment is comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The Fish + Chips shop and the General Store are just a few minutes walk away.
One thing to get used to is the constant ferry traffic with the landing right next to the house. But, we found that is part of the environment that makes staying at the Boathouse special.

H.Absolutely beautiful apartment! Set out to capture the breathtaking views. Very peaceful but great for people watching with the car ferry right beside. Will be back sooner rather than later🤗🤗🤗

A.This place was an excellent deal, it is right by the car ferry and you can get most of what you would need from the small collection of shops less than 100 metres up the road. The room itself was lovely and cosy and has a great view across the water. You can fish off and even jump into the water and swim off of the deck and there is a ladder to climb out of the water up. Not to mention it is also right by a coastal walk which you can follow to walk into Paihai which is only a 10 minite drive away.
H.This is a really magical place and we loved everything about it. Well thought out and appointed apartments. Our grandchildren judged it "the best holiday ever." Thank you.
L.One of the best places I've stayed. Impossible to fault on provisions....toiletries and towels generous and top quality, a good wine in the fridge and a really spectacular view.
