B.I am staying here right at this moment... Perfect location as in very close to centre of city. Very clean, fronts person at motel friendly and welcoming. Older motel hence rooms are bigger. Everything here. Little extra at reception was fruit which we could help ourselves to and I did. I arrived earlier and could leave my car at motel to go to mall before checking in. This was appreciated. Next time in Palmerston I would return.
T.Really friendly staff, and exceptionally clean and tidy rooms. Handy to CBD and local shops and eateries. It's summer, so with all the trees in full leaf, it's a really pretty setting. Super easy check-in, and the young dude behind the reception desk was very welcoming. We were even offered fruit and lollies! It's a really nice place to stay.
Unfortunately, the WiFi is pretty rubbish - it's slower than dial-up back in the day, and doesn't allow enough connections per room for the whole family. 😑 Sadly, for us, this is a deal breaker.
Y.Room is great and clean as we've stayed here before and came again. Shower is nice and high with great pressure. The only thing letting them down is the 3rd world Wifi I've never seen anything so bad at any hotel EVER and might be down to lack of repeaters but it dropped every 5 seconds for all of us.

A.This place has an ambience of its own... But what makes this a surprisingly good stay was the friendly staff at reception, the exceptional eggs benedict, modest but clean environment. A pleasant stay central to town. Ideal for the graduation week... Thank you very much. Will come back and stay again.
C.Place and staff was more than lovely. The room was smaller than what we were expecting for a king studio as well as there not being a table and chairs. The spa bath is just a normal bath with jets, ours however did not work. Overall ended up being quite expensive for what we ended up getting

Enjoyed a top cooked breakfast to finish off what has to be the best motel stay we have experienced in Palmerston North, and we have stayed in a lot of them. Big thank you to the lovely NEW owners!
E.Absolutely EXCELLENT facility. Andy is the most friendliest and accommodating host! The rooms are clean, tidy and affordable. The breakfasts are really yummy too. I stay at the Fitzherbert regularly for work and am always impressed with the consistent presentation of the hotel. Highly recommend.

M.We so loved our two nights stay in this lovely Castle room. The Manager lady greeted us nicely and we loved all the lovely trees. We just needed this tranquility to take a break. Room was so clean and spacious. We won't hesitate to stay again.
