L.Had a very comfortable stay, over the new year period. The rooms are clean, and hosts were friendly and helpful!
J.We phoned the morning before we decided to head to Auckland for New Year. They were so easy and accommodating to talk to. On our arrival at 3 p.m we were met with a smile and told that for the same price we were upgraded from a studio unit to a larger unit with a separate bedroom because they remembered from our previous yearly stays that my husband had a shoulder injury. So they put us into the room with a soft top pad to cater for this. Our host showed us the unit which was beautifully upgraded including double glazed windows and door. Noise from the busy road had been a problem but no longer.. you could barely hear any outside sound at all. John came over to welcome us when he arrived back... this motel is our stay of choice ... close to everywhere we need to go... wonderful genuinely friendly owners who ensure every stay is special. Thankyou both for yet another comfortable, welcoming, pleasant stay.. see you again midyear.

J.We have had a few stays at this motel and we have to say it has always been beautifully clean, sufficiently appointed, comfortable and private. A little road noise at busy times but otherwise quiet and very pleasant to stay. Would def recommend.
S.Very clean and well serviced. The styling may be a little older, but its comfortable with quick access to the motorway. I'll very definitely be staying there again.
C.Very clean and spacious for what we needed. Modern furniture, nice bathrooms and although close to motorway off ramp didn't really hear traffic. Nice people who ran the motel.
M.Quick stop when u totally forgot u had yr best mates wedding to attend that totally slipped my mind four years ago totally sorry. I made up for it was early. This place was left as everyone had booked every hotel motel out there was amazing this one was open I had a good time staff amazing was a bit worried but 5 stars great!
H.Modern unit, with parking outside, everything was very clean and well presented. Beds were very comfortable. Heat pumps in units. Would definitely stay here again..

안.I stayed the last night of my 9days nuzealand tour on the 5'th of January 2018. Comparing to the 4-star rate hotels where I stayed in Newzealand, the Colonial motel was the most satisfactory to me. My room was on the 2'nd floor which contains kitchen bathroom and 2 beds. The room was very clean like the new building and I liked the bathroom especially because the transparent glass door of the shower booth it looked clean and modern. It also has good accessibility to the highway No. 1 and very easy to find because it is very close to the Papakura exit.
S.Everything was to my satisfaction. Enjoyed catching up with Yong, my old boss. Will definitely be returning.
