L.We stayed on one of the beach front villas, amazing views and nicely presented unit. It was expensive but we thought it was worth it for a couple of nights. The cleaning staff were soooo lovely. So friendly and helpful. It is worth noting that one must put the key in the slot in the room in order for the kitchen hobs and plugs to work. We were not told this so we were not able to cook our dinner on the first night as the office had closed after we discovering this. Most reception staff were nice

T.The Tasman Holiday Parks at Papamoa Beach is a wonderful place to stay and take the family the facilities are really clean and user friendly and the area is safe for families. We stayed in a beach from villa and loved every moment of of it we will definitely be going back
P.We have stayed here a few times now. We rate this place 4 stars as far as a holiday park goes. Has everything you need for the adults and kids.
The reason we have not rated it 5 stars:
Depending on where you stay, the dump station can be a big of a trek for us caravaners....a way to walk to empty the gray waste.
Also, we booked a specific site June 2021 for our Jan holiday 2022, and when we arrived were given a different site. When we questioned this we were advised the staff member making the booking did not mention we wanted this specific site so we were allocated another one, as per their policy apparently....was advised it's in the fine print......nothing the staff member who checked us in could do....said she would get the Manager to come and see us but what could they do about it......pretty annoyed given we had booked 7 months in advance......
Overall, it is worth visiting.....despite what occurred we will be back but we will be very specific with future bookings.
Plenty of places to eat within walking distance as well as that important liquor store and supermarket for your holiday supplies.
S.This is another camp ground that is well laid out. Has a range of sites for different size vans. A peaceful place apart from.the sea noise.you hear and see the odd pheasant floating around the place. Shower block excellent. Good pressure. Laundry clean. The general cleanliness is excellent. Grounds are all mown and well manicured. Worth the cost.

Z.Location - Excellent location by the beautiful Papamoa beach. Easy few metres walk to the beach. Can get very busy at roundabout entry. Ample free parking onsite. Dairy across the road for basics or Countdown/Paknsave a few mins drive down the road (Papamoa Plaza). Slight slopes for those with mobility issues. Can't beat the sound of the ocean!
Service - Friendly and professional reception staff, standard activity brochures available, a bit more lighting would be beneficial at night time.
Goods - clean, slightly dated furnishings (but let's be honest that's not why your there), reasonably priced, as private as they can make it (trellis screens etc.).
Recommend - Yes, our 2nd stay so far!

A.The overall campsite was great. Showers, toilets and kitchen was clean plus it was nice and close to the beach. There was a nice little playground for the kids to play on, bikes and scooters available to hire and a block of shops just across the road. However there was only 1 working fridge and a weird 7min hot water timer on the showers. There is power available and there were camper cords available to buy at the reception. If not for the the fridge and shower situation I would've given 5 stars. Definitely would go back again if I find myself looking for a place to camp around the area.
M.Such a cool spot! Parked right by the beach, loved the sound of the ocean all night and dog friendly beach just 5 mtrs away! What more can one ask for. Staff were excellent, facilities clean and tidy.

K.Great place for us to stay with our 3 children. Clean facilities and was awesome they were super close to our campsite. Access to beach was perfect! Only downfall is the broken refrigerator in the kitchen. The one working fridge was small and everyone having to share the small space.

L.My sister and I stayed for 2 nights in a garden villa (No 45) at your resort. We were absolutely thrilled with the villa, the standard of cleanliness. L.I've been coming here for 10 years, always a favourite. Sometimes there can be a feeling of double standards in the rules which can leave a bitter taste in the mouth. Which is a shame, and simple suggestions which would make camping life easier often go unheard. Regardless of that, we love coming here because it's not very commercialized like other sites. A great family feel.

S.These people went beyond the call of duty looking after my elderly mother who went AWOL from her home. They looked after her for a night while we got down from Auckland. She stayed another night as she was quite happy there while we sorted her affairs. Thank you so very much to the staff for keeping her safe until we could get to her.
d.So close to the beach! Lots of camping space. Nice air con cabins. Clean facilities. Could do with one more block of toilet/showers near playground/upper beach camp sites. We come early feb so not too busy. Kids love the jumping pillows. Near shops and kid friendly pub.

K.I just love this place. Super tidy place. They got hips of toilets, kitchens with all facilities. I like there car access system. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Car parking are available for gusts as well but outside. Spa room was awesome. You will feel like you are sleeping in the sea. All the facilities got wheelchair and stroller access friendly. So, anyone can enjoy there stay here. If you want to get good place you need to book little bit earlier. If I or we give them 5 stars it will be less they deserve more than that.

J.We came to stay for one weekend and within ten days had bought a caravan setup on a Weekender Site. It is extremely well-maintained and you couldn't really ask for more in the location. We are 55 steps from the ocean, 55 steps from the toilet facilities and 5 - 10 minutes walk from all the shopping you could want plus local library. On the room-for-improvement side: the jumping pillow has no shade over it so can get quite hot in the summer but trees shade it some of the time in other seasons; the recycling scheme could be improved (only glass recycling) but we'll work on that. Overall we do love it and spend a much time here as we can. The staff are uber friendly so we always feel welcome and we'll looked after.
A.The best place for NZ summer! Friendly staff, well maintained facilities, white sandy beach, just the right waves for everyone, close to shopping centre...perfect holidays everytime we visit.
T.Definite 5/5. Most amazing and clean bathrooms and laundry. Ideal spot on the. Each front. We had dogs with us so we were initially placed in a spot with no "life" or view however once we spot to the manager we were moved to an amazing spot. We even got a friend departure text to wish us a safe journey home.

v.A well run and very popular beach front camp ground including tent sites, caravan and campers and cabins. There is play areas for the children and the beach right on your door step. This camp ground is well organized and kept with accommodating and friendly staff. Very early bookings are recommended. Especially over summer.

C.Absolutely incredible! Arrived late and walked into the most beautiful 2 bedroom villa with fantastic heating and everything we need! We are so excited to start the day tomorrow, the kids play area is right next to our room and there's a shopping centre right down the street with everything else we might need. The beach is mere meters away too!!! My boys are excited to hire the cool bikes and build sand castles. I'm totally blown away. 😁😁😁😁

L.Staff don't seem to have any personal camping experience so have no idea of the differing needs of campers for different sites. Picture a VW LT 35 (tall and narrow) being told to park on a dangerously slopping site prone to high wind gusts. They didn't even understand that vans (even lovely ones like ours) don't generally have stabilizers and site access was also dangerous...we weren't the only ones to refuse to park in an area suitable only for very small tents and no vehicles. Have stayed before in a excellent site with no problems at all.
K.Beach front spa cabin - simply superb. Can't beat watching the sunrise from your king size bed, then coffee on the deck outside!
And right next door to one of the best cafe/restaurants in the region - Blue Biyou. Check that out for delicious food and stunning views.
H.The best new and clean bathrooms we’ve encountered in any of New Zealand’s camping grounds. The fee of NZ$25/person/night is steep. The bathrooms and well equipped kitchen facilities make up for it. You are a short stroke from the beach and excellent coffee and ice cream.

K.This is a gigantic resort at its best landscape. Easy to park your car in your place right in front of the room. The room is well-functioned. There are a bedroom, bunk beds, sofa, tv, kitchen, electric stove, separated showering area and a toilet. Luckily, my room faces the beach. So, it's very refreshing. At night, I can take a Milky Way shot right in front of my room! Brilliant!

M.Reasonable holiday park, units are a bit dated but nice place to stay. Papamoa beach is awesome and hard to beat so location of holiday park is great. Probably a bit of a stretch to have the name 'resort' as it's a typical Kiwi campsite / holiday park. Would happily stay again though.

C.Great campground. Good facilities, great beach access near the flags. Pretty standard campground for these days. No pool, has spa for hire. Variety of accommodation on offer. Baby bath with a shower head in the women's loos. Not sure if the men's or all shower blocks have them. Definitely at least one on site! One pin access per site for one car. A few caravan traders on site or nearby (Coffee, burgers, Mr Whippy visits, fruit ice-cream). Good fish and chip shop across the road. Walking distance to Countdown and PAKn'SAVE. Couple of TV rooms and kitchen areas for campers

P.WOW.. the morning beach views are the highlight as you literally wake up, open the slide door and you step out onto your own private beach, the cabins are small and quaint but accommodating. This is a New Zealand destination must.
T.We stayed 6 nights in our caravan. I would rate it as one of the top camps I have ever stayed at. Amazing staff, excellent facilities and always clean.
S.The place was clean and tidy. There was only one thing. The jug, cups etc plus tea, coffee were above the fridge and lm in a wheelchair. Overall the staff were fantastic and really helped me.l would stay there again.
T.Yeah lots to do, big jumping pillow things like a cross between a trampoline and a bouncy castle without walls but shaped like a big pillow with the sides sloping gently down to the ground. Cabins well appointed and spacious group venue with kitchen and dining for a hundred or so people plus a foyer and an expansive balcony going round two sides of the top floor and, because the place is built into a hillside, access out to the elevated area leading out to the row of cabins and lawn overlooking the beach.

2nd time round I was charged the same for a non sea view site at the same rate as the previous sea view rate. (Price was $20)
3rd time round (with in 2 days) I was charged more for a non Seaview site ($25).
Price is not constant.
R.Staff was not so friendly: Don't book on the internet. (Makes them angry.) Facilities were very clean. Kitchen is very simple but big fridges, sink with everything to clean dishes, ovens, stoves, microwave, toaster. Enough space for your campervan, and a tent. Internet is capped to 250mb and you won't get more for additional nights.

M.Best time ever. I just loved it. The villa I booked came with the Best view. Beach was the perfect back drop and beautiful at night. Had loads of fun. Perfect service everything I needed was provided. Bay park up the rd so gals and guys or family and friends who are into cars and all sorts that bay parks got on offer u won't be disappointed. Try there restaurant there next papamoa amazing. Or enjoy the amenities near by. Convenient. Love the gift shops there brought a lot. Go fishing too etc I enjoyed it. I'm gonna be back again no doubt. Love!!! P.s try the massage packages soo worth it. 😊

R.Great site. Parking limited but there are spaces for motor homes dotted along the beach. We came in expecting day trippers to be parking in them but found them free. Our 11m motor home Crocalua fitted in nicely. Thanks Tauranga council.

S.Beautiful and clean place .the only problem it's the location of showers little bit far from the place and when it's cold its difficult . One more thing in the kitchen no equipment like plates,forks so you must bring in all with you..
J.Quite convienant that this place here papamoa beach resort has a toilet facility just near and also its a nice place to take a swim in the summer time or go shell collecting in the winter time. The parking here on papamoa beach resort sometimes can actually be quite somewhat limited at peaker hours of the day time depending on also what time of the year and also on what time of the season it is in the year.

S.Stayed here for 2 nights in the Deluxe Holiday Unit. Room wise pretty basic with everything u mite need in a room. View from room....top notch !! The whole Papamoa Beach is for u !! Soothing sea waves' sound always humming in the background. Nice lawn in front of the room for kids to play. Only turn off is no room service and free wifi is just 1GB for max 7 days...once u consume 1GB u will have to buy more. But I wud still recommend this place to stay if in Tauranga region.
