R.Although myself and my boyfriend did not stay here, we intended to but there had been a mix up in the booking with trip.com. The weekend manager was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us find somewhere to stay. :) She was on the phone to many different places and not only that she called her friend asking her to give us a ride to Waikanae because there was a room available there at another hotel. She knew that it was going to take us some time catching a bus and train which was our alternative. Thank you so much for your kindness helping two strangers out and going above and beyond your call of duty. :)
M.Felt like this property had been zoomed in from the 1980's - decor is dated and in need of some loving. Rooms were very clean and tidy and the bed was comfy - they just need some loving and a little money spent on them...

K.Stayed here for 2 weeks travelling from Auckland for work training. Cant say anything wrong about this place. The gentleman on the front desk was a superstar. He was so helpful the entire 2 weeks, my room was cleaned daily. You have everything you need near and inside the room, there was no need for me to have a car and travel. Bed was comfy, shower was what was needed after a long day at work. Beach is 2 minutes away so would be perfect place to stay in summer and the shops are on the next street over so basics from four square and fish n chips were right there for my convenience. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, will definitely be back with my tribe. Kath Room 11
D.Good service, friendly management with nice rooms which are slowly being updated. Surprising how the top floor had 3 single beds so can cater to larger families. Minor issue with some tenants who did not respect those around them however this can happen from time to time with ferals. This is out of the influence of the motel owners and management.
G.Comfortable older style motel handy to beach and launch site for Kapiti Island tours. Could improve shower by providing separate facility rather than over bath. Needs handles over bath for safer entry and exit.

P.Excellent location being only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, and the bus stop literally right outside the entry-way was a welcome bonus - buses are scheduled to connect with train to/from Wellington. Owners Frank and Zoe warm and friendly with great suggestions on local eateries (spoilt for choice and quality), and tourist attractions. Our studio room was spotless, and sunny and the upstairs balcony delightful to relax over a glass of wine. Enjoyed the experience of Wrights by the Sea so much, have booked again for same time next year. Great value for money.
J.Helpful and friendly Staff, Have everything you need. Apartments clean. Double bed was ok comfort wise single was like sleeping in a hammock LOL. Was a little noisy from tenants upstairs at night not sure what they were doing at midnight but guess anytime is as good as any to move some furniture around :D
s.Great location close to the beach, close to shops and just minutes away from the Coastlands mall. Easy check in, quite tidy. Offers iron but no ironing board, blow dryer provided but only cool air. The noise level was beyond ridiculous. You could hear everything from the room above even when they opened the sliding and used the bathroom. The noise from street was quite loud as well. Most likely wouldn't stay again.

T.The service was amazing! Booking was easy, check in was flexible, and every now and then the room was refreshed. They even did our dishes! Above and beyond! It’s got wifi, sky tv, washing facilities, and it’s super close to cafes and the water. Perfect place!
W.Location, location, location this place puts you next to the beach, The beach shops cafes and restaurants. Perfect for the kapiti lsland tour as well as across the road from the Paraparumu Golf course and Airport only just down the road. Definitely recommend.
D.Excellent motels to stay in. We had a studio and it was very comfortable, quiet ,exceptionally clean and well laid out with excellent facilities. . The staff were super friendly and helpful assisting us with our travel plans . We are very impressed with the high quality and great value and we highly recommend Wrights by the Sea Motels.
B.Stayed here Wednesday 30th December 2015. Absolutely amazing staff, very friendly and accommodating gave us a fantastic price which was greatly appreciated. Lovely big family room our girls loved sleeping upstairs. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.
C.Was clean and comfortable. Not pleased to see a dog left in a car in the carpark the whole time we were there - assume they must be long term residents but not a nice look.
B.Units are nice and clean and great location 2 mins from the beach. No extra amenities such as pool etc but you get what you pay for and the owner / managers are delightful to deal with. Also comfortable beds and unlimited fast internet for the whole family a bonus.

G.Very courteous and helpful management. Very handy to shops, Saturday market and beach. Kapiti Island ferry nearby. Easy access to the new motorway. Rooms are fully equipped.
K.Average New Zealand Motel, e.g. average NZ Motels have a good standard. Ideal for people who want to cook in the facilities and bring the whole family along. Ideal for up to 5 people. Plenty of space usually provided in NZ Motels.

W.Perfect location. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
