s.Very nice motel just off the motorway at Porirua. Not to be judgemental but definitely did not expect a motel like this in that part of Wellington.
s.Clean, spacious rooms with all amenities. CCTV monitored and easy to park in front of the room. Superb location close to shopping centre and restaurants. Friendly staff. Avoid driving during traffic hours, it gets very hectic around the area.
C.Travelling back to Hawkes Bay after attending a funeral and stayed one night.
The room was clean and tidy, was a bit worried about making breakfast the next day, as I noted the wording around smells in the room. Only let down was they didn't have Sky, but hey it was only one night. Also accessible to the city centre.

I.We were very impressed with the cleaning standard. Spotless shower box. We went to the reception to ask what cleaning products They are using. This lodge is under new management, Helen is super friendly. Very well looked after place. We'll definitely stay again.

J.This is the cleanest place I have stayed in. From the time we got out of the car till the time we left the service was great, they fell over backwards to be helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone that is going to Wellington. If I could give it more stars I would. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

A.I stayed here during CV19 Level 2. When I booked I was told that due to the contactless environment at the moment I would be given a room number and told that the key and receipt would be inside the room. I arrived to a warm clean comfortable modern room with a lazy boy. During the day my room was cleaned to a high standard. I noticed now excessive noise from the nearby roundabout. I'm just a little sad I never got to meet the staff!

C.Absolutely loved our short stay here. Rooms are very clean. It had everything we needed. The bathroom is nice and clean which is very important to us. Beds are nice, clean and comfortable. Best accommodation we've stayed in all of New Zealand! Would highly recommend this place. We know where to stay next time we are in Wellington. Staff were very friendly as well.

M.While the accommodation is top notch we felt we the Managing crew were monitoring us very closely throughout our stay. We were even accused of being disrespectful to others staying here. It almost felt racist. I will tell our company to stop using them in the future which is a shame because the facilities are excellent.

D.No idea why so many trolls want to attack such a great place to stay?!?! Me and my partner didn't have any problems with the 2 nights we stayed and our room was even left open for us as we arrived at 2am due to coming in from Australia! Front desk service is great and very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable and stress free

The guest information about what u can and can't cook in the room made me nervous ... But apart from that ... No complaint !
S.The motel itself was very nice and clean. Rooms were great. But don’t believe the free wi-fi....it is limited to 1000mb per room or log in.....if you need to do business using wi-fi or are planning to stay for a long time, it really isn’t acceptable in today’s lifestyle. Wi-fi is a necessity these days and free wi-fi, should mean just that....for your whole stay....
B.We stayed here on our way back from Auckland. The Belmont Motor Lodge is a lovely, clean, tidy and very welcoming place to stay. It's conveniently located off the highway and just a quick easy drive to the ferry terminal. The room was super clean and the wee tea set was so nice. We will making the Belmont a permanent stop when driving back and forth from the South Island to Auckland.
N.It's a motel nothing special serves the person. Good location on the side of SH1 about 20mins from WN.
Definitely not somewhere you want to stop in a truck & trailer unit, no matter how much your office staff say it's fine, it's not.

l.i travel for work and stayed here one night- only one complaint, thats the no indian takeaways allowed in the room. i booked this motel because it was on the same drive as an indian restaurant that does takeaways... apart from that happy as :)
B.I have stayed at this motel many times over the last few years, and I can honestly say it is warm comfortable, very clean, very spacious, hand to Wellington and has the most friendly and helpful hosts.
I will continue to use Belmont for my future trips to Wellington and would thoroughly recommend the Belmont Motor Lodge to anyone who wants luxury at a very affordable price.
