Brand spanking new hotel so amazingly clean. no heaters or aircon installed though, when we asked about it they gave us a space heater which took about 2 hours to adequately clean the room. the elevator makes a hell of a racket and wakes you up in the middle of the night.

Loved staying here! The staff were very welcoming and helpful when I couldn’t get the tv working (turns out the remote needed new batteries, issue was resolved straight away!) The room was spacious and clean, the decor is minimalist and sleek which looks great. Stayed here 3 nights whilst visiting friends and I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Will definitely be returning at some point in the future! Thanks for a great stay!!

Kia ora, What Kind of Trip? Sports: I booked in for Saturday night, Porirua Grand Traverse Event was Sunday so preparing the course all day Saturday for Sunday event, I received a text message from the hotel receptionist informing me that the doors are closed 24/7 & reception close 7pm & I have to ring to be let in, I was busy at the sports venue so I decide to run to the hotel pick the key up & run back to the sport venue. The hotel room/kitchen nice & clean I was on L3, I open windows to air I had no problem with Lift not working, I don't no how many times I ran/walked up & down those stairs good exercise for me. Few hours I was there, I loved it, close to EVERYTHING!! If I missed out on car park, so be it..I was too stuffed to notice any noise (if any) :) as my Sunday morning started at 7am - Thank you Casey & staff -

The customer service was excellent. The rooms were immaculately dressed. The kitchen had top quality appliances. The beds were super comfy. What I observed that needs improvement is the cold draft coming through the single glazed windows. We were placed on the side where F45 fitness had their very early morning classes from 5am onwards and there was alot of thoroughfare and noise. I appreciate the ear plugs given to drown out the noise. The bathroom sink nozzle should be rotational as you couldn't really place your head in the sink basin and only partially. There needs to be more carparking space available and the elevator is noisy and needs fixing. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay 👍👍👍

Tastefully decorated, modern and clean apartment. Perfect location to restaurants and all things shopping. Staff were super friendly and willing to assist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Post Hotel.

Better than anticipated, worth the price you pay. Second time to stay. The inside is cosy enough. Quite a simple modern place, 4* because of room location right outside the main floor door which can be quite noisy. I'd recommend as no hiccups with bookings etc. Receptionist friendly, keep up the great work.

Facilities are modern clean and better than you'd expect for the price. Big downside is single glazed windows overlooking busy commercial area. Incredibly noisy.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Post Hotel again over Waitangi Day. As in my review from last year, everything was fantastic - from the front of house to the Queen Room accommodation. Glad to see the top-notch service is still going strong. The Post Hotel is in the perfect location for visitors to Porirua. With the North City Mall, Te Rauparaha Arena and Pātaka Art Gallery a short couple of minutes walk, you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of Porirua. The Post Hotel boasts the very BEST hotel internet connection I've ever encountered in my travels. With a WIFI speed of 230mbs download and 130mbs upload, I was actually able to livestream some video games from the comfort of my Queen bed with no problems. Danielle and the team at The Post Hotel always provide a fantastic, relaxing stay for myself and the Arepa Gamers Club. The Post Hotel is my go-to whenever I'm in Porirua. Highly recommended. 11/10

a little hard to locate the gps lead us to a car park and we had trouble seeing the small sign so had to call the hotel for directions though once we located it we were very pleased with the service and the nice modern room and the price was reasonable also its well located , central to all the fast food joints and shops we will stay again

Really loved the cleanliness and modern room. Could do with a bit more soundproofing and a night attendant but otherwise great.

Remember to set you watch back on check in, to the 70's. Hasn't been 'done up' since then, by the look of it. Owner is a laugh.

Finding the hotel entrance is quite difficult, and it isn't very flash to look at from the outside, but the people are very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.
