L.Great value with 10 minute walk to town and stunning views in the lakeside rooms. As a family of 6 we had 2 rooms over 2 different stays. One of the 4 rooms needed updating but all was clean and fresh. Friendly welcome from Steve and warm service. Thank you team. We will be back.

E.We booked this accommodation months ago not knowing anything about it and we have loved our stay here. The people who run it are caring and attentive and have made us feel incredibly welcomed. The bus to The Remarkables is right outside the front door and it is only a short walk to town. We have been so happy with our stay here and would highly recommend it. Without a doubt the view is the greatest part and have loved watching the sun rise and set here everyday. Thank you.

G.The view here is absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean, everything is fine apart from our toilet light going out on night 1 but will 100% come back just to look at the morning view!

M.My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at Earnslaw Lodge. Owners Steve and Vicki were lovely and welcoming and full of local knowledge!
The location is handy for walking into the centre of town within 10mins, and far enough away to not get stuck in traffic.
Although it’s close to the main highway, there is minimal noise when windows and doors are closed. This is also convenient for bus stops!
The lodge is very close to the lake, with wonderful views of surrounding mountains.
T.This lodge is quiet, with spacious rooms and absolutely amazing views from the rooms on the lake side. The heating is awesome after long days outside. The internal decor may be slightly dated, though I did not go to Queenstown to sit in a room with shiny new fittings. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly cleaned daily. The hosts are great, with the usual New Zealand friendliness that seems to personify the country as a whole. I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time in Queenstown and at Earnslaw. 🙏 Thanks Steve.
A.We had a lake facing room (I believe all rooms there face the lake) - and we loved the view. The room was nice- it was not as well maintained as you will find in Hotels- but it was pretty good compared to other motels in NZ and Aus.

B.We enjoyed our stay at Earnslaw Lodge. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can buy breakfast at a reasonable price and it's very good. The rooms are clean and quiet, though a little outdated. It's a short 10 minute walk to town, but well worth the views and pleasant staff!

C.Stunning Lake Wakitipu views and lovely balcony overlooking Queenstown. This place is more like a large efficiency apartment with dining and living area. Very nice breakfast option for I believe $20 per person if you choose. It's about 20 minutes walk into the main dining and shopping area of downtown

R.Awesome views, friendly service, good location, nice rooms. Given the location it's a great deal and it's a great place to stay. Easy walk into town, and easy to direct taxis/shuttles to. Only downside would be the lack of free Wifi, but that's typical for places in this location and price-range. Recommended.
N.Good safe, warm place to stay. You can catch the bus from the airport here for $2. Then it's a short 10 minute walk to town. Great hosts, friendly and helpful.
D.Breathtaking scenery from our big lake-view room. Thank you to the very friendly and helpful host (Vicky) who gladly assisted us in pointing the way to the town center and to Arrowtown and gave us pointers to the best places to see. Excellent customer service. Will definitely stay in Earnslaw Lodge again when I go back to Queenstown.
E.Lucky to be a 3 star motel, however it was warm, clean and the queen bed comfy. Its right on the main road and traffic noise was quite low.
R.Earnslaw Lodge was fantastic! Beautiful view, great services, comfortable beds and even parking; the only downside was the lack of a power outlet in the bathroom and also no dishwashing liquid to wash plates. Other than that, I will definitely be coming back!
F.The rooms were spacious and had a great view of the beautiful lake and mountain view. The manager was also very helpful to our needs and gave us good advices on the places around queenstown.
