We have stayed in Queenstown area many times and this is our new favorite place! I had one of the best facials by Lorene. So relaxing, tranquil and great products. The staff were lovely and made things as easy as. The wonderful wine tasting by Lee is a must! I left a belonging upon checkout and they are even mailing it to me. Simply the best! Thank you Gibbston Lodge and Spa! We will be back.

Our stay at Gibbston was impeccable - from the prompt pick up service, the fun day biking, the evening wine tasting and private vineyard tour/tasting and not to mention the STUNNING accommodation! Every single staff member we interacted with was 10/10 - Dipesh, Ann, Lee, Rachel, Eric and Chris to name a few were just incredible and their personal, down to earth and passionate nature totally made our holiday! If I could rate our stay and the entire weekend higher, I would! I’ve stayed at some high end and lovely places all over the world and I must say our experience at Gibbston is right up there - top class yet super down to earth :)

5 star experience for everything from the villa, the food, the service, the facilities to the wine tasting experience. The croissants offered at the breakfast is one of the best we have had in NZ. The theater room is so cool. Staff are all very nice.

Such an amazing time. The wine tasting run by Bre was so much fun. The octopus was delish. A phenomenal massage nga mihi to Lauren. The cabins have everything everything needed. I wish we could stay for a week or more! Oh and did I mention the wine. Mwaaaah

Had an awesome time at Gibbston Valley Winery! The wine was delicious, the cave was awesome, and, best of all, the service provided by Bindy was second to none. Could not recommend more!

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Lodge and we cannot stop talking about what an incredible experience it was. The villas are so spacious and truly felt like home. The spa was world class and we had the most relaxing indulgent experiences there. The food and the wine of course was memorable and delicious. We loved it so much and cannot wait to return. A big shout out to Andrew and Jeremy in particular as they were so generous and kind and made us feel extra extra special. Keep up the good work team :)

Amazing experience at the Gibbston Valley Lodge. Our lodge was tastefully decorated to the smallest details, had a nice patio with a view on the vinyards and mountains where we had our wine and cheese we purchased at the cheesery. We took advantage of the spa pool and sauna and would totally recommend them - we went at around 9pm and the colors in the sky were beautiful. The sauna had not been turned on just early enough to be as hot as we wanted, but we didn’t mind too much as the spa pool was a pretty good treat. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, the breakfast/dining rooms have an amazing interior design that will make your time there even more pleasant. Lastly the staff was incredible! From Felicity at reception who made sure we had the most out of our night at the Lodge, to Alex at the wine tasting (in the cellar!!) who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, to the waiting staff at breakfast who treated us before we checked out. We hope to be back soon!

We spent our honeymoon here and it was sublime. The chalets were stunning with so much room and high-quality furnishings. We felt very spoilt. The food and wine at the restaurant were delicious and we'd love to come back and would recommend. Would like to thank the whole team for making our stay so memorable. Max and Jen

What an incredible experience! Easily one of the best places I've stayed at, with service that is unparalleled. Do yourself a favour and stay for a few days - enjoy a massage, join the wine tasting, and sample the amazing food at the restaurant. Definitely coming back!

Still 10 stars for accomm and location but first time i used spa....wow..what a find. Best manicure ever. Such a beautiful spot..and.....unlimited bubbles 🙄. Again ..I dont want to go home....top tip ..book in early for spa treatments 💚

WOW. Everything about Gibston Valley Lodge and Spa is a 5 star experience. The villas are beautiful, tastefully decorated and all have stunning views over the vines and mountains. The restaurant serves michelin star quality food and the chef deserves a star or two, the waiting staff are awesome and Bronson inparticular made us feel incredibly important. Alex and Emily who took the wine tastings are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining and passionate about their roles at Gibston Valley. Also Ebikes are available here to allow you to go wine tasting around the valley and the staff are more than happy to make recommendations about which wineries to visit. Gibston Valley Lodge and Spa is a Destination all of its own and we will be back.

Had a 4 night stay for a celebration with 8 couples and absolutely loved it. The accommodation is terrific - restaurants great and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. Would recommend it to anybody.

We just stopped and got some cheese & the MOST amazing cheese scones ever! They are worth stopping for!!!! Really lovely place!

Just book! Gibbston Valley Lodge and Spa is a fabulous new addition to the luxury Lodge scene in Queenstown. If you’re thinking of celebrating a special occasion alone or with a group, or simply wanting romantic getaway, this is just the spot. Situated in the Gibbston Valley vineyard this is a gorgeous place to unwind and enjoy the local activities. It has a wonderful relaxed vibe where it’s all about comfort and feeling at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating which adds to a great stay experience. The Villas are very arge with a luxury feel, an open fire place and an enormous bathroom. Our villa had a sunny courtyard patio that opened onto a stream and the vines. For breakfast a small buffet and / or cooked options are available. Dinner is a full menu and lovely if you fancy a quiet night at the lodge otherwise head into Arrowtown or Queenstown which are close by. If you don’t fancy driving, transport can easily be arranged. For lunch, the Gibbston Valley Winery and Restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend this for a long lunch. Be sure to ask the lodge to make a booking for you as it’s a popular spot. We recently enjoyed a fabulous 5 days there to host our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a group of 16 who all stayed at the lodge. Chris Hogan, the Manager, made the entire planning experience seamless. We celebrated our party in the private cellar feasting on a degustation menu and excellent wine. We’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay there again. We can’t wait to go back.
