C.It was a good place to stay if you want close to the city centre. Our room smelt if smoke and a few things were in a state of disrepair.
Beds and heating were excellent.
H.We are a family of four and enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location is perfect with garage car park provided. The view at the balcony is breath taking. It has all the amenities we needed - full sized kitchen, laundry and lounge.
The apartment is slightly seasoned so could use a bit of touch up. Hence its price is not as exorbitant as others in town.
T.Booked before checking reviews, then was a little worried, but was pleasantly surprised on arrival! Modern and very clean, great check-in service, brilliant views, huge apartments with all the bells and whistles. Car parking is a breeze - there are pillars to hold the building up, but easy to access with confidence. Toilet paper IS included, as is UHT milk with a shop 2 mins down the street. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry come packed full of condiments. Only gripe is TV quality is poor if you are used to digital high definition. Would recommend, and stay here again for sure!
S.Our apartment was clean with a great view, the staff was friendly, and the location was good.
Four star because my first impression was not great. Check-in is at the motel office which is pretty tired. However, the man at the front desk was very nice and welcoming.
The apartment was nicer, but could have used some TLC. The bathroom sink drips loudly, but easily silenced with a towel, and a drawer face was missing 🤔. The steps getting up to unit #8 were very steep.
All in all, I would recommend this place as the positives outweigh the small imperfections.
J.Really great for a family of 5. Clean tidy plenty of room and kitchen equipment was all there and excellent utensils. So handy to the township and amenities along the waterfront. Thoroughly recommended and would ho back again.

It’s a two storeys building with a 🌷sweet little garden 🌺and a 📸 beautiful lake view balcony. 🤩 Both rooms are warm and tidy. 💯 A bit rain when we first arrived but wonderful weather after that. 💯 Impressive Lake view on the balcony ,even from our diner table too❣️Take a closer look the wonderful lake view I took when my dad was taking pictures at the same time👇is it that beautiful?😍 I had a A+ poached eggs🥚 witn instant noddle by used the cooking ware Lakefront supplied. My lamb chops from supermarket just cooked perfectly what I loved. 🥩 Also I met the lovely Brazilian couple next day when they are clean up our room 😄 thanks for teach me a bit Portuguese. 👉bath tub 🛀 were clean , enjoyed the relaxing time 🛁 after dinner 😆 3 x wonderful days with my Family in Lakefront Apartment were not enough. 😍Definitely will visit again 🥰🥰🥰. A.Nice close flat walk to town also had parking. Heating was on when we arrived and apartment was nice and warm, Views good from other side of road. Dated decor and furnishing, no toilet paper or milk so had to buy our own. Also a heads up on having to go next door to Lakeside Apartments for check - ins no mention on booking info or emails recieved.
L.This place is in the perfect location, 2 mins flat walk to town, stunning views of the lake and mountains. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was a little tired which I suppose is to be expected of a rented property, it was very clean though, also beautifully warm and a really good size. There was plenty of room for four of us in a 2 bedroom apartment and the full kitchen and laundry facilities were a real bonus. Would stay again and recommend to others.
V.View from the apartment is amazing.
Good location with about a 5 minute walk to the centre.
The apartment we were on was on two floors. Upstairs (the front door to the apartment is on the upper floor) contains a utility room, a toilet, a well equipped kitchen, the living room and a balcony.
Downstairs, which is accessed via a narrow and quite steep set of stairs, are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom is at the front, but the view is blocked by the opposite building. The second bedroom, which has two single beds, has limited natural light. The area outside the window is lit 24 hours a day. The blinds in the bedroom do not adequately block out the light and curtains would be of benefit. More adequate powepoints would also be of benefit. Both beds have electric blankets on them, however there is no power supply near one of the beds.
I would recommend this accommodation for its location and outlook.
R.Con: The apartments have not been tended to since the 1980's so the decor is aged and looking tired. The carpet was stained and ripped and frayed around all the edges, the surface of the coffee table was badly chipped, the sofa cushions were stained and dirty. Pro: the shower was hot with good pressure, the beds were clean and comfortable, the bedrooms were large. The view from the balcony (also spacious) was really beautiful. The kitchen had everything you need including microwave oven, oven with stove top and dishwasher. The food prep utensils were on the cheap side, but surprisingly sharp. Overall, a four star motel that has slipped to 2.5 stars for lack of care.
G.The Lakefront Motel & Apartments have the ideal location if you are visiting Queenstown New Zealand as it is on the lakeside and less than four minutes walk into the centre of town. The motel units are large with a full kitchen that includes, full cooker with oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster plus all the necessary utensils. There is a dining table set in front of the large window with a lovely view of the lake through the trees. The TV only has a few channels but we didn't come to Queenstown to watch TV. The beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are staying more than a few days don't expect your room to be hovered every day. Having said that if I ever come back to Queenstown I would be more than happy to use this motel again, due to its size and location.
V.We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The parking is a bit tight and is for cars or AWD/4WD. If you plan to have an attachment on the roof of your AWD or 4WD it's best to call them before booking so you know for sure your car will fit in. There is ample street parking which is always full.
These apartments are situated next to Queenstown CBD so close to shops and restaurants. Opposite to the apartments is Lake Wakatipu. The view from the living room balcony is of The Remarkables and Cecile peak. The master bedroom (downstairs) also has a balcony which gives a view of the apartment building in front of the Lakefront property.
The apartment was clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. These apartments are all privately owned apartments so no two apartments will be the same from furnishing perspective. Our apartment unfortunately had a few issues and certainly did not give a 4 star feel. If I was to look only from a location and view perspective (living room only) yes I may rate it between 3.5 to 4 star.
The size of rooms is large and does not look congested. A toilet in laundry room is provided next to the enterance door. Washing machine and dryer has been provided. Powder can be purchased from reception. Kitchen had a dishwasher however overall needs updating. The electric stove gave a smell for a minute or two everytime we turned it ON. The exhaust worked but the light did not. The carpet overall looks worn out. In the living room balcony 3 outdoor plastic chairs were provided but no table. The chairs were not clean or had stains on it, either way simply did not touch them.
The bedrooms are large. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom downstairs is common between the two bedrooms. It had a bath with a shower combination plus toilet. The exhaust fan did not work plus one of the folding shower screens was broken.
The bathroom was provided with 5 soaps and shampoo satchels which is rear and was a positive.
Overall the apartment we lived in needs a bit of renovation. The owners of this apartment should be replacing the carpet, repair scratches and holes in wall, update the kitchen, replace balcony chairs and provide a small foldable table.
I discussed these issues with the onsite manager who was friendly and understanding.
Not sure if all apartments are in a similar state or not but I wouldn't rate this as a 4 star apartment based on the issues we saw and price we paid. Plus the master bedroom balcony has no view which is not specified in the advertisement atleast and was a disappointment.
The apartment we stayed in can certainly be worth 4 star once renovation is carried out and the advertisement clearly says bedroom balcony view is obstructed by the hotel in front of this apartment.
Every traveller has a different set of requirements so please don't just disregard this property. Work it out if these issues matter to you or not and the expectations you have. Speak to reception frankly and they will assist. The apartments are in walking distance to the Queenstown CBD.

R.Place shows signs of age and leakage. Was warm and cozy with great view. Stairs inside room not for the faint hearted or elderly. Comfortable.
S.Some of the rooms have really old washrooms. There's a separate tap for hot and cold water which doesn't make sense in a sink as people would need lukewarm water to wash their hands.
A.We were staying here when in town. Location is close enough to city centre and scenery was incredible awesome. This might best hotel we stayed during this our NZ trip, though quite pricey. We got apartment with 2 bedrooms for about ~450NZ$. Overal, worth paid to stay.

S.Absolutely loved this place especially the view and the outstanding bathroom we had the only downside was my room was cold didn’t have sunlight but there were electric blanket and heaters which made up for it but can’t wait to come back again
