Y.Very conveniently located. I enjoyed the gym (access to fresh air) unlike many hotel gyms with no access to fresh air due to its location. They have a good sauna too. Unfortunately, the spa pool could not be used due to covid restrictions. Definitely will be back again.👍👍
L.Facilities and all amenities was certainly upto the mark. I have given four stars only because they lacked attention to detail. We booked for a family room. We were a family of three with two adults and one child. However they only had two mugs for complimentary tea and coffee. Little things to matter. Hence the four star
Z.Clean room, nice new bathroom!! Room was way bigger than expected! Bed was very uncomfortable as it was two king singles pushed together to make a king! Air conditioning broke on our 2nd night which made it extremely hard to sleep!

J.Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to the Covid level 4 lock down this week. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly checking to ensure we had all we needed. Excellent example of implementation of Covid controls and clear conscience communication to let us know what was happening. Thank you Millennium we will be back.

B.We had a fantastic 3 night stay here, service was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable, price in November was very cheap for the huge room we were given. Breakfast food and service excellent. Staff super friendly, cheap and easy parking. Yep it’s not super modern but they are making improvements. Perfect walking distance to town. Will visit again.
H.Visited Queenstown first time, property was good with great service. Near to Queenstown cbd. Nice view from some rooms. Breakfast was also good and the staff was so cooperative that they allowed us to checkout late without any extra charges😀🤩 The tv in the room was smart but impossible to connect with phone or to use browser on it.

G.Fast and easy check in. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. The carpark is worth the 10 dollars per night. Its underground and they give you a pass to keep in the car. Dinner was delicious which you can have in the bar or in your room. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The only fault I have is there is no plug socket next to the bed.
M.It is showing some age but rooms were nice sized and location was good. Would not recommend it for the views as the main floor is level 3 and if you cannot get a room on level 3 or up there is not much to see but you can go outside and see great things. I was on level 3 so view wasn't too bad. Has a safe and hair dryer. There are clothing wash and dryers or leave laundry in bag by 8 am and for $20 it will be washed and folded and in your room by 5 pm.

C.This was a perfect location for walking distance from the downtown area. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about the evening reception staff who walked me through some difficult paperwork concerning the death of my father back home in Seattle. I cannot thank them enough. They were so personable and helpful.
This hotel also has so many amenities you wouldn't have to leave the building if you didn't want to. They have a wonderful restaurant for any meal of the day.
G.Comfortable accommodation, great staff. Strongly recommend request a room that looks over the internal garden (rather than the road or carpark). Secure parking was a bonus. Good location - walking distance to Queenstown centre.
A.Our room 221 was large. Enough space to move around.
Beds are small though for two.
Choice of tea and coffee is great.
Restroom is very spacious and with all amenities.
TV in the room is excellent.
Plenty of natural light and lots of bulbs inside too. Room gets really bright.
People at the reception are amazing and very accommodating. We arrived way too early in the morning and Mancy fit us in an available room. Thank you.

j.What made this hotel different from the others I’ve stayed at on tour was that it had a non slip shower mat provided. This was really helpful for my parents. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t find fault in it.
If I could make one suggestion, a darker facecloth in the rooms for makeup removal like in some other hotels and motels. I felt bad marking the beautiful white facecloths.
D.Wonderful hotel! Friendly and efficient staff! Enjoyed staying here for 4 days in Queenstown! The walk to town is downhill and the walk up is breathing taking- both literally & physically! The hotel has a shuttle service. Nice driver! Takes you downtown on the hour. Easy covered dropoff downtown and then walk straight through to wonderful shops and restaurants! We love Queenstown!
S.All the staff we met were lovely and really helpful. Room was a decent size and the bed really comfy. Internal room = no noise.
Only niggles were that the shower was a bit dated and we needed easily accessible plugs by the bed. Nothing major.
Had the buffet breakfast once - had a good range of food.
Close to town, but the walk up the hill on the way back may tire some people out. There's a free shuttle bus to/from the hotel that runs once an hour until 9pm.
S.A nice hotel with hundreds of rooms. In the middle of the hotel they have a nice flush garden as well. Rooms are sufficiently spacious and amenities also adequate.
Located in a prime area of Queenstown which is crowded with number of hotels. Further it is located near to the main road to the city as well. They have a under ground parking space as well.
J.The staff at the front desk, and dining room, were very friendly and helpful. There were two things we were not happy about, first we asked if they had a room for three nights, which they did, and we asked the price, which we felt was acceptable. We stayed the three nights, and when we checked out we found that we were charged a different price for every night. Their explanation was they get a different price for every night based on occupancy. If you reserve a room for more than one night there be advised the rate you get charged might be much different than you expected. The other thing was the room temp. If the thermostate was not turned all the way down you had heat, there was no temp control...full heat, or cool.
T.Great locationonly 15 mins walking at a slow pace to town. Our room was well appointed and faced the courtyard blooming with spring flowers. I was exceptionally impressed happy with the hospitality that Kevin, ***ager, had shown us. Taxi fare reasonable. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.
G.We spent three nights here and found it quite comfortable. dinning and breakfast was first class. layout of hotel had quite long corridors so difficult for the less able. Hotel is situated Uphill from the town, but have a complimentary bus to take and bring you back. Queenstown is delightful.
A.Amazing receptionist. Such a good welcome! Requested a room with a view and they did their best to give me that! I definitely return there on my next trip to queenstown! Nice staff at the bar as well however my loaded fries bacon was tasting quite odd.
5.Perfectly lovely hotel experience! Very comfortable room, more than adequate, quick elevator service. Lovely buffet breakfast, welcoming lounge, we did not have dinner in hotel dining room. Staff at all levels friendly and helpful! 👍👍
D.The room was clean and comfortable though it could have been laid out better. The room could also use a wee freshen up but the bed was extremely comfortable. I'm also not a fan of a shower over bath, issue if you have mobility problems.
Well it's only a short distance from town it does sit on a hill so again if you have health / mobility issues it's not an easy walk (If you like to walk)
They do offer a (free) shuttle service every hour though.
The pre-booked $20 buffet breakfast was ok. I found that the items I enjoy were all mostly well over cooked.
A.Sad to say I wouldn't stay here again!! booking an executive suite at 400 a night for 3 nights you would like to think it would at least be in working order, if not better. But, the only thing great about this place/room was the house keeping! The cleaners deserve a pay rise! ASAP! They do a great job in this room but spa bath didn't work and when asking front desk what we could do about it the only option was a refund of 50 per night because the other rooms spa didn't work either so changing rooms wouldn't make a difference. Front desk was as helpful as they could be and it was great that they checked if the other rooms spa was working or not before moving us unnecessarily. So 3 stars for front desk and house keeping. Missing two stars for management NOT spending $$$ where required for maintenance and updates. Old and worn down seems to be a trend in QT so far so go for a fresh new business and you'll be better off.
L.Stayed for 2 nights. The check-in process was smooth. The room was good, except for the shower setting - a bit old style.
The location was good even located on the hill. We used the free shuttle bus which was convenient. The breakfast was great with good service at the restaurant.
The staff were friendly, especially the concierge named "Parabesh" was very helpful. Thank you Parabesh for your help and smile. 😊

J.Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Located about a 7 minute walk away from the town's square and a 3 minute walk to the scenic lake Wakatipu. Easy accessibility and great service staff
M.Very comfortable rooms. Large bathrooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Ten minute walk to the centre of Queenstown. Bit of a steep walk back might be an issue for people with mobility issues.
M.We checked in early and they upgraded the room - which was nice, but we didnt care for it much because it was along the noisy highway and the bathroom was off a separate room, which seemed odd. Big suite but smallish bathroom. Still, it was very clean and near the gardens and town centre.

The hotel hotel does receive large groups. When we were there one of them was very noisy and loud. Not necessarily the hotels fault but something to know when booking that this might happen.
T.Good location, 10 minute walk to town and bus pickup out the front to the snow fields. Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a beautiful suite. The staff were exceptional as were the facilities. Hotel was expensive, pay guest parking, but we understand that with the town full everyone wants top dollar.
A.Spent 3 nights here. We had the junior suite and the room was comfortable and had a large outdoor deck area. The decor is definitely a bit tired and could benefit from an update. Also if you book the junior suite and are lucky enough to receive room 501 just be aware that there is constant banging from the elevators that are right next door.
S.Such a nice place to stay! Reasonably priced, friendly staff and close enough to walk to the main part of town. The rooms are a little outdated, but everything is very clean and we had absolutely no maintenance issues. Having free access to a spa and drying room is a bonus! Thanks Millenium Hotel, we’ll definitely be back!
B.A little dated. It seemed like the car park might get a bit full. It seems like they cater mostly to big bus tours of various types, so if you're reading this, you might feel out of place. On the other hand, it was a good price, the bed was comfortablr and it was an easy walk downtown. I'd definitely stay here again if needed, though I might try other hotels first.
L.WiFi SUCK! They charge for parking fee. We requested a room for 3 person and they just added an extra bed to a double bed room. The bed is comfortable. They staff are nice and friendly. But I am more impressed with other Hostels and Airbnb we stayed in prior to this hotel, they got their WiFi right, free parking, free breakfast and free snack! Comparing to this hotel and the price is even more than Hostel or Airbnb you won't get much when you spend more. So it suck!

M.I stayed 3 nights here, first night I got a room facing the street on level 2 which was super noisy and I'm a very light sleeper, next day I went to ask for a different room explaining it was too loud and asked for a quiet room. I got a room on the 4th floor just by the balcony which was facing the courtyard - so it was quieter indeed but it was next to some laundry or facility room and I had constant noise from there plus the dining room as someone decided to start playing the piano at 11pm. Not sure what sort of premium u have to pay to get a decent quiet room but I got better service for less in other places and this place didn't cost me cheap. Please improve. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable size with plenty of towels so the noise knocked two stars off my review.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Easy walk into town centre with all the activities and restaurants, uphill walk back but hotel shuttle available if required hourly.

D.The Millennium hotel is a beautiful hotel perfectly situated to access the Queenstown centre. Quaint, well-appointed rooms with lovely staff. The courtesy shuttle is very helpful. Overall a great place to stay!
A.Nice rooms and friendly staff, small trek to town but there is a courtesy van. I would have said 5 stars, but the wifi isn't free - isn't that standard these days? Sure it's only $5, but for the sake of goodwill, just make it complimentary!
M.Really nice hotel. Very comfortable with large rooms. A short walk and you'll find yourself on the bay where you can take jetboat rides ($55). Winterfest starting and the place is vibrant with live music.
D.I stayed for 10 days between conference and R&R - the service was great with clean rooms with plenty towels and comfy beds. Appreciated the blackout drapes for when I wanted to sleep in. Only gripe is with the room service and the repeated hanging of plastic bag full of extra non-needed towels and amenities which continued despite trying to tell reception about it after the first time. If you're a fan of a clean towel with every shower, you're in for a treat... Otherwise unsure why all the towelage is needed. Great place though and I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Queenstown. Main attractions and eateries are also a 5-10 minute stroll down the hill, so consider that if you have mobility issues.

N.It's a nice place located at the heart of the city. The rooms are really great. Guest service is on point. Complimentary breakfast included. Overall a good hotel.
A.The Junior Suite is worth every penny-- large soak tub, king bed with French doors to the bedroom, and a giant deck overlooking the gondola and lake. The hotel also has a complimentary indoor hot tub, dry sauna, and gym. The location a little difficult to get back to after a day of activities as it is located up and around the hill from downtown. There may have been a shuttle but it was not offered to me.
L.Rooms need updating as very dated. Was told to park on street as no parking available, although I had booked months ago, disappointing. After complaining we were given back park. Shower over bath not ideal, especially for elderly.

P.Queenstown is a super nice place and Millennium Hotel is no exception, it is a little dated and could do with a little bit of an upgrade that being said it has withstood the test of time well and the staff are absolutely fantastic. I for one can not wait to come back

M.Highly overpriced for such service as well as many other places in Queenstown. For such price you have to pay for the parking separately, internet in rooms is very restricted and very slow. Give it three stars just because there's no 2.5 stars.

T.Central location close to Queenstown city and facilitated by hourly shuttle. We self catered for breakfast; there's a couple of supermarkets in Queenstown so it's not difficult to do. There's bus stop right out the front if you don't hire a car and given there were skiers waiting for the bus everyday, it obviously goes to the skifield.

H.I stayed for a conference in Queenstown. The location was fine with a short walk to the city and along the road to the airport, although it was on a hill. The rooms were undecidedly average for the price. Mine was dark and one downlight was not working. I did not have the breakfast which was $20NZD if prebooked. There is no free WiFi.
K.Edit: The front desk staff are great. If you have any trouble talk with them about it. The second floor rooms are noisy, especially if you face the street. The second room we got was perfectly fine.

A.Everything is great with the exception of the WiFi limits. Only time I encountered that at an accommodation in New Zealand. Also stayed in places in the bush with more channels and better picture quality.
A.Clean comfortable rooms, good Buffett breakfast and nice staff. 10am check out is way to early, 11am should be the time at least.

A.We stopped at this hotel as part of our coach touring holiday in New Zealand, the hotel is ideally situated for visiting town centre & attractions, staff really friendly, free shuttle bus to town & back, we had a grill meal deal in hotel one evening steak was lovely, another night we had fish & chips which were just mediocre, plenty of selection for breakfast, some cooked breakfast items were cold & not the best quality, rooms were roomy & adequate, bathroom in our room needs to be updated (looking very old & tired)
