S.Great location, easy walk down into town. Tent sites are good size, kitchen and dining facilities good, clean and spacious. Laundry room is awesome, good to see newer machines. Staff that I encountered were friendly, but seemed under the pump, on check in only one person was there and she needed to close the reception to help someone. More staff would have stopped having to close reception at a busy check in time. Overall not a bad spot to stay
O.Nice place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of EVERYTHING just minutes walk away. Beautiful views from the balcony! Staff awesomely friendly and knowledgeable of activities to do. A star removed because we were placed in an upstairs room even with a 2yr old on our booking form. A little bit scary, thankfully he was more interested in playing with the latch to keep the door open than pushing chairs to the edge and having a look
C.Cabins were spacious and clean and had everything you possibly needed. In a great location, close to everything.
Perfect for large groups. We had a large family booking of 24 adults and kids, from 67 to 4 yrs old. Had to postpone a couple of times due to lockdowns, but staff were so helpful during the whole process. Definately using them again on our next trip down to Queenstown.
p.Family of 24. We absolutely loved this place. Location is A+. Very tidy and clean accommodations. Used the self service laundry and did not disappoint. Highly recommended. Close to everything - walking distance to town, gondola & luge. We stayed in Febfor aprx 6 days so summer time.
M.Excellent location for our golf group of 15. Short walk down the hill into town, rooms tidy, great general kitchen area. No issues at all.

Kitchen looked great although we didn't use it. Laundry area was good, $4 each I think it was. Campsite toilet and showers are still through the five or six studio units, but they are kept clean and tidy...no issues there.
M.The location of the park is top notch if you want direct access to Queenstown central. Very neat bathrooms and kitchen area. The camping and caravan area has been created with campervans being the target customer, so dont expect much in regards to campsite sizes and space for kids to run around.
L.Stayed here two nights with my family September 2021. Booked two rooms & one self contained studio. Good size rooms, comfortable, tidy & clean with good shower water pressure.
Awesome big shared community kitchen/dining rooms. Good laundry & vehicle parking. Children enjoyed the playground too.
Although we couldn't see the lake, we were spoilt with views of the Queenstown Hills & Coronet Peak & beautiful views at night of the towns lights. Thank you to the nice friendly & helpful staff for a pleasant stay.

N.Nice and central location within walking distance to town, so we never needed to moved the car we had during our visit. Room we stayed in had an amazing view all day long.
Very close to Gondola/Luge and Kiwi Birdlife Park.
Unfortunately there was a power outage overnight during our last night due to construction happening nearby. But that just gave us a reason to get some R&R to recover from our holiday.
C.Not bad, friendly staff and very close to downtown. But it's a shame the bathroom facilities have been moved to one location with about 8 toilets/showers for the entire camp. I understand there is construction happening but I wish they thought of a better solution. Also disappointing that the bathrooms were always a mess with rubbish from other campers and towels thrown everywhere. The kitchen as well had no utensils or cooking equipment except for a couple pots/pans, but at least it was kept very tidy.

T.The perfect location for camping and the facilities are fantastic. Such a shame that the council is selling of the land. The staff were great nd they had opened up the studio apartments for people in campervans to use the facilities as the developers had already demolished the original ones. It will be a true loss to Queenstown if the council continues to sell the land so that only the wealthy can stay centrally.
S.Our group of 23 from Auckland went down to Queenstown in September 2020 and Lakeview were amazing and very accommodating.
Location: 2 min walk from town which is awesome. Has amazing views of the mountain.
Accommodation: We stayed in the flats, a little dated but the price for the amount of people we had were great. The communal kitchen facilities are really good too and they also have a place to do your laundry.
I would recommend this place if you you had a big group and had your days filled with activities.

L.We couldn't get any other place to park our campervan. Luckily this place still have vacant non powered sites. We arrived pretty late at night and leave early in the morning.
C.Great location right near the centre of town. Showers and toilets are clean and hot water with great pressure. If you're emptying campervans, do the evening before you leave as the queue at the checkout time is long!
r.Choose this place if you want easy access to touristy places. The toilet and kitchen are clean, so is the campground. If you are in a campervan or caravan, it is a good idea to stay here as it is quite hard to find a carpark in town.
M.This place is great. Low cost and has great amenities. It is also very close to the center of Queenstown. The way in can be a bit challenging for those with little RV driving experience. For some reason they have put big rocks painted white at the end of lanes on both sides. Be careful with tail swings.

A.Great location. Clean tidy facilities. Only complain is we were given a grassy, muddy site to park our camper vans instead of a concrete spot. This was not convenient and made the van all muddy. And I believe we paid same rate as a concrete site.
A.Busy yet comfortable. Modern facilities however bathrooms/showers became dirty throughout the day. To be expected as the park was relatively busy.
Location is fantastic. For a caravan park in the middle of town it can’t be beaten. The reception staff are very helpful and seem too eager to take your money for activities such as jet boating and bungy jumping.
Overall I would recommend this place to people.
H.Was a standard holiday park. Free WiFi is nice, good showers and toilet but kitchen stove is one the the worst I’ve seen. The stove doesn’t heat up and is very hard to cook things and the campground is very busy and the slots are about the size of a normal car park spot so can be squishy.
J.. I thought it was expensive for a powered site , however it is a really good park better than average . Fantastic kitchen and toilets. Easy walk into town but it’s a hard walk back , the lake view was kinda light as you could only see it from one corner of the park , on average if you want to stay In this tourist built town , this is the best caravan park to do it
R.Very busy, carparkish campsite but excellent location. We experienced a friendly guy at reception but also a very moody lady. We booked a trip at the reception desk but next time I’d do it in Queenstown. You probably get more service from real tour operators.
P.The site is well positioned close to the town but up a steep hill, be fit. The toilet block is clean (apart from people who leave/drop things and expect someone else to tidy after them. Do not fall for the $1 box in the shower, hot water is free. A good site overall.
L.This campsite is in good location. Next to the gondola and close to the town. However It's too hard to set a tent as grounds are too hard. Also you can get only small area to set a tent. Kitchen is bit small, only one small refridge. No Kitchen utensils. Staff wasn't kind too.
D.Beautiful place! Loved the customer service, very helpful. They even helped to store a birthday cake for us in the manager's fridge! We werent due to checkin until a 3hours later. Heaps of parking for guests and within walking distance to the town centre. The luge is just a stones throw from here!

S.love the place. its a two room hotel with amenities like kitchen, fridge. the view was so nice with flower plants all over the place. its a suitable place for parents with small kids, teenagers and for families. recommended
C.This park is well located with close distance to the CBD and Skyline, basically everything just within walking distance which gave great convenience. The site is rather compact with large number of campers. Overall the facilities are well maintained and sufficiently provided even with large number of guest. The design of communal kitchen is very nice with large glaze providing a good view of the mountain. There is often long queue at the dump point and the location rather tight in turning for large campervan.
B.Really nice campground! Decent price considering Queenstown centre is right on your doorstep. Very clean, loads of space in the kitchen. Only down side showers aren’t that powerful and no unlimited free WiFi. It’s 2019 everywhere should have free WiFi by now. Other than that would definitely stay again.

M.Great position in middle of town. We were close to gondola and easy to get taxis if you needed transport. Clean, tidy facilities suited this family perfectly when out most of the days at wedding or sightseeing. Highly recommend this to families and visitors. cheers
N.Great set of facilities right at top of Queenstown city centre. $55 for 2 adults and kids over 2 cost $12 which we didn't realise at the check in. Manage to check in at 130pm (usually 2pm). Early checkout at 10am.
Refreshing to do laundry ($4 for a wash $4 for a dryer -44mins. Token to grab at reception) . Showers were nice and hot. Very clean although wearing thongs is recommended. Kitchen facilities were pretty good for those who needs it. Hot boiling water was great to refill our kettle.
The herb garden was a nice touch and we used some rosemary for our lamb chops!
Parking the next day will cost $10 for 4 hours. Free if you book an activity through them.
Overall a great powered site for our self contained RV. There's only one dump station with fresh water there so note for the morning rush. There another dump station just outside the holiday park. Turn left at the exit and follow the road. No fresh water tho.
F.One of most busiest campsite. We stayed here for 2 nights on their campground, huge area, code needed to access their shower and toilet. They bathroom was clean but you have to insert the coin to use the bbq.
V.Great camping ground with modern facilities (and plenty of them). Best location, being only 400 metres from the CBD and all the restaurants, bars, shops that it offers.
A.Great campervan camp site. Courteous and helpful reception staffs who can recommend you the activities in Queenstown and help you make bookings and sometimes you can get a good deal if you book with them. Also free parking after you've checked out if you made any activities booking with them. $2 to use the BBQ and $4 per wash or dry cycle for the laundry. Location is just next to downtown and the skyline gondola.
c.Too crowded, almost as bad as the freedom sites, stars are for the excellent staff and great location. Showers mouldy on roof, overcrowded like sardines but flip side to this is there was really no alternative with this proximity to town.
J.They stuck us on the grass for a powered site and normally i don't mind but the grass was more dirt than grass and it rained so we just had a mud pool to walk through to get into our campervan. However everything else was good and the location is easy walking distance to popular places in town
C.Price was reasonable, customer service was good and facilities where good. Couldn’t give it 5 star however as it was $4 per wash through the washing machine vs other caravan parks at between $1 and $2. Picky I know but what can I say... great views here as well, bit of a walk up the hill from the main town but not too far that it’s annoying.

Travellers in campervans who plan to stay a night or two only. Vans are parked very close to one another and the park looks more
like a big carpark. The shared amenities (kitchen and toilets) were rather dirty.

G.Big campsite with rooms also on offer. New and clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very busy and a short work to town. Marked down for slightly high price and lack of kitchen gear and paid WiFi - also a slightly misleading name as the lake is only just in view. Camped here for nearly a week and made it a good base to explore Queenstown
C.The staff was really nice. The place was okey, but nothing special, looks just as a parking where you can sleep. The toilet was clean but the showers not exactly, they we’re really dirty. I think there are more beautiful options in Queenstown.
C.When I visited last week, all the power site areas are under construction, so there is construction noise from the morning, and all views are construction site views. They should have clearly noticed when I booked.
A.Good campground with fair facilities and a great location but they tried to charge us $10 for parking after we checked out when they have plenty of space available.... seems like everyone in Queenstown tries to squeeze more and more $$ out of tourists in anyway possible.
R.In my opinion it’s one of the nicest holiday parks in New Zealand. Huge clean kitchen area, plenty of clean toilets/showers, location to town (less than a 5 min walk), and a friendly/knowledgeable staff. The only downside was the slow WiFi, but the proximity to town makes up for everything.
J.Nice stay. They have a very large kitchen, showers and nice common areas. You're packed in tighter than sardines camping but it's within walking distance to the city center and tons of activities.

H.Can be a bit crowded at times. Small tent sites. But then it is really only 5 minutes away from town or the gondola (in case you are in town for mountain biking). Lots of tent sites are in the sun all day and not a lot of benches to sit on. If you are lucky and not too close to some teenage girls camping, it can be quiet too.
L.A very nice camping site, it had all the facilities we needed for our camping van, and the location is ideal. The reception helped us book all the activities in the area, and were nice enough to allow us to stay parked well beyond the checkout time so we could enjoy the city before moving on.
S.You pay for the location. I stayed there in a tent two nights. Tent and Campervan sites are very narrow, so make friends with your neighbours ;-).
You are required to bring your own crockery, cutlery and pans. However, you can also rent it from the reception. Nights were rather short due to loud neighbours, helicopters and rubbish collectors.
Hot showers are included. The communal area is large with free BBQ, cooktops, fridge and a charging area with plenty of power points. Everything covered by CCTV.
Standard sites are 55$ for two. They don’t advertise it but you can also get a small tent site on a slight hill for 30$.
S.This is located on higher grounds and has a great view! Just walking distance , down steps to the shops, super convenient and near! The facilities are very good, toilets are clean, however no heater in the bathrooms.
A.Overall happy with this holiday park. As most people are saying, it is really overpriced and they get away with it due to the lack of freedom camping in queenstown. Other than the price though, it is a really nice place to stay. The facilities are all large and relatively clean, and the staff we dealt with were very helpful. The wifi does not work which is annoying, but didn’t ruin the experience.
A.Great location almost in the heart of Queenstown. Is close to all the activities in the town. Decent facilities but it doesn't have a very inviting vibe, rather feels like more of a college hostel with lots of rules. Does make a good option specially in that busy part of New Zealand.
Y.Close to the town, facility is clean and comfortable. Only down side is campers need to bring their own cookwares but I think it is all acceptable because the maintenance. All in all its a good camping site!

h.Camped here. So I'm not familiar with other facilities. But from my experience it was an alright place. They didn't have cookware to use in the kitchen.. this really bothers me about places that have a massive kitchen and facilities to use. Also the showers were so disgusting I almost didn't use them. BUT it's a cheap place close to the city centre.
A.Its the only holiday park/motorhome site suitable for us in the centre of the town. Its too big, too many tents and although the facilities are excellent and clean; site well sized. Its just too touristy for us. It is purely location and convenient. Wouldnt rush to return
O.Arrived here today from Te Anau, very picturesque with multiple trees and footpaths spacious.4 of us in one room with shower, toilet,electric jug,tea,coffe,soap and shampoos supplied. Fridge for food. Queen bed, bunks, table n chairs, ceiling fan, heaters, towels n linen. Nice window views from room. Verandah at door which allows a place to sit and look out with some privacy.Back view is multiple pines and beautiful hills. Camping ground full but not noisy, thetown a 10 minute walk down hill, coming back an uphill climb that is manageable. Compared to the other holiday park I stayed in, this is so much better and so much nicer. I'd refer family and friends here.
A.Great clean rooms, great facilities and great customer service. I had a Skype interview and the staff were very friendly to explain the wifi setup and the quality. The internet quality was very strong in the room off peak. I would recommend staying to friends.
i.It's close to downtown. It is an convenient stay for travelers. Nice kitchen and shower. Maybe because of the location, each campsite is very small, you are just side by side your neighbor.
J.All sorts of accommodation available here. Plenty of powered sites available for vans. Large amenities block cleaned daily and large kitchen and dining area also. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful when booking activities in the area
P.Best place to park your camper van. There is a very good kitchen and clean bathrooms with hot water. Just five to ten minutes walk to the shops in the Queenstown city.
K.Great location and new facilities. Very busy site and may be a queue for showers etc at peak times but clean and functional. Large kitchen. Closely packed sites. We had issues with drunken noise one night out of three. Apparently there is a warden on site until midnight for this kind of thing.
H.Bit of wait to empty grey water at times and they definitely pack you in like sardines but clean and quiet at night. Close to food and the skyline. Price is a bit higher than other camps I’ve been too.
C.Stayed in a campervan. It is quite close to the city but the park itself is quite bland. Basically, it is just a great field of grass on which they put a few roads and concrete parking spots. Could use a bit more vegetation, but that is probably not wanted as they fill up every square centimeter if it gets crowded. Prices are fairly high, but this is to be expected this close to the city center. Facilities are new and clean. They are going a bit overboard with security as there are cameras literally everywhere and daily changing door codes for the main gate and facilities.
W.Stayed for 3 nights in a campervan, great location to the main area at Queenstown. Unfortunately the park was only average compared to other places we stayed during our holiday. Having to pay for wifi is ridiculous these days, also the shower blocks had no heating making it very uncomfortable
R.Wonderful place to tour. Lot of fun activities. You can do para glide, ski, bungee jumping,luge and many more! Queenstown city center has many Indian restaurants. Kiwis are Very friendly people. Very cool winter and you can enjoy snow !

A.The best campsite in Queenstown simply because of these reasons :
1. Walking distance to the town.
2. Next to Skyline Queenstown.
3. Amazing view.
4. Good facilities. i.e Kitchen, Toilet, Hot Shower, Dump Site, Laundry, Playground for kids, TV room.
I would suggest a minimum stay of 2 days here.
D.Average in every sense nothing remarkable. Loads of spaces so even with caravan felt like dormitory or outdoor hostel. Plenty of toilets and showers but a little on the dirty side. Kitchen was ok as with laundry ... tokens for laundry is just another step that either makes more money for them or diminishes something else? Wi-Fi was spotty at best.
M.Good. Orderly. Equipments all workable and the place is clean. Enough kitchen space for cooking. Surrounding is peaceful. Nice place for our campervan.

Waking distance to town center
Suggestion - room map given for our of office check-in not clear. Had to search the room for 10 minutes.
I.Aboslutely loved it, free unlimited hot water showers, plenty of cubicles for the the showers and the toilet. Very clean, there are plenty of stoves and washbasin. The location is near town(5 mins walk), Great view, in short everything is great here. The 1 star missing is that their laundry uses token system and it didnt work as it should. I filled up only 4/5 of the limit and my clothes didnt wash properly neither dries properly, and it was winter. The token system made me unable to add time to the drier since the reception already closed.
Tip: cubicle number 7 for shower has a pressurized jet shower, which was my favourite during my stay.
If you are missing a condiment to add to your dish, they have a complimentary condiments at the corner of the kitchen that you can use.
V.We were unfortunate to stay on a very busy night. The site has great facilities for campers but the cleanliness of the showers let it down along with how packed in the pitches are. It's very expensive for what you get.
G.Great location. 5 min walk to city center and restaurants. 3 min walk to the gondola. Facilities are good. Rooms are clean. Available parking. Very nice and international staff. Possible to book activities at reception.
V.Not given a room with balcony which was promised over phone. The receptionist tried her best to cool us. Limited tv channels. Would have preferred to have a sink & mirror in the room.
R.Very convenient campground to visit Queenstown. The skyline, bird sanctuary and a Minigolf are only a very short distance away. Not to forget the Lord of the fries - which we absolutely loved. Additionally, the walk down to the city is not far.
J.Great campervan park with lots of space and perfect location! Just park your big vehicle and go walk in the beautiful town centre.
At the reception you can book lots of activities and ask the friendly staff for tourist information.
Toilets and other facilities are adequate and clean.
After checking out you can park the campervan near the reception for a few hours paying a small fee or for free if you book an activity at their office.
G.Hey if you are on a budget... you gotta do what you gotta do. This place has showers. A full kitchen. its like living in a parking lot and everybody has assigned parking. your campsite/rv/campervan/car goes in your parking space. Everybody is shoved in like sardines. theres no privacy and you can hear everything. We tent camped here during summer and boy it got cold at night. its walking distance to queenstown shopping and food and skyline easy to get to by bus and probably like an 1.5hr walk from airport. 4 stars for price and last minute booking.

We thought we had a space between us and next van for an awning but that was quickly refuted when another small camper was snuck in... maybe 2m separation at best.
Location is the draw card as its smack in centre of town. Found the girls at the front desk quite helpful and we booked our jet boat etc there as it was same price.
Clean with large kitchen but they need to invest in some new stove tops as the electric ones are mostly slow or don't go. Ok if you like your bacon stewed. Also recommend they do more frequent cleaning runs through the toilet block in morning as the women's especially got a bit grotty.
B.Great location. Great facilities. Only issue I had was that the Powered Sites area was overbooked and campervans were using grassy areas between proper sites. That's why only 3 stars as I had another camper 1m away from my windows
E.Showers are completely free as of now. Amenities were clean. There is a beautiful view over the lake and mountains from the kitchen area. Prices are reasonable considering very convenient location.
A.Beautiful views from our room. Rooms are slightly dated but clean. Decor is very simple. Additional bunk beds in some of the rooms. Nothing fancy, just practical and clean.
S.Quite a nice clean caravan park, and close to the city, but charges the most of any I stayed at on the south island, up until recently changed for showers with $coin slots next to the showers and had no free internet, instead trying to make you book activities through them and then giving you internet.
So while one of the better parks in the SI, certainly takes advantage of tourists too.
M.This place has quality amenities, but they come at a high price. Everything costs extra in addition to your campsite: internet is extra and can only be bought for one device at a time, showers cost extra, the barbeque costs extra, the food lockers cost extra -- there are a lot of hidden fees that add to the price. Additionally I've had issues with the security man hassling when coming home from the pub. The internet doesn't work well in the kitchen area, game room, it bathroom areas -- all places that you might want to sit with a computer during the rain. This place isn't bad, but it isn't great. You've been warned...
R.Location is at its best to enjoy the lake view and a refreshing morning walk along its promenade. The services offered by the apartment management are excellent. Would like to stay with them on my revisit.
A.Crazy paths and fencing force you around the place like Ikea, can't get in the units except for one side, a long walk with bags from the other. Kinda like a carpark with accommodation added. No bike parking. Campervan area looks like you're sleeping in a supermarket carpark
z.oooh the scenery and all is unreal. the facilities are all really clean and it's close to the town area so you can just walk there to shop or eat. it's really nice and all!
T.Central to the Queenstown Buzz on a budget. We stayed in a two bed motel room. This was a little too cozy for our family of 5. The staff were great.
D.Large scale caravan park with easy disabled bathroom access. The panic area overlooks Queenstown and great to have dinner with a view.
M.NZ in general requires some expectation adjustment. Nice, community centric camping-oriented motel and campground. Passable, but the mouldy smell in the room (despite the staff's best attempt to remedy) hampered the stay.
L.Clean tidy bathrooms. I have used nicer and warmer bathrooms at a campervan site but these were sufficient. Great distance from town.
A.Very well located in Queenstown, near a. Lot of attractions. If you're looking for a powered site, It's a little pricey for what you get. No free wifi. Some amenities not available at night.
P.Great location, only minutes walk from the centre of town.
Kudos for still having single tent sites at a one person rate during peak times, unlike the other camp in town.
K.Good place to stop over. Kids enjoyed the playground. Beds were average but the place was nice & clean. Nice & close to walk into town.
J.Shower is a bit dangerous as the tap closes the wrong way round. Risk of scalding. Rooms smell chemical on arrival. Guests are noisy in the middle of the night. Otherwise a good location closed to the centre and gondolas.

Four visits to the front office during the week and each time I witnessed an altercation between a staff member and a tourist/visitor.

My advice is avoid the front office to enjoy your stay at the Park.
D.Central location to everything within Queenstown. Camping, camper vans, short/long term stay, deluxe and caters to walk in's for bookings. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Bathroom a bit outdated with hot water taking a while to kick in. Simply for the location i'd recommend anyone who is trekking around Queenstown to check out this place for accommodation.
B.We stayed in the campervan park in the back. It was a full parking area that night but it was easy to get to the ferry in the morning, and quiet for sleeping. Tip for people taking the ferry: bring something to eat while you wait to get on.

N.Bit pricey, but worth if you wish to spend more time in Queenstown towb centre, cause it is just less than 500 meters from the Park, solve parking problem. Park itself provide 1gb wifi, the kitchen and dining room is large and bright due to most of the struture construct by glass, give a scene of Lake of Wakatipu (far scene)
S.Great if you want to be in centre if Queenstown. Great facilities but small sites and very close together. Ok if you dont mind listening to your neighbour snoring all night!

P.Expensive. It looks like a parking lot. The fields are not really suitable for tents. The kitchen, toilets and showers are modern and clean, but you have to pay extra for pans, plates, etc.

D.Spent a lovely week in Queenstown and at the Holiday Park.We stayed in a nice 2 Bedroom unit which offered plenty of room for 5 people. Park was nicely layed out with nice gardens with plenty of secure parking,we had two cars.Staff were very helpfull especially Kathy.
L.Hot shower no time limits. No individual dining table, and view is limited. Good accessibility to town shops.
K.Clean amenities and close to town centre. Campervan sites are quite squished when they squeeze smaller vans between the large Campers.

S.Staying in a campervan (seemingly one of hundreds) was functional but more like a car park than holiday village. Also stayed down the road at Creeksyde, which was smaller and greener, but often full.
