We arrived at 12 midday and after paying the room rate of $225.00 for a two bedroom unit which was advertised online for $196.00 we were then told the room would not be available until 5pm due to staff shortages. The room however was great and it would have been a pleasure sitting on the balcony that afternoon but by the time we got access the sun had gone behind the apartment complex. A late arrival traveler (approx. 6.30 pm) arrived and was overheard in lobby stating on the phone "but you are advertising vacancies on the sign outside I will take whatever you have". Then hanging up and driving away. Admittedly Queenstown appeared very busy that weekend but this behavior by some in the hospitality trade leaves you wondering why bother venturing into the Queenstown lakefront.

Room was large and spotless upon arrival. We were pleasantly surprised given such a good price! Friendly staff at front desk made me feel comfortable with lots of small children with me while trying to sort care details etc. Quiet and central to all things you need in Queenstown. Perfect location and comfortable rooms. Love this place! Will be back.

Great location, spacious, quiet, reasonably clean and nice to have a proper deep bath. The owner was nice and friendly, but the "luxury" tag on the corporate website is definitely a bit inflated especially as no daily service. Overall, good for the price and I appreciate it.

Stayed 1 night, 6 adults 3 rooms with 2x doubles bed rooms which had there own on suites and loft had 4 singles and a full kitchen, cost was $240 well worth the price of stay right in the town centre. very, very cool accommodation. as long as your willing to see past some minor decor faults we all enjoyed our stay there. note - we didn't stay inside main hotel but had outside unit, but we had a person with a disability and it suited our needs.

Has a wonderful view but a few things that are really off-putting. Rather condescending and rude staff member on arrival who demanded a bond (fair enough, just was a bit rude about it - went to swipe the card without even asking) and a few things about the place that just felt cheap. No washing powder, watered down dish washing liquid in a dirty lemon juice bottle and the cleaner used one of the two dishwasher powder sachets they left us. Cutting corners just feels bizarre as the rest of the place is quite nice. A bit noisy as well being right near the main center but that's to be expected. Overall not bad, but could definitely be better.

Spent a week here in Queenstown. Fantastic location. Central to everything and able to walk everywhere. We had a studio room. Fairly basic room, but perfect if you just want somewhere to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the staff were pleasant. Parking was interesting. There were limited parks in the front and it seemed to be a 'first in, first served' basis. So sometimes we'd get back and there were no parks available. I had to go in and ask and cars would be moved around. Perhaps you could number the carparks and allocate these to the bookings? TV reception was quite fuzzy and channels were limited. Overall a pretty good stay.

Great value for money. Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. Had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with double beds and loft space with 4 extra single beds. Lounge and kitchen were well equipped. Had a premium movie channel and could plug in the chromecast to the tv. Prime location and plenty of heaters. Great place on a budget and very nice staff.

Really handy to town. Breakfast in the price and a good bed, all let down by a filthy couch and stained carpet. There was mould between the tiles in bathroom. Should have been cleaned ages ago.

Stayed a couple of nights in a serviced apartment room. The kitchen space was very small with very little bench space but it was sufficient for us, especially considering the cheap rates. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly.

6 of us stayed for one night.so close to town.had every thing we needed.warm and plenty of room.of course it could have been flasher but at 181 dollars it was brilliant ,perfect and affordable for a family.and continental breakfast was 1st class.will stay again.

We had a spacious studio without any view in the ground floor corner of the building. Supposedly with garden view, but it was located in a corner without any sunlight coming in, so rather cold. We had to put on heating although outside it was perfect weather. The patio has a table and uncomfortable chairs. Appliances were old and rickety, making lots of noise, but washing machine and dryer were new. Breakfast was provided in form of plastic bag with some toast, juice, jam. Check-in was smooth. Location just off Queenstown’s main street is unbeatable. All in all we had a good stay though.

Went to stay here and I was impressed with how central everything is to it's location. The units are spacious. Would recommend to others.

Stayed here for three nights at the end of the school holidays. Amazing to find accommodation right in the heart of QT. Easy walk to everywhere. Room 205 was clean & warm and ground floor with privacy. Staff were pleasant, parking was affordable. Would highly recommend this property.

Nice apartments for staying in Queenstown. Located very close to restaurants and shops, so you can go many places with a quick walk. We were there in summer and the apartments were too warm and there was no air conditioning. One of the rooms didn't have a window so it was really uncomfortable to sleep in it. But for the winter, I think they will be very nice. The apartments in the upper floors have a nice view of the lake.

Great location, with walking distance to all the fun late night places. Affordable. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels n hot water. Tap water taste great.

The loft apartments are great!! The staff are very kind, and are happy to help you with problems you face!! From; where the closest super market is. To; how do I get my phone back after leaving it in a taxi on the way here from the airport. The room I stayed in was great, it worked well for 8 people. As well as having great views!!

Very convenient, a minutes walk to the lake and restaurants. Lovely staff, we enjoyed the breakfast basket lots of space for a family.

I'm usually not a complainer but have to tell the world before this place almost ruins your holiday. On arrival the lobby was ok and smelt of curry. Washer and dryer facility available within the rooms ***** with full kitchen amenities. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Not a bad unit for the price.

Good view from the balcony I am very impressed to see the mountain view. The hotel is located in the city centre so is very convenient. Adults on our trip,plenty of room to stretch out in our room. Reception closes outside of business hours and common facilities are not desirable.

5 of us stayed 1 night after a hike. We ran out of hot water after 3 showers. Front desk said we had to wait 45 mins for more hot water. The interior of the room was cosy and modern. Modern kitchen was great. Big couch to sit on. Some wall fixtures, coat hangers etc, were broken. Fireplace with remote was very nice. Price was probably too high for what we got overall. Probably won't revisit, there are better deals available in my opinion. 3/5 Stars.

The lofts apartments are well appointed and spacious. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a loft with an additional three beds. Perfect for families or for groups of skiers. Spa and sauna facilities work as ordered and staff are friendly and attentive. Great location in the heart of the town.

Had what we needed. Plenty of beds. Perfect location. Very affordable especially if in a group. Will definitely re-book again in the near future

Stayed 8 nights with 3 other family members. Pleasantly surprised after reading some very negative comments. Friendly and accommodating staff. 2 bedroom apartment on top floor with 2 bathrooms, a bath, 2 balconies, outdoor table and chairs and gas BBQ. Not the Ritz but then neither did we pay top price. Enough space for 4 (50+) finicky ladies, to make the most of what was provided. Only took a minute for us to tidy up and our towels were changed daily and room cleaned as required. Location suited our needs, we all love to shop and everything was so close by. Bus pick ups almost outside our front door. We loved being amidst the buzz of Queenstown. Noises are part of the holiday spirit and we will definitely recommend the Lofts. Shabby chic and all. Thanks to our Hosts and housekeeping staff

We were lucky enough stay in the apartments at the lofts for a week as a timeshare rental which saved us a heck of a packet. As a group of skiers, it was great to have the spa and sauna facilities to come back to after the slopes. We found the staff friendly and pleasant. It's a really well located property right in the heart of all the action and so close to town. Thanks so much nztimeshare.rentals we will definitely think of you and the Lofts next time we are in Queenstown.

We booked this hotel last minute at the information centre, they refused to refund our 2nd night money we could not stay any longer as the place was so dirty and our plans had changed. The bathrooms were filthy and only got cleaned once a …

Space was great. Clean apartment. Dated but acceptable. Position perfect for what we wanted. Walking not driving. Staff always asking if there was anything they could do. Worth a rebooking in the future as they tell me the units are in a process of updating and refurbishing

shower not high enough. tv all staticy cant watch without affecting my eyesight. 3 pillows between two beds had to use cushions. good electric blanket and bedding areas.

Very good location. Very close from city centre. Great view of the mountain. Unfortunately no free parking and limited free wifi. Rooms was 3bedrooms, 2 double beds and 4 single beds. If they have free parking we will visit there again

Have just spent 6 days at The Lofts, excellent location. Owners very obliging and offered servicing of the room each day. A comfortable Studio room with all facilities. The shower head could be better but everything was clean. Will stay there again and would recommend.

We stayed at this cozy hotel located in the heart of Queenstown. Might be worth buying housekeeping a proper trolley. The saving grace for this place is the location. Thanks to the staff and to the entire team of the lofts to look after our stay and made it remarkable.

We found the room they had booked us in was too small for us so we got moved. Loft apartments is probably good place for young people and if you plan to come party in Queenstown. I will definitely stay here if i come back to queenstownLocation is next to the city centre and lake front.

Appreciated the hotel making arrangements for our room when we unexpectedly got delayed and arrived in Queenstown at 3am in the morning in the dreary rain. Staff came up to us and gave us amazing tips where to go and what to eat. We feel we were just lied to by ***agement who really did not care that our holiday had been ruined.

Lovely apartments to stay at by the habour in Auckland. Downstairs there are a good choice of restaurants. Lovely Irish pub next door that serves homemade food and a convenience store. The staff at the Lofts are very helpful and calm which makes it a very relaxing break away.

The location is fantastic but it is let down by the heating. We had the three bedroom apartment and it was freezing- could do with a facelift too but main issue was how cold it was

We have stayed here around 5 times and it's been fantastic every time ,close to everything.

Good sized apartment. Lovely view of the mountains from the balcony. Not as clean as it could be. Second bedroom is very small. No draws or wardrobe storage available.

Stayed here for 4 nights, excellent place to stay at with Family or friends. Great location, right near all the main attractions of Queenstown. Comfortable, big lodges. The manager Mangal is also very helpful, definitely recommend.

Excellent place to stay close to everything. We had a 2 bedroom unit which had a full kitchen and laundry. Reasonable price so great for family or group. Would use again.

I was in room 501 had a fabric view & it was olvely/modem inside ....it felt like home away from home & I would go back and book that same room again.

The staffs in reception are friendly, and the room is nice, but if you book a reservation to this hotel, you need to call them first for asking them do they have car parking vacancy, because last day we didn't know about it and not available car parking for us.

It would have been a much better experience if the rooms were air conditioned and had toilet rolls/tissues replenished each day. Location was good to amazing restaurants.

Osum view in my private a balcony... very clean and tidy big room. Got more than expectation literally a worth rebooking here... right in center of town no driving need jst walk nywhere .... easy access to shops...i believe this is a best place to stay. Cheers

Good sized studio room, very clean but the furniture condition of the bedside cabinet let them down. Very handy location, two minute walk to the lake front and major restaurants.

We get into room which is big and has a view. I found this to be great value for money. The Lofts are close to everything ,all I really can say is I would recommend this place to everyone ,again a great BIG THANK YOU ***gal ,hope to see you next year.

The only reliably good thing is the location. Blunt knives, a lack of extractor fans in half the bathrooms, a suspiciously blood-like stain my duvet, but all half a minute from the waterfront.

The place is good and cozy. Just need addtl room heaters to get warm and also need to fixed the water heater. Over all experienced in here is above average.

Convenient location on Shotover (downtown Queenstown). We had a large condo with 2 bathrooms (such a bonus!). Parking is an issue though.

Lounge/kitchen and outdoor area need some attention and updating. Location was close to downtown so restaurants and shops were within walking distance.

It's not a flash place but fantastic location right beside the shops and a great price for Queenstown. We had lots of heaters so I guess they have acted on the feedback.

Room showed pictures of a washing machine and drier in the room. But when I asked the Manager he said it was a communal one. Told him that that is false advertising to which he agreed.
