N.All the ambience of a beach pub with heritage too. Grand building. Grub was very good. Busy too when we were there. It has a dining area, lounge-type place, a few seats out front, a public bar with pool tables and a garden bar with some shade and a music stage. Love it
N.The hotel itself has pure old school charm. The food in the restaurant was pretty good and the staff were very helpful. The only issue was how warm the room was at night even with the window open. The rooms need fans. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay again.
b.Burgers and pesto pasta were great. The burger was really long to come, but the really nice waitresse from the sport bar gave us 2 complimentary drinks as apologizes. I will definitely come back !

C.I am a housekeeper and waitress here. Just had to reccomend the halloumi salad! Flavourful mint dressing, crunchy pita, filling halloumi, fresh crisp salad, and grilled eggplant that tastes smokey and grilled like it should. It is a good, pub food, salad and a decent size. I love our chefs and kitchen staff!

M.Perfect place to have a beautiful meal after having a surf to warm up and feed the hunger. The seafood chowder is amazing and perfect and the pizza is very well made but my favorite is the surf and turf.. wish I could eat more.. The beer is ice cold

R.It's OK, good location. Shared bathroom was clean with plenty of soft towels and soap bars. Old skool charm. Poor service, I think because they can't find enough employees.

K.Enjoyable atmosphere and good choice of food. We had lunch with 6 of us. Wait staff were helpful and onto it. Food was good proportions and reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience in a lovely old pub.

A.We always enjoy the Harbour view Hotel. Good hearty food at a great price. With that combination, it's the best place to eat in town in our opinion. Awesome friendly staff that surprised my wife with ice cream and candles for her birthday and even sang her happy birthday. Good effort.

Q.Amazing food. Service is great. Toilets clean. Bar has terrific pool tables. Younger crowd mostly but still host older. Fun. Fun. Fun.
M.Absolutely love Raglan! Used to be a cool black sand hippy surfer beach vibe. Seems to have become a lot more popular. There's a lot to do here. A bit of everything for everyone. Surfing, fishing, kayaking or beach bumming. It's got it all. There's a nice waterfall close by. Highly recommended. You can hire surf boards and wet suits and kayaks.
C.Had the Surf n Turf. Steak was cooked perfectly, knife cut through like butter. The mussels were flavorful and tender and the prawns were perfectly succulent. Was absolutely to die for.
M.We came here for dinner last night and were very pleased with our choice! The place was warm and clean and service was great, my steak (order the surf and turf) was amazing, first time I have actually had a steak cooked to exactly how I ordered. Generous portions, will be back
J.What an amazing place. Christian and Sue are amazing hosts. The smell of the sea air outside your front door is something to be treasured. I highly recommend this to anyone- so relaxing

D.Love the local pub its where I met my partner 20 + years ago still go there to this day friendly staff and nice cold drinks. Also great food.

Raglan is probably one of my favorites places to stay while I was in New Zealand. But this hotel is awesome. The rooms are old but they have wonderful character. I stayed here to celebrate my Girlfriend's birthday and we had a wonderful time.
The rooms do not have bathrooms. There are only a few bathrooms on the 2nd floor where the rooms are so if its busy that might create a problem.
However when I stay there it was a GREAT stay. We had a Pizza downstairs, a few beers and got to play pool for a bit.

N.Visited Raglan for a night and heard good comments about the seafood chowder main at the hotel from locals and travellers. Decided to order the chowder and I'm so pleased I did. Highly recommend dinner option if you are in the area.
D.Disappointed that trim milk wasn't an option for my coffee, only full fat milk. No drinks menu, only a wine list. food was nice, I had the pork dumplings
A.Had a few meals here now... Their fish & chips with salad is always fresh & tasty with very generous portions.
m.Great atmosphere, great antipasto, the BEST creme brulee (with that satisfying 'crack' when the spoon breaks through the caramelised sugar layer), chocolate mousse (topped with whipped cream and real berries) and pizza dishes. Service in the front bar can be, at times, a bit non existent. Sports bar is where to go if you just wanna chill.

A.Seafood chowder tasted excellent and the garlic bread with it was divine. Love the decor and feel of this place. Enjoyed the food very much 😁 Will surely visit when we are in raglan next time 👍🏻
