P.Our stay was beyond excellent, as a family we travel frequently and I can honestly say that our accomodation over delivered on our expectations. The room was spacious, exquisitely furnished and every detail well thought through from the super comfortable beds to the spotless bathroom and living areas. Location is on point but above all else the stand out service we received from the manager Jo was 5 star. Very professional and helpful, she made us feel so welcome. We have already started planning our next stay away here and can not wait to return.
K.Excellent accommodation, with vaulted ceilings, lovely furnishings and a truly massive bed which made for a great nights sleep! Being able to not only walk into the township, but to the beautiful estuary within a couple minutes was ideal!!!! We will back for sure, thanks for having us! Adam & Kerianne
C.Very nice and tidy Motel with friendly staff. Can't believe just a close it is to everything! Literally a 1 minute walk into town. Bed was very comfy. Usually I have difficulty sleeping when I'm not at home - this is not the case when I stayed at Raglan Sunset Motel though! Will definitely be staying here again in the future, that's for sure.

S.Centrally located within walking distance of everything - restaurants, cafes, shops, beach! Upstairs rooms have balconies, downstairs rooms have courtyards that go straight out onto a communal courtyard - prefer upstairs 😁 Excellent contactless check-in and check-out due to covid.
V.Very tidy and so quiet at night. A center of everything. 3mins walk to the beach and cafe, eatery and resto and if you want you can cook your own meal in thier super clean common kitchen. Thanks Admin and staffs.

j.Friendly staff. The room was clean and well presented. The beds were a bit lacking in the comfy department. The shower was near impossible to get to a good temperature and would fluctuate between hot and cold. Value for money was on the steeper side at $170 a night.

R.We weren't expecting much when we booked this place (it doesn't photograph very well it seems) but just needed a reasonably priced place to stay in Raglan. So what a pleasant surprise to discover it was so nice inside! The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and there was even a bathtub. The lady at the reception desk was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Raglan! The location right next to the center of town (cafes and restaurants a block away) was an extra plus.
d.Very clean and well equipped motel. Stayed in suit of 3 bed next to reception. Shane the house next door has dogs that yapped all the time didn't get any sleep. Motel is next to 4 Square store and easy walk to town and beach
A.Close to the town which was good walking distance. Room could do with some maintenance some lights not working toilet button kept getting stuck no servicing done only clean towels, no tea towel for 3 days expected more for what we paid rung for service no return call
V.My partner and I were at raglan to get married. We stayed at the sunset motel with at least 20 of our family and friends. What a awesome place it is clean and tidy, handy to everything. Great courtyard to socialize in and the owners could of done more for us or been any friendlier. We stayed there for 7 days and we're very impressed with our whole experience. We highly recommend the sunset motel thanks so much.

K.Our first time staying here, we had an upstairs room that you could see the sea just behind the Fire Station.
The room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials for some very basic cooking in the room. This area was a little dark and could do with an overhead light. The king size bed was nice and soft with additional pillows stored in the cupboard along with a few coat hangers, ironing board and iron.
We had Sky TV including the "normal" movie channels. Free WiFi is included with a password from Reception, although the coverage was a bit flaky at times.
The shower often went cold whilst using, Shame other guests wanted a shower the same time as me.
For me, the ace up the sleeve here was it's location. A few minutes walked to the centre of Raglan, but far enough away from the noise of bars etc. Although when the local Fire Alarm Station alarm went off, it did sound like it was outside your door.
Would I stay here again, yes I would and I'd try the Spa next time around.
J.It's really nice, especially for a motel, with a neat back patio area and a good location near the water. This does mean it can get a bit loud at night. It was honestly a nice place with clean beds and bathroom. The low rating is because there is no AC so you have to keep the windows open, and more than 20 flying crickets ended up in our second floor room on the beds at night. I can't stand bugs and I just wanted to give up and leave. Luckily once you turn out the lights they really stop coming in as much, so we got rid of those that got in and were able to sleep. Regardless, I wouldn't ever go back and I'm glad it was only one night.
H.I loved staying here. The man that helped us was very nice and the rooms are very nice too. If I ever come back to raglan I will definitely stay here. I also love that it's so close to shops and the swimming/play area. We had a lot of fun.

L.I have stayed at the Raglan Sunset Motel on several occasions. Each time I have found the location to suit my needs perfectly. Its great being able to stroll down town and partake of a few refreshments without the worry of driving. The motel is very clean and well maintained, staff are polite and helpful. I rate this value for money and will be back many times more to enjoy the surf and country life.
C.We chose this motel because of the location - very close to town. The room was very good - spacious and well equipped. I was a bit disappointed there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, only liquid soap in the shower. The price was a bit expensive as well. Overall a good experience.
L.Nice location and friendly staff but they really need to update their bed mattresses. They feel and look like they are left overs from the 90s! They provided a very uncomfortable sleep. Not good enough for the price paid!
