B.Straw Lodge is the place to be if you are planning a trip to Blenheim. Amazing vineyard views, fabulous accommodations with comfy beds with all of the comforts of home and the most genuine and friendly hosts you could ever ask for. A visit to the Straw Lodge has been on my bucket list for a number of years when planning my 2 month holiday to New Zealand. We were on our honeymoon and we felt we were in paradise from the moment we arrived. It was so hard to leave. Trudy makes you feel like family from the moment you meet her and makes incredible breakfasts fit for a king. Barry complements Trudy with his charm, personality and knowledge of the vineyards. If you are looking for a private oasis that will let you be immersed around spectacular vineyards, look no farther than The Straw Lodge. It is the hidden gem in Blenheim. Book this lodge along with a meal at Gramado’s restaurant and you will make memories that will last a lifetime.

B.(Translated) Trudy and Barry are perfect hosts! The lovingly prepared breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The room is comfortably furnished. From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the vines and at night on the starry sky. Straw Lodge is an ideal place to relax.

Trudy und Barry sind perfekte Gastgeber! Das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Weinstöcke und nachts auf den Sternenhimmel. Straw Lodge ist ein idealer Platz zum Entspannen.
