e.i always love staying here with the kids, its not to close to town but no to far out.
outside tub is always a winner for my partner and I, and the poool is a fav for my 10 year old.

C.Amazing room for the price! Last minute booking and what we received was awesome hospitality and a great room. The people were friendly and the room was great, being able to have a separate lounging room from the bedroom was perfect. Being able to relax while the toddler slept in a separate area was perfect, trying to find somewhere that had this without having to pay for 2 separate rooms was so difficult to find, so when we found this place, we were stoked! Will definitely be coming back!

R.Of our mini roadie staying at 4 different motels, the Alpin was the most spacious & we felt the best value. It was clean, tidy & the room layout worked well for our group. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Rotorua, we didn't want to leave!
N.Room was a little run down, microwave didn't work properly and hot plate took way too long to heat up. Built in panel heaters in the room and lounge didn't seem to heat up much, so room got pretty cold over night.
Shower/bathroom is nice (has a hair dryer) and beds are comfortable. Hot tub outside was nice, but would be even better if there was a shelter over it. Pool area and garden would be awesome in summer.
L.Friendly service but the rooms really need some love. Just a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. A little maintenance here and there. The room was comfortable and clean enough, loved the private hot tub. Just felt a bit dingy due to lack of upkeep.
H.Being greeted like an old friend was just the start of a great stay. The rooms had everything we needed for a self contained unit. The rooms were clean and the outside hot tub was a extra bonus. Heated pool and bbq area were also great. I would highly recommend The Alpin.
G.This motel's good points was having a spa with its units and quick access to the Whakatane motorway. Its bad points were many:
Cleaness was lacking, stove element not working;
air-conditioned and unit phone not working. No outside light to the unit. Very tight restrictions with operating hours using laundry, swimming pool and spa pool usage. BBQ in a filthy state.
A few other things that didn't make our stay memorable.
J.Great place to stay, warm friendly staff, clean and tidy. I loved the private spa and location, the pool is awesome for kids too!
J.Clean rooms, and a decent location gets this motel 3 stars. Unfortunately the road noise ruined our stay. Traffic noise was significant and we didn't get much sleep with trucks driving past all night no more than 10 meters from our front door. Closing the windows wasn't an option on a 20+ degree night. I recommend booking a room at the back, away from the road, which would make the stay mucn more pleasent.
A.From a very helpful phone call at the start, this place suited us well. Plenty of room for 2 adults and child, clean and well set out, and lovely to have the hot tub in each room. Nothing was too much trouble. Just I would suggest them either providing swimming towels, or making it clear that you bring your own, as we ran out of towels with the swimming
J.We loved our stay here for the Rotorua marathon. We needed two rooms and they put us next door to each other. The hot tubs were fab for our tired muscles and the outdoor pool was surprisingly warm too (it was May). The hosts were friendly and helpful. Thanks
I.If you are looking for hotel with private hot tub, it's not the best choice. We were staying for two nights and we couldn't use it in the evenings as water was just slightly warm. It was getting hot enough only after 10pm, when it's restricted to use it. The room was good and clean, stuff was very friendly.
A.A great place to have a 3 day/night holiday (21st May - 24th May) The room was fantastic. Was quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub. Staff and owner was very helpful. No complaints from us. Very clean. Enjoyed our stay and the places we went were wonderful. Rotorua is an awesome city. Def come back! And def stay at this motel again. From the 3 of us in the Taranaki. I kinda miss the lovely lady behind the counter who gave me some lovely advice and help me sleep better :) HI to that beautiful dog of yours.

a.We had an amazing 2 night stay at the Alpin Motel and Conference Room during winter. The rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy and very modern . Bed and sofa beds were very comfortable. the hot pool and hot tub was amazing. My teenager girls loved swimming during winter time. Excellent private parking, The staff were very polite and friendly.
E.Nice motel with units having a separate living/dining room (with extra bed if needed) and bedroom. Really nice thermal swimming pool in a nice setting. Outdoor private spa pools are functional.
s.Great place. Enjoyed our hot tub and room has everything we needed at a good price. Even sofa bed is great especially it has own door and bedroom has door too so bathroom is private for everyone.
c.Close to needing a bit of a spruce up but for the price it is comfortable, clean and great value for money. Each room has a private spa (outdoors) and my kids loved it as did us adults. Kids enjoyed the thermally heated pool which we had all to ourselves. Sound proofing is great too so it was quiet&peaceful- just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle.
M.The staff is very knowledgable and helpful by proving my family with local discount vouchers. Also Andrew recommended local places for food which we very much enjoyed. The place itself is good price/quality ratio

G.Rooms were spacious and clean but in need of repair. Soap dispensers in the shower is a strange choice - personally didn't like it but I guess it's more eco-friendly? Overall not bad, but nothing special and I'd argue not quite worth the price.
J.From the first phone call advising we may be a be bit late to checking out. The service and experience was 10/10. The manager Tinikia customer's service was out of this world. She goes above and beyond in every aspect for the customer and the stay. My partner and my self stayed for a total of 8 nights and had not one issue. We were actually a bit sad too leave. The bed was super comfortable and was a real king, not just two beds pushed together. The private spas feed of the mineral water and make for amazing experience. The hotel room was clean and had pleanty of space. There is numerous facility's to make your stay easy but the service is defiantly something that stands out. We would be sure to always make this place our first choice.

I wasn't busy in trevalling this time, so I spent long time in my room, and it is comfortable, the soft bed, clean room, hot water for bathing, and I love the SPA pool in private yard! T.Room 38 was clean, spacious and luxurious. This motel has beautiful facilities and caters for all. With many glorious amenities such as an outdoor hotpool, kitchenette and microwave. The staff especially front of house cater for our every need. She was kind, warm and inviting. We could not have asked for a better host and I hope we were perfect guests. Highly recommend and we will be staying here again. Alpin definitely understands the true value of Manaakitanga and wairuatanga. Very hospitable.

The room has everthing you need, can cook a nice meal if you want.

R.Location was nice, was right across from Whakarewarewa - the living Māori village. The room was small but suitable for the price. Our heat pump didn't work which annoyed me a bit. The room is definitely dated and the bathroom to me was akward and seemed more like a public facility then a hotel/motel but to some may not be an issue at all. Staff was friendly. Overall the room served it's purpose but in the end I wish we would have went with a past opinion.
D.Location location location and a clean comfortable room as well. Staff were very friendly also. Didn't get to use the natural thermal spa as it is outside and was only 8 degrees out when we were there.

T.I have stayed here a few times because I have found it good in the past. The bathroom was comfortable though the shower water did spray over the floor when showering. Don't think we will be back here but if you are going ask for a room away from the road.
T.Had a nice quiet stay with best friend. There was a lovely BarBQ area beyond the courtyard but unfortunately we did not take the opportunity of using it but I am sure it is a great spot. The staff on the desk were friendly and helpful. Worth every cent we spent there.
T.I stayed here with my parents and we were very happy with the space and amenities of the room. The prices are excellent for what you get. Every unit has its own carpark in the front and so here is no worry where to park your car or to come …

T.Ended off my 10 day holiday at the alpin motel and can definitely say that it was my most enjoyable night's stay. Good value for money. There was a conference on at the centre at the time we stayed but we didn't hear any increase in noise or anything suggesting that we were surrounded by thirty rooms of conference goers.
M.This is the best place to stay in RotoVegas. Complete with your own outdoor private spa. Nice clean rooms and well priced. Happy helpful staff.
A.Great stay here. Has a hot tub so you can take a dip in the winter. Overall the place is clean and very cosy to live in
T.Nice location. Pretty clean. The hot tub was great. A bit worried about the traffic noise but was all good in the bedroom. Great place for the money.
H.No door, or curtain to separate the shower area. Every time after showering it is so easy to make the entire bathroom wet. And another thing that disappoints me is that the room seems not being cleaned thoroughly.

T.Alpin is good value for money. The bedroom was separate and easily closed off from the living area. We might have opened up the back door or windows but this time we were in a room next to the road and the noise of lorries and trucks was constant throughout the night.

T.The Alpin is in a pleasant position handy for visiting the Redwoods, Te Puia and the buried village. Great for after a hard day of sightseeing. In our roomy unit, then went to the Okareka Walkway Then Rail-cruising, all great examples of the huge variety available in Rotorua.
