Lovely space. We booked a Studio for two adults and child and couldn't fault a thing. All amenities included in the room as well as a pool, BBQ area and even a trampoline for the kids. Everything is within walking distance which makes a big difference too. Great communication from Nick who messaged us in advance when the room was ready to check in.

Nice accommodation with friendly and accommodating staff. Awesome heated pool and thermal pools. Family room was a good size and bathroom had been modernised but the room could do with a little updating. Good location to town and lake, all within short walking distance. would recommend!

Back yet again for our 3rd or 4th stay at Aura! Super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff. Prompt replies to any email or query, and even a notification that our room was ready! Love the reduce, re-use and recycle ethic. Room very comfy with all necessities and a few extras. Property facilities superb and all visible from all rooms so kiddies can be watched in comfort: big swimming pool which is thermally heated in winter, thermal pools, large trampoline wooden lawn games, laundry and cycle storage shed, BBQ, steam cooking box, and local info boards and brochures. Situated right opposite the lake and 5 minutes walking for Eat Street. Nick, Chloe and Ellen, and their proud Aura team, are legends!

Wonderful family pad in Rotorua -- Our family (two adults and two kids) stayed at Aura recently and really enjoyed it. The outdoor heated pool was a hit with the boys, and the team are helpful and wonderful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

went here two times already and it was amazing. Clean, comfortable and modern Very family-friendly, great swimming pool and spa and even has a trampoline right outside the motel rooms. Booked a large booking for Waitangi weekend that just passed. From the get go Ellen & Chole were so friendly, real easy to communicate with. Apon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. Venue is really neat, rooms were clean and spacious, fresh towels available at the tip of your fingers. Kitchen facility/utensils were so handy. Location was just so close to all the activities/supermarket. Kids loved the pool and the mineral pool was so relaxing. Overall just a nice place and am glad we were hosted by an amazing team. I recently stayed at Aura. It was originally meant to be two nights but had to stay longer as my car broke down! The management at Aura was really accommodating - drove me to the car rental place, let me stay past checkout time while waiting for a mechanic - The accommodation was clean, modern, quiet, nice hot pools, open BBQ space, great location - more than anything they were just super nice. We'll be back again!

Loved our stay here central to everything we needed to do. The pool and mineral pool clean. Rooms are nice homely feel and comfortable.

Everything about Aura Accomodation screams amazing. The staff are friendly, visibly hardworking and take pride in their facilities. The decor and signage is clear, fun and not cheesy. The rooms maximise their space & storage perfectly. Located within walking distance to the lake, shops and restaurants. You almost don’t even need to leave the venue it has everything anyone could ever need. Pool, hot springs, lawn games, BBQ facilities the complete works. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I stayed here during a work trip to Rotorua. The booking process was very simple and communication was good regarding check in etc. The greeting on arrival was very warm and friendly which was great. The room was a good size and had everything I needed, the only downside was the bathroom. It was very dated and the shower cubicle was small. The shower head is also fixed to the wall so you can't adjust the height so I had to duck under it. Minor issues though. The facilities were good and the location is handy, only a 10 minute walk into town with Eat Street even closer. Overall not a bad place to stay.

The room was clean with ample linen supplies for outdoor pools an mineral pool...definitely kid friendly...heaps of info for places to visit..We would recommend Aura Accomodation to anyone..even do another stay there, ourselves🥰💯..WHANGAREI VISITORS

Lovely place so cosy and conveniently a walking distance from the lake and just about everything else ! Front desk was lovely and very helpful. We loved it so much we booked it for an extra night. Def will be coming back to aura accommodation again!

Awesome place to stay in Rotorua, the location was amazing and our young kids wouldn't get out of the pool. Would highly recommend as a relaxed, family friendly place to stay.

Room was very clean, spacious but cosy too. Great communication from staff. Easy self check-in after hours. Room was upstairs so had a great view of the grounds and pool. Location is only 2 mins walk to Eat St and the Lake front. Definitely recommend staying here. We'll be back in future!!

Couldn't fault the facilities or service. Perfect location. Wonderful welcome and we just loved our brief stay here and wish it was longer. Loved the thermal pool, so warm and relaxing after a long day and perfect for these freezing evenings. Great rooms, super comfortable beds and pillows. And loved the little extras that made us feel super welcome. Hosts go over and above what's expected, love their enthusiasm and positive energy and knowledge of all things Rotorua. Definitely a credit to kiwi hospitality and we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

Came for a Mountain Bike weekend with friends, secure bike storage, washing station, trail maps and a short ride to the forest - an easy stay for bikers - not to mention hot pools and a short walk to the restaurants. Rooms were warm and comfortable and the service was A+

SO CLOSE to everything!! Right around the corner from Eat Street, right on the Lakefront: just absolutely such an epic spot! The team is so friendly and kind and the rooms are SO NICE for how inexpensive it is! 😍🙌 Had such a pleasant stay and will definitely be coming back - give it a go!!! Such a convenient alternative to Airbnb - I really don't think you can get better location to being central to everything!

A lovely lovely lovely stay at Aura. Great amenities, clean room and beds, and many homely comforts. The fresh roasted coffee served in the rooms was great! Chloe at front desk was super helpful, and gave us plenty of tips and recommendations for our stay - showing us around the motel and walking us to our room. A very hospitable service, and made it a more enjoyable stay. We I’ll definitely stay here when we return to Rotorua. It’s an added bonus they are super keen on recycling (as an avid recycler myself this is great to see).

Spent 5 days with the crew at Aura. They are all so cheerful and happy to help in any way they can! Amazing crew and made our stay memorable. A heap of our family stayed also for our wedding and they all were extremely happy with the service! Excellent facilities and the deluxe studio was the best! We will definitely be back

As a past local guide I was always informed how exceptional the Aura was from guests I picked up. I was also always impressed by the friendly and enthusiastic nature of the staff I met there. Just recently I have had the opportunity to stay and I cannot recommend this place more highly. From the heated outdoor pool, the two hot mineral pools (open till 11pm!), to the super friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and grounds and just general little things like their approach to sustainability with recycling, composting etc. The only unfortunate thing was that we could only stay for one night! After staying here I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Rotorua and will definitely be back. Apologies for locking ourselves out of our room after hours but thanks to the easy process of getting us back in in no time at all :) much appreciated. Thanks Aura team!

This is place is fantastic, with so many special personal touches like a hand written welcome note. Best motel i have stayed because of their genuine welcome and all the things they do like fair trade tea and coffee etc

All the staff we talked to were amazingly friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Their focus on eco friendly, sustainable practices is incredibly good to see and comes across as truly genuine. The heated pool and mineral pools, as well as our in room spa, were all comfortable and lovely additions to a luxurious stay. Free bikes and scooters, a trampoline and the aforementioned pool mean we're definitely coming back with all the kids in tow!

Awesome Facilities! Stayed for a girls weekend. Great place to stay and I'll definitely be back with my family. Loved the mineral pools. The weather was lovely and the whole place had a amazing atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the self check in was so easy. Loved the fact that great restaurants and cafes were within a short walking distance and we didn't have to drive.

The room we stayed in was perfect for our little family and they really enjoyed the heated pool free wifi and watching Netflix and Sky Tv. The place was also warm and clean. The location was great where it was only a 5 minute walk to resturants. My daughter left her photos behind and was so upset, but Chloe was kind enough to send them no extra charge in which we are really greatfull. Thanks for the excellent service and would highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again.

What a real diamond this place is. The location and facilities are great. Walk to the lake and to town in 5 mins or less. Great pool and BBQ area and rooms had everything we needed. But the crowning glory of Aura is the super fabulous and friendly team. Every single member of the team were bright, friendly and genuinely interested in making your stay in Rotorua as good as it possibly can. Will be back again as soon as I can find an excuse to.

Very comfortable. Lovely staff brought us plastic bags so Mrs could use the pool even though her wrist was in a cast.

Amazing place with geothermally heated and mineral pools, bbq and steam cooker for all of us to enjoy. Loved the coffee, the eco-conscious details and the clear and friendly communication. We booked 3 nights and got extra tickets to the Polynesian Spa! Wanted to extend our stay for another 3 nights after the fun experience but sadly we were out of luck. Thank you Aura team for your help to make our stay memorable, we'll be back on our next trip to Rotorua!

The staff are amazing! And the big pool and mineral pools were the best things to relax in after a long day. The location is great. 3 or 4 minute walk to Eat Street yet tucked away from the busy streets and city noise. The environmental ethics of the place is also top notch and the office area and the info boards are fantastic too. Well done Aura! I cannot wait to go back....and I definitely will!

Great place to stay with super friendly and very helpful staff! Delightful pool, mineral pools and a private spa. Loved that they had bikes to use so we could easily see the sights of Rotorua and town. Recommend

Impressed with cleanliness, amenities pool, spa, bikes etc. Staff very welcoming and informative. Check in was straight forward although we arrived when staff were in attendance. Happy to book again.

Where do I start? Our room was clean and tidy. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. The pool and Spa was exactly what our team needed after a day of playing touch. Always clean and towels readily available when we needed them. The free BBQ, (which we used a lot), as well as the bikes and outdoor games were "O" for awesome!! And finally the staff. They were fantastic to deal with. Very friendly and would go out of there way to help us out. They are what make this place a pleasure to stay at. Thank you again Joe (Akld 45s Touch team)

Studio for 5 was perfect. Husband and kids loved the pool. Nick(manager?) had the best customer service. Friendly and professional. Highly recommend and there was Netflix and sky

Loved that they took the time to ring and check what our arrival time was going to be and ask permission to take money from our card for the stay and txt us and email the process for when arriving at the motel. We have stayed at this motel many times but under another name. Loved the changes made in the room we stayed in on the separate single block. Also loved the welcome pack such a cleaver idea. Room was very clean. Can't comment on pool or spa didn't have enough time to try. I was a little concerned about no one staying on site. I wondered how do you control noise levels. But it was no problem. Look forward to coming back. Thank you.

It was lovely. Easy walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Right beside a large lush park with lookouts to the lake and beautiful landscaped gardens. The hotel was perfect and the staff I chatted with were a real joy and genuinely appeared to enjoy their work. Lots of friendly advice and straight forward directions. Very nice experience. Would highly recommend to everyone. Plus there is a heated outdoor pool and two mineral/steam pools to use. Added bonus was the Sky cable package and even Netflix :)

This place is newly renovated and everything is kinda under simple and clean design. Especially their front office, a lot of helpful information about Rotorua is just on their blackboard. They have heated pool, mineral water spa, and bikes/scooter to borrow for free. Their staffs are very friendly and helpful, Erin, one of the kindest staff, showed my rooms and everything I need to know. I especially love their free BBQ area, which I could make something I love using local meat and vegetables. I would highly recommend this place to others and I will stay here again if possible.

Super friendly staff, pretty clean and tidy and easy chek in/out. The room had everything you could need including a little kitchenett. The thermal heated pool was a nice addition as well. They included a camping cot free of charge which was nice. We liked the sustainable approach to everything as well. However, the room was smaller than we thought it would be (clever photography on the ad maybe) and while some bits have obviously been renovated, some bits still looked like original 70/80's furniture/fixtures/fittings. Little bit concerned about the sockets in the room as they all had black scorrch marks around them. They could improve the look/feel of the room 10 fold by replacing all the dated bits. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Nice accommodations, great amenities, wonderful staff. My family and I stayed at Aura for 3 nights and had a great time. Our kids had a blast swimming in the very warm pool, jumping on the trampoline, and riding scooters to the nearby playgrounds. My husband and I enjoyed the helpful recommendations from the staff, the personal touches, and our private hot tub!

We stayed 3 nights at Aura and just loved it! The central location without the noise from the main road is great, with two young kids this was great. We were so close to the lake front and park. But we hardly had to leave as the outdoor pool was a massive hit, we were in it everyday we stayed. It was also great drying our togs overnight in the warm rooms ready for another day of swimming. The staff were so so friendly and also so helpful, this made such a big difference. We really felt so welcome from the moment we arrived and over our stay a friendly staff member was never far away.

This is by far the place to stay in Rotorua if you're looking for value for money. It's so central to everything, especially great food and coffee. Our family loved the private thermal spa, heated pool and the well equipped rooms. The staff and owners go above and beyond to provide a personal customer experience. Aura is also very eco friendly. This will be our choice of accommodation for many years to come.

This is our go to place to stay anytime we are in Rotorua. Great facility with everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Close to town, restaurants, bars, the lake, walking tracks and if walking is not your thing then use the bikes available. Management is very friendly and great to see so many green initiatives in place.

Such a funky little place with awesome staff. Thanks Ellen! Love the commitment to green and to helping the locals. Pool was so awesome on a cold rainy morning. Only complaint would be the communal dryer you needed to run washing through twice, they should set time limit a bit longer. Other than that rooms were neat, tidy and well equipped and it’s a great location at the top of town.

We loved staying here with our kids. The pool is so warm in winter and the free bikes and scooters were great around the complex or lakeside. Lucy, Aura's amazing host is ensuring there is a focus on recycling and minimising waste. Also, if you have 3 kids you will be accommodated here with range of bedroom configurations.

This place has such helpful, kind and down to earth staff. The feel of the whole place is incredible with all of the help yourself activities. The bathroom in the place I was staying in was fantastically modern with a really nice shower to match. I will definitely be looking forward to my next stay!

This is a hostel? This is one of the nicest, most welcoming places I have stayed at. The host greeted and introduced us to all the amenities. Room was spacious and included a hot tub as well as dedicated bathroom. Kitchen was well appointed...I could go on but Aura is awesome!

The staff REALLY go out of their way at this place. For example. Don't need your room serviced? Slide a little message bar, and they'll instead donate $5 to a local charity. There's bins for rubbish/recycling/compost everywhere, and they're even looking at giving aways bags of the resulting compost for free! Great WIFI, great laundry, nice warm pool. Great for families.

We booked two rooms at this hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had all necessities plus a kitchen area. There was a heated outside pool and two indoor private heated spas. All three were geothermally heated. Very cool! The spas had mineral waters that were an added treat. BUt the best part of this hotel was the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure you were cared for. They even gave us a ride to the bus depot when we were running a little late. Now that's service! Kudos to everyone there. Next time we come to Rotorua we already know where we will book our stay.

Great two night stay. Staff were incredible - some of the most friendliest, helpful and awesome service we have had. The "little touches" were great and much appreciated. Location fantastic (2 min walk to Eat Street) and loved the recommendations for food, activities etc. Rooms sound proof. A little dated but clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Great location, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, shops, parks and Lake Rotorua waterfront. The mineral pools were very relaxing and the heated outside pool was just the right temperature. The hotel was full but you would never have known this as there was no unnecessary noise, we did not even hear our neighbours through the walls at night. Loved the fact that we could choose to have our room cleaned or not, if not then a donation was made to a local charity. We will be staying here again!

Great location, short walk to restaurants & bars. Friendly staff with heaps of local knowledge, provided good information on local attractions and activities. Room was clean and tidy. Free bikes were neat to get around the city on. Heated pool and natural mineral spa made for a truly relaxing stay. A great place to stay, staff very helpful, room top rate, heated pool was great, highly recommend this great place for a stop, cook your meal in the geothermal oven as we did or use the b.b.q. Herbs growing nearby for you to use, towels provided for the pool or spa. What else could you ask for.

We loved to stay in the Aura. It's no just a word, it really has a special aura, calm, relaxing & friendly. The staff is amazing and very hospitable. The pool was very nice and our kids loved to ride with the bikes to town. Keep up your great work!

I booked this at the last minute for a brief 1 night visit to Rotorua. I chose here as it was cheaper than most airbnbs, in a fantastic location in the middle of town and had some good reviews. The booking process couldn't have been easier and the communication was excellent. I travelled with 3 adults and one young toddler. A high quality cot was provided on request. The rooms were tidy with good quality beds and furniture. There was a TV with Netflix (if you have an account), SKY TV and digital channels, although I didn't really use it. The hot spas were simple and a little dated but clean and really refreshing. A great way to end the day. The best aspect of the stay were the staff. Nick was incredibly welcoming on our arrival. Later that day I had the chance to chat to Dani who was great with the toddler too. Although the rooms and spa were a little dated this did not detract from the excellent service and overall experience. In summary this was a fantastic place to stay. I will happily return here when I am in Rotorua next.

The staff here are truly amazing, so helpful and genuine. Ellen and Chloe are awesome, facilities are fantastic, nice and clean. We have stayed in a lot of places in Rotorua but this was the best. Will def stay here again.

Awesome place to stay. Best managed motel we've stayed in. Very clean, great facilities for families and couples - free bikes to borrow, heated pool and private mineral pools. Fantastic local knowledge which is generously shared with guests. Great location within walking distance from the lakefront and town. Outstanding sustainability initiatives. One little niggle - there were guests above who were inconsiderate about their partying which went on past midnight, sometimes on their balcony which disturbed other guests.

The best family motel in Rotorua. The swimming pool, mineral pools, bikes, scooters, bike wash station, bike storage station, bbq area and kids playground are simply the best. In the rooms the beds and linen quality are top quality and so comfortable. The best part is the owners and the staff, so super friendly, nothing is a hassle. They all love being at work and love people. Can’t recommend Aura highly enough. Can’t wait to come back again.

Definitely the number 1 choice for accomodation in Rotorua !! Great great service , ideal location , spacious & comfy room and did we mention the heated swimming pool ??? Our kids love the pool and spent lots of time in it ! It’s just so warm and cosy. Make sure you book in advance as they get full pretty quick

Lovely spa. Very clean, well presented and stylish for their utilitarian design rooms with nice amenities and steam powered heaters! Really cool and quirky signs too, which entertained me. No jokes, try the tap water too; nectar of the gods! Would stay again. Also VERY close to the beach and some good places for a monch.

Stayed in the deluxe suite with private courtyard and Jacuzzi. Family of 4. The room was perfect for our small family. Smart tv for the little ones to relax and watch netflix after a full day. While me and the hubby relaxed in our spa. Great privacy for us. Plenty of room in the well stocked kitchen and our boys loved it. Bbq pool and outdoor area was very tidy and spacious. Pool and mineral spa towels restocked during the day by staff and areas kept clean and tidy. Bikes available for free. Staff had great customer service. Excellent value for money. Thank you for the great hospitality family loved it.

Lovely hand written personal notes on arrival. Well appointed rooms with Sky, Freeview and Netflix access. Wonderful geothermal heated pool and BBQ area with geothermal food steamer. Great value for money! They took wonderful care of my family, my 4yo didn't want to leave.

Great family motel. Very friendly welcome, rooms are what you'd expect for an older place but very clean. Lots of nice touches like a French press in the cupboard and great coffee, fresh (!) milk in the fridge, amusing signs explaining things like how the hot water works, etc. Comfortable beds, small kitchenette, everything you need. Would stay again.

Great experience! But we recommend to improve more about the room facilities. Probably air exchange machine for others. However, the public facilities are so good. Swimming pools for the kids and hot pool. Also the bikes are great to rent for free. I will come back next time.

Actually perfect for a domestic winter getaway: thermal indoor heating, a hot outdoor pool (like 35 or something in the winter, you wont be cold), 2x mineral pools.. and they also provide free use of pool towels like a fricking resort! Was very well set up for contactless check in and check out which actually made things way more efficient. I was stoked. I will be back.

We had a lovely time here, we cooked our meal in their geo thermal steamer - salmon and veges - at it was delicious! The thermal pools where lovely too, also the staff where very helpful and very friendly, highly recommend! Nice place to go and relax

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They took the time to make sure we got the most out of our stay in Rotorua. A big, big plus is Aura being in walking distance of Eat Street. This place was in a very accessible and centrally located part of town. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at Aura with the family. The kids loved the trampoline and heated pool and we were very well looked after by the Aura team. The room and facilities were clean and in good shape. Another highlight being that Aura is centrally located and we could easily walk everywhere including the lake front, central precinct, Government Gardens and the Polynesian Spa. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff...clean rooms and well set out.2 thermal baths and heated swimming pool with towels available at no extra cost. Has a full mini kitchen and we were even given a carton of milk with the key so we could make a coffee. We could not rate this place highly enough. The only thing I would suggest is putting towel hooks in the bathroom. Highly recommended and would stay again.

I've stayed here 3 times and will never stay anywhere else in Rotorua. This is great value for money, the rooms are basic but very clean and spacious and very comfortable. The staff are so amazing I feel like I'm going to stay at an old friends house - they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and whatever the motel might lack (nothing) these guys make up for it!

Loved our stay at Aura in February. We stayed for 3 nights and it was just what we were looking for. The relaxed cool vibe of Aura was refreshing, our room was perfect, really spacious & perfect accommodation for a family. Location wise it's also perfect too, close to everything, eat street is just a short walk where you're spoilt for choice with lovely bars and restaurants. Terrace Kitchen by the lake is a must - i'd say it was the best breakfast we've ever had. Short walk to the lake or use the complimentary bikes from Aura that are available. The outdoor pool is amazing! lovely warm water, our boys loved it. the coffee at Aura is fantastic. Aura actively promotes environmental awareness - recycling boxes in the rooms & composting....wish more hotels were like this. Also you can skip the daily room service in return for the hotel donating 5 NZD to local causes...which is a fantastic idea.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aura and have no hesitation in recommending it to other guests wanting a hotel in Rotorua.

Lovely little spot to stay in Rotorua near town but in a quiet area. Totally doable without a car if needed. Rooms small but comfortable and with lots of amenities. Only downside is the tiny sink in the kitchen makes it hard to do dishes.

Awesome group of staff who are very helpful. Great location. Clean rooms and a great heated pool! Would definitely recommend to people and would come back in a heartbeat 😊

Really nice place. Simple but as expected and very clean. Management are lovely and make the difference. The outdoor heated pool is fantastic.

Stayed for one night. The staff there was friendly. They had free bicycles for guest use. The room was clean but it was a bit rusted. The geothermal heating outdoor swimming pool was great. They also had two indoor hot spring spas. The signal of the free wifi was not great. The place was close to the park and lake.

We stayed for 6 nights over the school holidays and it couldn't have been better. The location is great, with the lake and 'Eat Streat' only a few minutes walk away. The thermally heated pool was always a great temperature and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We'll certainly be back to stay again 😀

Fantastic place in every way. Ideal location near the lake, great room, lots to occupy the kids, incredible natural hot spa! Bikes to ride around the lake. Cannot overstate how excellent the service was—we were well looked after. Great stay.

Great experience staying here!! Awesome location, right in town and walking distance to Eat Street. Pool is a huge draw card and the owners are super friendly. Clean, tidy and a comfy bed means I'll be back my next time Im in Rotorua. Highly recommend!

Nick greeted us warmly. He took his time orienting us to the property, room and local neighborhood. Both of his restaurant recommendations -especially Atticus Finch, were spot on. I borrowed a bicycle twice to commute to a massage and to the public lap pool. We used the laundry and were given laundry detergent. Even after we checked out the staff stored our luggage and helped us by arranging a rental car from RAD which was 1/3 the price of the one I was going to hire. We only stayed for one night and wished we had not booked other accommodations. Next time we will stay Aura all the way.

Friendly hosts, chatty but not intrusive. Nice clean units, well appointed and serviced. Excellent heated pool where you are encouraged to have fun. Gas bbq provided next to the pool.

We have just spent QB weekend at this motel and had the best stay, the owners and staff are amazing - so helpful . Our boys LOVED the outdoor pool and hot pools. The location is perfect for getting to places - the personal message on the blackboard for our group was awesome thanks, and the personalised emails and messages are so great much better than the generic ones sent by other places..... we will be back

There are a lot of things about Aura that we liked: 1. The rooms were clean and recent remodeled. 2. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had suggestions for our activities and we enjoyed all of their recommendations. 3. We accidentally left a pair of binoculars behind when we checked out. We were called by the Nick (an owner) who then proceeded to ship them to us at our next stop. This felt above and beyond the call of duty to us. If you are going to Rotorua, we recommend you stay here. Thanks Nick!

This was a great stay in Rotorua. We stayed here for the Marathon in May. About 500 meters to the start line and then to come back and go into the Hot pools, it was bliss. The room was excellent and the staff extra friendly and helpful. We will be back next year. Thanks heaps

We came to Rotorua for the Tarawera Ultra Marathon and everyone was just SOOO lovely. Personalised note in our room when we arrived, and then three personalised notes congratulating the three of us (and a wee gift in the fridge) for when we'd finished. Definitely well above and beyond what we'd have expected. Unfortunately, we were too tired at the end of the day to check out the thermal pools, but they looked lovely and the pool also looked like heaps of fun. Super location really handy to shops and eateries. I'd definitely stay again next time. Thanks so much to all the staff who made us feel so special.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and were so happy with it. Kylie was super helpful with sharing her local knowledge (e.g. where to see hot springs, Maori villages and gardens) and was so friendly! This hotel has two free hot baths that you can't use privately and a free bbq that we used. Rooms were neat and tidy. Thanks guys!

The team at Aura are super accommodating, it felt like we were staying with mates! The rooms had great quality glassware and the central location was perfect walking distance to town and the events center.

Good budget accomodation in heart of Rotorua. Close to centre of town. Well appointed rooms comfortable bed and bathroom was modern and clean. Good facilities with outdoor pool and hot pools. Bonus spa pool on our deck.

Awesome motel. Staff are amazing which made all the difference. The lady with the dyed hair could not do enough for you. She was even lending out her own Bluetooth speaker for us to use by the pool. BBQ with all the utensils and oil, salt & pepper and herb garden to use. The coup de grace though is the "steam box". Kiwis will know how to use this but for the overseas tourists just ask the lovely staff and I'm sure they will help as you can cook in this and will not regret it. We had 2 beautiful hangi's in there. Thank you all and will definitely be back.

Kia Ora. Stayed for one night in Aura Accomodation, Rotorua. The motel located in nice location, close to lake and also the city central. A clean and cozy environment. The staff are helpful and friendly. Overall, everything is excellent. Definitely will be my first choice to stay over again and recommend to my friends and family.

This is a fab place for families who are travelling around NZ. A positive and friendly welcome and free bikes and scooters for the children mean that they self entertain for a bit! Ideally situated close to eat street and close to the park and shore this is a go to Place!
