We stayed 3D2N in January 2025. Room is clean and very spacious, including the bathroom. It doesn't have air conditioning which would have been good for a hot summer. But it has a good fan as an alternative. Conveniently located close to the Central Mall and everything else.

Great location close to everything. We had a king bed with a spa and enjoyed the bed and spa. The shower was a great pressure to. Very clean room. We have been before sure to return. They seem to have a few runners from the marathon there. It's a good place to stay.

2nd time staying here , and I must say I'd come back again and again , lovely warm rooms , nice tidy little kitchen big tvs with sky television , comfy beds , beautiful shower , and a nice private spa pool outside our ranch slider bedroom door, friendly staff and lovely management , and very welcoming and helpful

My partner and I stayed here for my birthday. This was an awesome stay. The hot tub was beautiful, especially in the rough weather we had that weekend. Check-in was easy, and check out even easier. An awesome staff member came around to restock linen on our 2nd day. Highly recommend this place to stay. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom executive suite (I think) with the private patio and hot tub, family of 2adults, 2 teens. Pretty happy with the accommodation. Loved the hot tub! Even had an ice cube tray in the freezer cubby. On one of the main streets of Rotorua though a couple km from the city centre, a nice quiet area. Room serviced daily which was nice. Few small things they could improve on (more towel hooks, place to try togs etc) but nothing major. Would happily recommend and stay at again.

Really nice overnight stay. The King size bed was amazing, crisp and clean as was the entirety of the apartment. The spa bath (upstairs apartment) was awesome & fast to fill. Improvements could be a light above the bathroom basin and a long length mirror. No Air Con along with only two windows that can only be opened a smidge was a little daunting as the room was warm overnight, however there was a great fan that worked really well. Didn't see the point in having Sky available when the Motel didn't have Movie Channels included :-( Our kitchen was appropriately equipped with everything needed, our check in was pleasant and we enjoyed watched the family dogs antics the next morning, the best boy ever, which certainly reflects on the dog's owners. We would stay here again.

I booked for 4nights. The place is located within walking distances to shops etc. The spa suite I had booked was not as good as I thought it would be. I wasn't aware the cleaning services would be done everyday whilst I stayed there. My second day there my bed was made up, towels changed and everything was neat. However the day after until our stay, only our towels and bins were changed daily which I don’t mind however I felt like I always had to take my suitcases/all my belongings with me in my car everywhere I went. Theres no reserved parking which I feel like each room should have their own parking so we don’t have to park far away from our door. Other than that, friendly service.

Was advertised as a luxury hotel due to its name. We chose it because of the spa. Unfortunately the spa area was very slippery due to the moss, mould and fungus. The rooms were pleasant although the bathroom was not hygienic. Behind the toilet had not been cleaned properly for quite awhile. Very dusty and built up grime. Also skirting throughout and areas behind doors had not been cleaned for quite a while. Marble tiles at entrance way were very slippery and dangerous. A good steam clean and a general professional steam clean would definitely be advisable.

Friendly service. The rooms are spacious we always have a comfortable, peaceful sleep. Having Simba around is am added bonus! Have stayed a few times now and will continue to stay here in the future. They are very accommodating for people traveling with mountain bikes.

Thank you so much The motel was perfect, clean, the bed in the room was huge and comfortable. The pillows were the best. The spa pool was honestly the best. Really cosy place. My boyfriend and I booked the executive suite with a hot tub. Although the hot tub didn’t work when we first arrived, the owner quickly fixed this for us without issue. Lovely place with super friendly staff. The family dog, Simba, is an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks team!

This place is so so good, amazing receptionist who was very helpful and welcoming. Great little rooms great TV of cource. The only thing that I think they could add would be a air conditioning unit even though they cost a bit, at the moment there is just a fan. But apart from that wonderful spa and bath room. 👍👍👌

We stayed 2 Nights- Motel was very clean, comfortable bed, and the spa was absolutely awesome. Very spacious as well as warm n cosy too. So close and handy to everything you need. Although the owners were differcult to understand when talking, as I asked for extra towels. I would still give the Motel 5/5 and I loved their beautiful Dog, so gorgeous. Highly recommended Motel.

It is a nice motel with everything you need for a short stay. You probably can't expect it to be a five star hotel, however, it is definitely beyond the standard of many motels in town. It is run by a really nice couple who were always happy to help. They offered really useful advice on where to go and what to do so I did not need to spend hours and hours doing research myself.The room that I lived in was clean and of descent size. The motel itself is conveniently located and we can get around easily. I would love to go back there again when I visit Rotorua next time.

Nice clean quiet motel. Good location. Air conditioning would be a great addition in the hot months. Bit weird, when signing the normal form to say we would not smell the place out with cooking was instructed that we could not cook at all. Not sure what the hot plate and microwave is for😝

Nice staff, very helpful with information regarding the surrounding attractions. The room was comfortable with a private bathtub (with jacuzzi), clean and spacious. The location is about 1km from the city centre, but it's very convenient for exiting the city and access the attractions without much traffic.

A nice well maintained unit with decent sized TV and good bathroom facilities, but the kitchen had limited utensils if you want to cook a meal. But really no complaints overall, would be happy to stay here again.

This place is ok for short stay. The apartment was large & clean but needed some refurbishment. (Seems to be norm in NZ.) There is no food here. Breakfast was suggested across the road, but the cafe doesn't open till 9am! Not good if you have an early start

Clean and secure with so many motels nearby being emergency accommodation. Allowed early check in and did not disturb while curtains shut without having to put sign out!. Racecourse just across the road and Rydges is full with quarantine.
