C.Extremely friendly and welcoming. Used the washing machine ($4) and ideal drying conditions either on outside line or on poles in laundry room - heated by thermal underfloor heating and very efficient. We enjoyed both the pool and the sulphur pool . There is so much to do in Rotorua and Willy and Cherie give very good advice.
Would certainly stay there again if in the area.
R.Not sure if it's spelt Cherie or Sheree but she and willy were awesome hosts! Oh and cute lil Rocky too! (their dog), honestly was the best place I've stayed on my 2 week journey out of all the others! lots of space and beds in the rooms, clean bedding and tidy, awesome pool and hot tub, I wasn't interested in the Netflix but it's good to see the extras available as well as free WiFi, pull out couches, bbq, laundry, kitchenette, walk to shops and room for parking.. seriously.. apart from the smell of the town (which we joked about and got used to) I highly recommend Fernleaf Motel if you want an honest, friendly, reliable and affordable accommodation. They just make you feel so welcome and happy to be in Rotorua. Cheers for the awesome vacay :)

M.Clean and spacious rooms, full kitchens, great swimming pool and mineral bath!
The owners were extremely hospitable and quick to change out anything we needed in the rooms. (They have the cutest little motel dog running around too!)
If I'm ever in Rotorua I would definitely book here again

G.new ownership, 10/10 service, great friendly. Great place for families, lovely clean tidy rooms, 2 blocks from service station, mall & 5 min drive to rotorua lake. will be back again, and I highly recommend a stay here.
J.Very comfortable and quiet motel. The internal heating system is superb for cold weather and 65inch Smart TV with Netflix and most other Apps a welcome distraction.
K.Booked fr the labour long weekend break getaway full kitchen utilities - comfortable beds, great showers, own carpark space, very clean tidy modernised unit with daily housecleaning. Motel private mineral pool & secured heated outdr pool all year round. Bonus was having Netflix & wifi access we're definitely coming back.

S.Super nice owners who go out of their way to make sure you are happy and have a good knowledge of Rotorua. Comfortable rooms and beds. The pool and mineral pool are delightful.
P.Clean and tidy. Hot water issues; Unit water near scolding at most times but runs out (goes like warm) with heavy usage. Facility needs to look into installing water tempering valve to moderate temperature and increase hot water capacity.

S.(Translated) Simple but sufficient motel for a short stay in Rotorua. It has a pool with hot water available to guests. The room where we stayed was equipped with a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and two burners. The bathroom consisted of a small shower and separate toilet. There was a TV with Netflix. It has parking inside the motel. All the facilities were clean and the owner received us very kindly. The WiFi worked correctly. Good value for money.
The space in the room was a bit fair and the table to eat quite small. The kitchen allows you to cook only the basics. They are not new facilities.

Motel sencillo pero suficiente para una estancia corta en Rotorua. Dispone de piscina con agua caliente a disposición de los huéspedes. La habitación donde nos alojamos estaba equipada con una pequeña cocina con nevera, microondas y dos fuegos. El baño constaba de una pequeña ducha y WC separado. Había una TV con Netflix. Dispone de aparcamiento dentro del motel. Todas las instalaciones estaban limpias y el propietario nos recibió con mucha amabilidad. El WiFi funcionaba correctamente. Buena relación calidad/precio.
El espacio de la habitación era un poco justo y la mesa para comer bastante pequeña. La cocina permite cocinar únicamente lo básico. No son instalaciones nuevas.
