d.Was better before.. not as good now. Have stayed thrice at this place. Place needs renovation.
T.Immaculately presented motel and great location close to everything. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and good showers. The management are very friendly and helpful.
E.The spa is not continuously maintained and it shows as well as the roof above it. You can see the build up of dirt. Curtains are falling off the rail and the carpet is wearing through in some areas. Otherwise it was clean and well presented. It is also in a good area being close to town with not too much road noice.
S.Very comfortable and enjoyed the spa bath. The place is worn and in need of maintenance. In these covid times I would understand this is difficult specially with tourist numbers virtually non existent. I would stay again when improvements made.
A.Great friendly management and staff. They have been very helpful and have not minded any extras we have asked for, just given me a smile.
A.The staff were really helpful and the rooms were clean. We even had a hot tub which was great to use. Decor is in need of an upgrade but no problems with the facilities. We were a few minutes walk from two supermarkets so had choice and easy access for supplies.
S.On behalf of my inlaws..... Staff was very friendly and made our experience memorable and comfortable. Went out the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The facilities were excellent and a good price to match what you got. Fantastic and comfortable beds and a wonderful size spa bath/almost like a normal size spa pool inside that could fit my husband and myself (we are plus size). Kitchen facilities were the best I have seen so far comparing from other motels I have been too.
A.We had a nice small room with another little room for the kids double bed for us and double bed for the kids, paid 209 for the night, had a spa sized bath which was great and it was nice and clean :)
R.I've stayed twice now at this motel. The first time was when I first came to NZ 25 odd years ago with my parents. The second was the second weekend of August 2019. I have to say the motel is a bit outdated. The room we stayed in was clean. It had it's own spa which is very nice to use. Light fixtures could do with a bit of update.
Overall not too bad. I would definitely stay here again. Another huge plus is that the motel is a 2 minute walk from Oppies Fish and Chips!
J.Golden glow does not put on airs and graces...it is an aged motel, at a very reasonable price. Our rooms were spacious, and did the job. We washed laundry here, and the drying room whilst elderly is a f antastic thing. No iron in the room, but in less than a minute, I had an iron and ironing board. I couldn,t make a half star, otherwise i would have given 3 1/2. For effort to make us comfortable, I would give mine hosts a four out of five...nothing was too much trouble. I have stayed in much dearer motels for far less space and far worse customer service. Well done guys.
M.It was a roof over our head in the first city we arrived in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean and the hot tub in the room was disgusting. It's in a decent location to get places by car/Uber. Thankfully our excursions had shuttles to/from.
A.Had a great stay with family here, our 2 little ones loved the spa pool. The room is clean and comfortable. Owned by 2 young, welcoming and very helpful young couple. Would highly recommend.

A.We stayed here with our 2 little ones for 3 nights, and loved it. Totally relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, roomy, had everything we needed, and so cheap to do washing! Will definitely come back :)

Y.the plus factor for this motel is the location which is walkable to everything like shops, restaurants, village... the kids love the pool spa though... for an overnight stay - this will work.
B.Very nice motel with quiet and confortable bedroom, privat spa, all services included. The best location between city center, lake and thermal, sulfur points and Te Puia Pohutu geyser. We are very enjoyed. Perfect journey in Rotorua.

H.What a lovely place to stay we went to rotorua for my sons touch tournament IPS for 2 days we stayed here at golden glow motel for two nights we were booked into the family suite was very nice me and my husband had our own room and my two boys were in the front with a single bed each and TV with sky the kitchen was very nice had everything from pot, pans etc it was like we were home with all the essentials you could use to cook a meal, was very clean the highlight of our stay was probably the the private spa pool right outside of our room all four of us could fit in but overall it was a lovely place to stay and very affordable
M.Very understanding kind and beautiful prompt service given by reception, rooms for all kinds of singles to groups at a cheap price, a must to try.
K.Good value, in middle of town, room was clean, had geothermal heaters so it was warm and cozy and the staff was friendly and helpful.
O.It was so fun with its own spa and it was convenient coz everything was like, 2 minutes walk away. And BONUS there is a shop across the road but be careful it's a busy road

T.旅館位於羅托路亞市中心，附近有餐館超市等等，非常方便。旅館本身也非常乾淨整潔，看來應該是翻新完沒多久。車位也很充足。另外，旅館負責人也很好。
