A.Staff really attentive , been quite impressive actually, MIQ gets bad press alot but I beg to differ big time here. Food in the main great, coffee delivered no bother,laundry, rubbish, swapping seem less, wifi brilliant five devices, bed very comfortable loads of pillows helps this, shower high pressured, view ok, air conditioning first class, tv brilliant sky sports all channels, great work station and great insulation don't hear neighbours at all thank god they don't hear me on my teams calls working in UK through the nights.
C.MIQ all the staffs are kind and friendly. Thank you for all your hard work 🙏💖. Everyone has a family, but for everyone’s safety, you selflessly dedicate yourself. The view from the room is beautiful. Enjoy the stay with Mickeys who are from Disneyland Los Angeles
A.The rooms are small. Meals had items missing. Staff attitude is good and helpful to help get missing items to you.
R.hmmm... am here for managed isolation. can't see or do much. All i know is staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food is sent 3 times a day to the room. Food tastiness 3 out of 5. But still am grateful for the kind of services we received. therefore 4 stars :-)

J.Booked online through a 3rd party and this was followed by an easy and friendly booking in experience. The hotel provides limited secure parking and additional parking in front of the hotel. Movement is made secure with your two door cards which also controls late entrance access and the lifts. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Eat Street location. Recommended.
L.stayed 3 nights with a toddler. perfect location. Walking distance to all of town. A great waterfront park, well used. Staff were very helpful and On our last day when staffing was at a minimum and we required assistance with baggage to the car. A lovely young Tasha came to help while she was being relieved for her break. It was early morning and buses were loading. She helped us with kindness, patience and a lovely calm demeanor. This was a perfect staywith atoddler. Cot provided by the hotel.
E.Simple but very comfortable accomodations with very friendly and professional staff! Breakfast was nice (we loved the bird presence on the patio) and the bed was very comfortable. You can also use the hot tub of a hotel across the parking lot. The only issue we had was with the neighbors of the room next to ours - they were throwing a very loud party on Christmas Eve late and we couldn't sleep. However, the front desk staff dealt with it - while the first phone call didn't quiet the inconsiderate neighbors, the lovely front desk gentleman went upstairs, knocked on their door and asked them to quiet down, and we much appreciated this as we got some sleep after that. The next night we didn't hear a peep from the next room and were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here in Rotorua.
J.I enjoyed staying at ibis. I was able to settle in quickly after a long day of travel. They have a bar and restaurant onsite so you can order food and have it in your room within 30mins. The views arent great but the space is clean and tidy.
T.The location of the hotel is great and convenient. I was greeted with a smile on numerous occasions. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. Great value at peak season. Could hear running water through vent in room during the middle of the night.
T.On reception was extremely helpful and welcoming. Location way good. In terms of the room all well cleaned. For those who are driving, the hotel offers complimentary parking. We found our room is okay. Offered free breakfast for our stay, gratefully accepted. The rooms are very nicely decorated.
S.A very nice 2 day stay. Breakfast was plentiful and it is situated very conveniently in an area where there is a whole arcade of restaurants. The front office staff are very friendly and welcoming. At the top of the road is a Cat Cafe with a fabulous ice cream cafe.
S.Tidy, clean rooms. A bit small but it did the job. There wasn't a chair for us to use at the desk area so had to get one from dining room. Also the rooms are very dimly lit. Not good if you have bad eyesight or wanting to read or, looking for the odd sock.
T.Room was very comfortable. The room itself has had the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. The lighting in the room was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a very wide selection. Could hear people coming out of the lift all night long and arguing from guest through the night.
T.The room was quiet very comfortable. A rain shower was a nice touch. Beds were well padded for cosy comfort but springs were firm. The Staff were great. Got upgraded ,so room with a fantastic view. Would expect more value for the money. Will return in the future A.
S.The cleaning team are very lovely people. It's a good budget place to stay and you get access to the gym and novotel facilities that the Ibis doesn't have. For my friend and I we had a double bed in the room and there was also a single bed by itself. The views of the lake aren't bad, it's very pretty and you can see a lot of the lake but it's not on the waterfront.

A.Good accommodation. Sink in bathroom very slow to empty. TV in rooms limited. Only sport 1 and 2. We wanted Sky Sport 3 to catch up with the cricket.
No brandy!!!! at the bar for an evening relaxing after dinner. (Both Sky3 and brandy was available at Novotel next door, but did not want to walk back there again). Reception and restaurant staff were great
L.Good location walking distance from the restaurant street and basic rooms, appreciated the complementary access to the novetel spa and pool facilities. Do have to really question the decision to not have room delivery of towels and such, seems short sighted and cheap to expect customers to pick up from down stairs. If you are willing to pay a little extra, the novatel next door looks much nicer.
m.Although a fairly nice room, i felt the service was shocking - namely, room service. I stayed for 3 nights and one night I dialed for room service and after about 4 attempts couldn't get through so I walked down to give my order. After informing them about the phone saga I gave my order then they told me that they'd ring when my food will be ready to pick up!! Room service!!??!! so as not to make a scene, I obliged...but gosh, you guys must have a different definition of room service.
B.First class customer service. We've stayed here a number of times and our experience has always been good.
It is our latest visit however that was the highlight of all experiences as whilst ibis was out of rooms as was all of Rotorua by chance, the staff still went out of their way ringing every place in the book to find us a place to stay all while providing a comfortable place for us to rest after our long journey and sustenance to keep the kids going.
We'll done ibis Rotorua! Highly highly recommended to all and you can count on us to be back in the future!
S.Cool stay. Reception guy was very friendly. Had several employees knocking the door at morning (we didn't use the sign). Free ice cream. Good location.lake view was that good tho.
c.Great location. In town with the Lake right there. You know what you expect with ibus and they always deliver. Staff are very welcoming and more than helpful. Rooms are clean, tidy and well appointed. Beds are great, just right for a quite restful nights sleep before you attack another day of fun in Rotorua.
R.Booked for king bed room two months in advance, wrote in two weeks ahead to advise that we would like a cleaner room, not like the dirtier ones reviewed on TripAdvisor, got a reply that they will try to assign a comfortable room.
Got an old frayed room, and not even the room I booked for, got a twin instead! What's even the point...
Update: after saying they were booked out for the weekend, they moved us to the room we booked for the next day.
D.The Wi-Fi was out when we got there; the concierge sent us to McDonald's to use their internet. Our room was also not ready at the appointed check in time, so a star off for each offense.
Once they got us a room (20 minute wait), and figured out their internet situation (hours later), things were fine.
O.Room was fine with a nice view, but the bathroom wasn't so good as the shower leaked water into the bathroom area. The check in queue wait time was also unusually long compared to other hotels, despite having already done an online check in - having more than one staff at the check in counter would have sped things up here significantly. The express check out service was excellent though as we didn't have to wait in the queue to check out.
M.Small typical Ibis rooms...very clean which is great. However, I find it too stingy on the little things...wifi is too expensive even with the complimentary 30 mins in the lobby! TV's stations are shocking and the shampoo had already been used. We haggled the price down to 99 for one night which is what another hotel had offered and really that is all I'd be willing to pay for this Ibis. But the room was really clean and that kept me happy.
A.Lovely staff, super comfy beds however one had wasn't 100% clean. WiFi is very slow. Good value for money though. The views were nice and the room was tidy and the showers were good quality.
A.Great value for the price we paid. Rooms were comfortable and staff friendly. Let down a little bit by a congestion around lifts and the front desk. The wifi is also very slow to the point it’s hardly worth using.
P.Nice hotel.They mucked up my sons an I Room first night. Asked for room with 2 big beds.for 2 niggts.wouldnt be in till 6 as in rotorua fir grandsons national Touch Tournament. They rung me at 11 am.to make sure we still wanted it.confirmed.got there no room. Gave room king roll away bed king bed. Same price. Wasnt happy as Rotorua.was booked out. Ok for next night. My son is adult. Had to take it.free dinner. But find out.pizza or burgers there menus. So we had a drink.girl behind bar excellent.nibbles with drinks.but i tired to wait for dinner so i ordered but but no room servive had to come down get it an take up to room my self.son went out. Next night proper room.but wont stay again for high price.towels seems at sides coming apart.no flannels.
T.The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was generally very clean. Room rates are reasonable for the type of hotel. The breakfast spread is ample to start off the day. Excellent service from the front desk. Would stay here over the Millennium Rotorua (twice the price) any day.
D.For an international hotel to not have complimentary wifi access is unacceptable. Add to that, once you pay and connect, the wifi is slow and intermittent at best. The breakfast is overpriced, as is most of the food. There are certainly better options in the area.
M.Room is clean and tidy but the bathroom sucks. Shower door is like slimy (eww!) seems like it hasn't been washed for ages! Same with the sink and the toilet. I'll give room service a 4 though. Our stay was okay apart from the yucky bathroom. Try scrubbing a bit more guys and you'll be sweet! ;-)
S.Efficient and simple. Nothing terrible but nothing amazing either. One plus is accessible to the Novotel mineral spa area. Unfortunately you do have to go outside and currently in end June it is near freezing to do so. Would have been better of they established some connection between the hotels that guests could use (they are connected for staff).
C.It's alright. Rooms are clean and we have one with a great view of the lake. The shower head though is fixed to the wall at shoulder height (I'm 6ft so not abnormally tall) which is annoying, and the WiFi is just terrible.
I.Great hotel to be in while in isolation
A.Good location, less facilities.
Pool in Novotel next door, 200 meters away. Kids love walking there as it feels like an adventure, walking through walkway without lights.
Will opt for Novotel next time, unless just for sleep in, then can go for Ibis.
L.Stayed for 14 nights (managed isolation) and the team was amazing. Always smiling, there was nothing they couldn’t do. Thanks all for making the stay great
B.Cheap and cheerful. Rooms tiny in typical Ibis style. Location is really great. I found the beds to be too hard so I didn't get a great nights sleep. I could hear the person snoring in the room next door (he probably thought the same of me though!)

A.The Ibis was a comfortable size room but neat and tidy, with tea and coffee provided in the room (however no hot chocolate).
Bed is a little on the hard side and found myself waking up a few times during the night but otherwise a satisfactory stay.
D.Can’t complain. Service was fine, the room was everything we asked for. The location is perfect. Will stay again most definitely when we visit again.

M.Cramped room with roll away bed taking up space. Shower tiny and with poorly maintained plumbing. Vanity scratched and worn. Towels not replace although we asked for them to be - don't normally do so but there was no towel rack to dry them on.
S.Good location. Had a comfortable night sleep . My only concern was the carpet which needed serious cleaning . Otherwise the staff is welcoming and it's good value for money.

P.The room was fine, clean... the cleaners and junior reception staff were friendly and very helpful... however there was no wifi provided and the customer service representative (an older man) was condescendingly dismissive of my suggestion that free wifi is now the norm and certainly a differentiating factor for many travellers.

C.Rangiuru St, Rotorua 3010 Near the maori restaurant. (1min walk) Slightly bigger than ibis ellerslie but still relatively small. Also near lake rotorua. 2 queen size beds. Most basic tools are provided except tooth brushes and pastes. The shower is poorly built.
T.Great accomodation with views of lake. Central location and off street parking. Did not enjoy buffet breakfast. Below average and do not recommend
R.For a budget hotel it is very comfortable and relaxed. A bonus is you can use all the facilities at the Novotel next door.

장점은 호텔 주변 산책하기 좋고 직원이 친절합니다. 그리고 코인세탁기 곳곳마다 돈을주고 사용했는데 평균4에서 저렴하면 2 건조까지하면 대부분 하루 8달러인데 가장 큰 장점은 코인세탁기와 건조기가 무료로 이용이 가능하다는게 아닐까 싶네요. 단점은 와이파이를 로비에서 1시간인가? 이용이 가능하고 이후는 돈을 지불해야하는걸로 알고있는데 저는 로밍해서 크게 불편함이 없었는데 그래도 먼가 와이파이는 무료여야 맘이 놓여서...욕실도 구분이 안되서 샤워시 조금 불편했습니다. 그거말곤 좋네요!

房間內光線有點暗，淋浴間是用浴簾遮蔽，所以不免整間濕濕的，房間乾淨，早餐滿好吃，飯店位置很好，附近晚上有夜市遊樂園

コ.立地はロトルア湖畔・市街地ともに近く便利だった。部屋はコンパクトながら、清潔で問題なかった。ただし1泊だけだったので、ホテルのサービスをほとんど利用しなかった。また雨続きで天候に恵まれず、木曜日のフリーマーケットが中止になるなど徒歩での周辺観光が楽しめず、ホテルの立地が生かせず残念だった。
T.酒店很好，我觉得比民宿好，冬天民宿太冷了。宜必思暖气和设施都不错，我们是会员，还有欢迎酒券。总之建议大家不要住民宿，有的在地下室，付完费了，后悔也不行。还是要选离湖景近的酒店！比较靠谱

K.ニュージーランド訪問で是非とも行きたかったのがロトルア、温泉にも入れ、またゴンドラで夜景も無理事が出来た。イートストリートに近いこともあり、夜遅くまでうまいクラフトビールを飲むこともできた。翌朝はクイラウパークの温泉池を見る事も出来た。
