Nice staff. Heated pool. Looks like they are under staffed since the lockdown. You have to collect your own food and drinks from the restaurant if you order from the poolside. If you want it delivered, you will have to pay extra for that. The rooms are dated and need an upgrade

Best holiday my family and I have ever had. I can't fault anything. The service was superb. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The kids loved the pool. The gym was great. Rooms were very clean. We were on the top floor and had a wonderful view of Lake Rotorua. I also recommend the food as my family had breakfast every day. My wife and I loved the big breakfast and the kids loved the waffles and hot chocolate. All very reasonably priced. We will be back.
V.
We had a great night stay. Just a disappointment that the main bar was closed
And the second bar did not do any cocktails.
Dinner at the restaurant was great. Nice and clean rooms too.
D.
Great stay at Millennium for work trip. Very friendly and accommodating staff, great swimming pool and delicious breakfast, just pricey. Used conference spaces which worked well for our group. Child friendly. Would recommend and would stay again.
D.
Hotel is nice, beds are very comfortable and staff are friendly. Covid has dampened to weekend away experience with no room service & limited facilities.
N.
Everything about staying here was AMAZING. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the hospitality was on point. Will definitely recommend Millennium Hotel Rotorua... Thank you so much Team...
L.
Stayed here with 2 children. Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. The thermal pool was the high light. I was disappointed with the state of the room. Though it was fairly clean, lovely and warm and very tidy it was extreamly tired . Scuff marks on doors . Bumps in carpet and curtains and drapes that were torn. Come on Millennium you can do better.

Visited in April, the room was clean, great facilities, fridge didn't really work, wifi was spotty due to large number of people who stayed there for the conference. Yummy buffet breakfast. Great staff. The only negative part there a lack of cohesion or maybe lack of staff at the restaurant. We had to wait for dinner for over an hour and there were only about 8 diners. As the wait staff, were also the checking in people and also working the bar. This caused lot of confusion of where to pay or order. The food was not amazing. Other than that a pleasant experience
R.
Comfy beds, warm pool, good gym and tasty buffet breakfast. Would definitely go back here. Some services have been reduced due to covid, but overall good experience and friendly staff.
Tip ...take jandals and a robe as the pool can be a bit of a walk away and bath robes not provided.
r.
Bed are really comfy.. And swimming i. The pool was cool in the evening food and service was Awsome and very good wait staff so professional and looked after us
S.
Fantastic all round. I could not fault our stay at all. Breakfast was impeccable as was the staff service.
Beds were super comfortable, the pool was amazing. It was child friendly too!
We loved our stay and we will definitely stay again!
B.
Found this hotel to be so underrated! It was an amazing stay perfect for couples and families! The facilities the pool and spa are some of the best in hotels
S.
The room was comfy and warm, the heated pool was lovely, breakfast was pretty good although the eggs were almost cold both mornings. Our biggest disappointment was that the spa pools were closed for maintenance two out of three days of our stay. If we'd known this, we would have booked a different hotel
D.
Lovely and clean however you don't always get what you pay for. Service still prompt and good. We stay here when ever we are in Rotorua. Will stay again.
R.
I've stayed here 3 different times over the course of a few years and haven't been disappointed with any aspect of the accomodation. The deluxe spa rooms are quite a nice place to relax between outings. And the standard rooms are clean and spacious. I'd give the sound proofing between rooms a 9/10.
Also happy you can opt for partial room service rather than none or all.
Buffet breakfast quality is extremely good and there was never a lack of food available. Espresso coffee is available for a cost and the quality could rival some cafes in town.
The heated pool is quite large and the 16+ spa pool area is a welcomed cost free addition to your stay for some R&R. Normal spa services are offered but I have yet to use them.
Complimentary unlimited wifi is great, but depending on where your room is located you could miss out as their coverage seems slightly spotty, but I'm just nit-picking.
A.
Overall I am pleasantly surprised by the standard of amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is just awesome, even for someone like me who is not a breakfast person.
I.
Perfect location. The lake view room is a delight. Definitely still our go to hotel in Rotorua. Breakfast is acceptable. Scrambled egg is avoidable, best to order fried eggs from the waistress yum! Best of all is the POOL! The family loves it!
K.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Millennium Rotorua. We were 4 families travelling together on the Away to go deal. Your rooms were clean and beds were comfy too. Our children spent many hours in the heated pool. We enjoyed your huge selection of breakfast everyday and the dinner was amazing - compliments to the chef!
Staff are professional and friendly :-)
Close to all amenities
J.
Overall everything was very average. The shower had a wide thin spray and the facilities felt tired. The staff were friendly but not very forth coming with helpful information. It is also worth noting that the restaurant is either closed on Sunday and Monday or when there aren't enough guests booked in. I received both explanations.
D.
Lovely staff, great welcoming and nice buffet breakfast. Coffee seemed a shortfall somewhat as for breakfast, coffee was extra yet tea was included. Personally hate rooms where you need to get water for your kettle from the bathroom as there's no sink to wash your tea cups by the unit where you make hot drinks and rooms were a little tired. Great swiming facilities and lovely garden.
C.
Such an amazing experience! The pool, rooms and service is above and beyond! Felt so special for my 21st birthday ☺️ Favourite place to stay in Rotorua. Definitely recommend staying here!
Q.
Decent hotel in Rotorua. Staff were friendly and attentive and they have a heated outdoor pool with an overhead cover that can be deployed for rainy days. Breakfast was on the average end, but they did serve mushrooms which was unusual for buffet styled breakfast. The rooms were clean and facilities adequate but a bit dated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here the next time I'm Rotorua.
J.
Friendly staff and the pool is AMAZING the beds were comfy and the lake views was awesome 👌
L.
Awesome place, awesome facilities, great pools, friendly staff , will definitely be back
A.
Totally enjoyed my spa treatments while the children enjoyed the indoor year round pool. Our room was very comfortable and clean I had a fantastic sleep, lovely bed, and the view over the garden with the tui's singing in the morning was stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with a very tasty soup, could eat that every day. We loved the inclusive breakfast and the service staff were amazing.
J.
Wonderful place to stay. I stayed here a few times many years ago and it was really awesome then. Very well priced. Staff, as expected, are very professional and very friendly. Our favorite place to stay. Stay there, you'll love it.....oh, breakfast was awesome.
B.
A great location, the spa pools are very nice 😊
J.
Easy front desk booking system. Great room overlooking the lake. Well positioned to walk to the numerous venues in the town.
S.
Really nice to visit & stay in a well presented & welcoming hotel in Rotorua.
Dinner in the Nikau Resturant was superb. Food was presented well & taste was even better.
Great Facillities- yes its decor is getting a little dated but the welcome, service,& food make staying here really worthwhile.
C.
We have stayed at the Rotorua Millennium more than a dozen times over the years. It was our go to place for a nice mid-winter break when our kids were younger. They loved the indoor pool and we enjoyed the spa baths right next door or sitting under the heaters with a good book. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is getting a little dated and some bits tired, but overall is well maintained and very neat. Lake View rooms are the best for great views and a balcony for afternoon drinks. There are adjoining room options if needed. The room service menu seems to be a bit average now, but there’s plenty good food within easy walking distance from the hotel. The government gardens and lake front walks are on your doorstep. We’ve found the staff and treatments at the in hotel spa to be better prices, more relaxing and with friendlier staff than Polynesian pools across the road. There’s plenty parking around the hotel.
D.
We were a group 12. Staff were very welcoming from check in to check out. Clean rooms, comfy beds, parking onsite, swimming pool opens til late. Very close to restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall excellent service.
K.
Ok place, bed firm and clean towels, However found a cockroach in one of the rooms.
B.
Fantastic hotel. Warm welcome, clean, tidy & presentable. Lovely rooms, hall ways & lifts. Stunning pool & spa. Breakfast menus and restaurant is amazing, the best cooked breaky I have ever had at a hotel. The queen bed we had was the best bed we have slept on, that good we enquired about its details so we can go buy own own! Hotel has an easy lay out, plenty of parking and easy access. The only thing I can fault, is that there is no hot chocolate option in the rooms mini bars for the non tea & coffee drinkers. Highly reccomend staying here. Walking distance to town for shops and restaurants and lake views. We will be back!
A.
Good full breakfast and great room, environment time just said that it didn't have sky sport (Channel 50)for the rugby
l.
After an unplanned trip from napier to tepuke we found ourselves tired and over driving, rotorua accommodation was scarce (anzac weekend) we were so grateful to be told to try the millennium after our 10th call to motels in area and numerous drop ins. It was pricey, and our 7 year old had to bunk down in the King bed with us, but we all had the best sleep and if we hadn't stayed here it would've either been uncomfortable naps in car or perhaps an accident trying to get home. The room was clean and to normal corporate hotel standard, we had a shower over bath which we enjoyed and the bed was super comfy. Buffet breakfast was a brilliant way to start the day, fresh, great variety and tasty. Reception staff were amazing, super easy to deal with and accommodating.
M.
Millenium staff were so pleased to have us staying with them for 5 nights. We had a superior room with a magnificent view across the Lake. They are offering complimentary breakfasts for those who book directly with the hotel. A welcome gesture.
We didn't find the bed comfortable but those who like soft beds would be very happy.
J.
Very nice hotel friendly staff love that it has a mini gym
J.
Had a very pleasant experience staying 4nights for end of School holidays. Great location CBD , Heated pool great for Kids , Friendly helpful staff. Couple minor issues with maintenance in Room which I'm sure will be taken care of soon as taking into consideration Covid 19 . Overall very pleasant ,Thank you Grand Millennium Hotel
L.
My family and I stayed there for 2 nights. In this cold weather, the warm rooms especially the warm toilet is very much appreciated. The overall cleanliness of the rooms were great, the housekeeping did a great job. The staff at the concierge were friendly too. The only thing to note is that, you got to bring your own toothbrush and slippers because it’s not provided.
G.
These guys went above and beyond for my partners 21st! Champagne and chocolate left in our room. Friendly staff and the pool and spa where lovely!
N.
Great service. Room was dated, the heat didnt run properly, no blanket supplied but bed was very comfortable, had all the basics and buffet breakfast was lovely x
J.
Was pretty good, the pool was a really nice temperature and the place was well kept. Only issue was that the entire building was extremely hot, well above room temperature and unfortunately our air con didn't work, neither did leaving windows open as it just wouldn't cool down.
P.
I expected more from this hotel it was ok but it is looking very tired and needs updating the room looked grubby but it wasn't if you now what I mean. The bedding and towels where of a very good standard, breakfast area was a bit cramped. The corridors needed some decoration some pictures on the walls would have helped. Location is good just up the hill from the town about 10min walk.
L.
The beds were the best part about this hotel. They were very comfortable. However, most everything else left a little to be desired. It wasn't exactly luxurious or premium, and could do with some serious updating.
Pros:
-Great beds
-Good Air Conditioning
-Good size rooms
-Great location next to the Polynesian Pools and in the middle of Rotorua
Cons:
-The bathrooms had visible mould in the grout and felt like they could do with some TLC.
-Fixtures were very dated
-Cleanliness was a bit of an issue (on the first night I found a clump of hair in my bed that obviously wasn't mine)
T.
I was there for a conference the facilities were fantastic the rooms were clean and comfortable the food was delicious and a great variety to choose from
Z.
Amazing staff, all super friendly. The lobby artwork and lighting was pleasant too. I'm normally hesitant about eating at hotel restaurants but decided to give it a try - probably the best steak I've had in a long time, I would stay there again just to have dinner. My only complaint would be the room is a little bit dated and shower was a little tight. But that's not much of an issue really. Would definitely stay again.
J.
Great friendly service. Had a hot water issue and got an upgraded room no problem. Guests use of the hot spa was a terrific bonus. Thanks for an awesome experience.
M.
Always enjoy our stay at the Millennium. Our room was clean, tidy and had a magnificent view of the lake.We had a delicious meal at Nikau. Great place to for my partner who ran in the Rotorua Marathon. Close to the event start and CBD will definitely stay here in the future.
C.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy room. Rooms could do with a refresh but they are cosy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. A great sport near the lake.
N.
Had a relaxation massage at the spa and it was fabulous.
P.
This review is actually from my wife who recently stayed here Hotel was good just a bit tired looking particularly in rooms probably due for upgrade.
Food was really poor for a 4 star I was really disappointed.
The dinner at the Nikau Bar and Restaurant was plain and tasteless. They advertise on their website a menu with variety and even at the main door of restaurant they show a similar menu to the one on their website but when we went for dinner they told us it was a set menu and honestly it was basic and boring and bland, tasteless and in my case uneatable I couldn't stand the beef cheeks the gravy was awful.
Following day breakfast was even worse cereal in little boxes like what you would get at a back packers.
Then we had lunch and because we pre ordered due to us being on a work trip we got to lunch room on time but all our food was cold or warm, then one of the girls found a large piece of mussel shell in her seafood chowder.
She told a waitress who just looked and said ok will mention to chef no apologies or manager for restaurant come and apologize so unprofessional.
I would honestly not recommend eating at this Hotel rather go and eat out at local restaurant or Cafe.
M.
Comfortable beds, plenty of parking, clean and an amazing view of the lake. Stayed here for one night, the hotel is perfectly located right next to the Polynesian spa, the staff were friendly and helpful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had lunch and a beer at the bar and it was delicious, we also ordered room service which was a treat and came quickly. The breakfast buffet was big! And on the Monday morning we went down early had it all to our selves for a while. Would definitely book here again.
R.
Although some of the facilities are a little dated and tired, the Millennium is a lovely hotel to spend a night in, big comfy beds and straightforward amenities. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and spa after a long day's travel. Everything was very clean in the pool area, and quite quiet given the time of year for our visit.
T.
Fantastic experience. Quiet. Quite nice bar and pool, spa.
Room was clean tidy.
Staff very friendly, professional, well presented.
Very close to lakeside thermal walks.
I'd love to come back here again.
K.
Beautiful views from the room.
Lovely friendly staff.
Delicious breakfasts.
Tidy rooms. Great amenities.
M.
Loved the location of the hotel. Great view from balcony. Lovely staff, going the extra mile for their customers. However I had booked a room with an option between 2 double beds or one king bed. I had selected a king bed and was confirmed on my email. When I got to the hotel I was given a room with 2 double beds. I rang reception and was told that there were no other rooms available so I was “upgraded” to the two twin beds when in reality I had a choice of it. There was no communication to me or remorse for this mistake and to have that sprung on me wasn’t fair. I don’t feel as though I got my money’s worth as I was not satisfied. It was my birthday weekend and I was treating myself and didn’t get the outcome I wanted. Nice hotel but would hope for better service in the future if I decide to return.
A.
Really nice place to stay in Rotorua, close to the main city so that’s a bonus. Heated pool is great too. But they charge 2% extra for credit card. Doesn’t say that on booking website or when you first check in so just an FYI.
Room 4/5
Facilities (pool etc) 4/5
Service 4/5
Location 4/5
D.
Good location. Close to everything. However,
1. There was a queue when we checked in. More receptionists are required during peak hours.
2. Our room was very dated and visible dust can be seen on the facilities.
3. Air conditioner was very noisy.
S.
Great location very central and short walk to the gardens. Hotel is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly (even the painters who are repairing the walls). Bath towels have holes and pillows are feeling old and lumpy. The spa is just a hot pool, swimming pool is nice. The room had a musty smell when we arrived. We arrived shortly before check-in and were asked to wait while they checked if our room was ready, after 10 minutes we were told it was a busy night and our room would not be ready for another 30min. We returned after an hour and checked in when we arrived at the room the cleaners were finishing the bathroom.
C.
The facility was clean and looked beautiful. The conference rooms were very nice and the technology worked smoothly. The rooms were clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. The shower floor was curved, which was strange to me, but it didn't negatively interfere with my showering experience. The location of the hotel is wonderfully close to the city center and also to the nature around Sulphur Bay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
J.
Very nice hotel. The facilities were a little dated, but the location and staff more than made up for that. The staff was really friendly, and the hotel was close to Eat Streat and a bunch of other retail stores. It was easy to walk to just about any restaurant that you'd like. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
D.
Great 4+ star hotel conveniently situated walking distance to the town center.
Big indoor heated pool and spa. Lakeview rooms have a great view of lake Rotorua.
Polynesian pools are right next door along with many other attractions.
N.
Nice place to come if it's just you, or you and your partner. Not great for kids, in the room we were in - no benches or table to make coffee, had to make it in the bathroom. Kids eating on the floor. The beds were amazing and we all had a great sleep. So warm and clean. Staff are super friendly. The restaurant meal we had was very good.
D.
Very comfortable bed. Good amenities. Room was tired though could do with a cosmetic update.
Q.
We enjoyed a nice couple days in Rotorua. Staff was friendly and available. The breakfast options are nice with continental, cooked and Asian options. Our room had a private jacuzzi which was awesome. We had a couple drinks at the bar in the first night, and the bartender was great as well as her cocktails. Would recommend this hotel.
T.
We loved our stay at Millennium. Overall, very close to the city center and extremely close to the Polynesian Pools (literally right next door).
Amazing service right from the beginning. Clean rooms with all of our needs being met without fuss. The rooms were nice and cool right from the moment we entered which was very nice.
Ample parking on grounds, with even more street parking available along the perimeter of the hotel.
J.
We were treated like celebrities because of who my boyfriend is related to... which was cool but at the same time embarrassing. We didn't realize the kitchen was closed and we were going to get a late dinner. The manager on duty made the kitchen stay open late for JUST us. I felt awful for the staff. Even if we weren't regular people and we were actually were celebrities, I don't like people who feel entitled and treat others like Barbra Streisand does.
Great hotel though. Food, drinks, employees, atmosphere, all was great. Clean room. We really enjoyed our stay.
E.
3,5 stars ... mean 4 stars unfortunately ...
The entrance area and the swimming pool are great. The size and the functionality of the room are ok, except the cupboard for cloths witch is a little bit too small for 2 people and there were not enough plugs for charging electronics (see the pictures for cupboard). The bathroom must be improved !!!
The toilet (cleaning): 8/10
Towels: ok
________
Shower !!!: 2/10 :( Must be improved !!!
No mobile shower-head !!! :((( with a plastic curtain :( see the pictures posted as well)
________
The Nikau Restaurant:
2019 : 10/10
2020 : 3/5 ... no heart this time ...
________
The team:
2019: 10/10 (welcoming and smiling)
2019: 3/5 (supermarket)
So, 3,5 stars, I mean ... 4 stars for this Hotel in Rotorua. Anyway, comparing this one with other Hotels in Rotorua it’s absolutely fine ...
Oh, by the way ... no plunger coffee, no bottle of water in the room...
G.
Good room, spacious and overlooking the lake direction. Peaceful with plenty of light. Location of the hotel is great, minutes walking distance to the central streets, restaurants etc. Service was good though our room wasn't quite ready on arrival we were given some drinks vouchers as an apology.
S.
Good Location.
The entrance is grand but sadly the rooms are run down and mouldy in the bathrooms, our room had broken draws where the side of the unit just hung there. Finishes on the wood where are peeling just very dated around.
The staff were great although check out time took to long and a extra staff member helping out there would have been better.
Not worth the price.
I.
Stayed here for an amazing weekend before. Lovely room, very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect:) just contacted them again, and a super friendly gentleman helped me, kindly, patiently.
O.
Lovely helpful staff. Older style hotel, but rooms are quiet, tidy and warm. The bed was very comfortable. Would stay again. Close to town, the lake, walking and cycling tracks.
L.
Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant facilities. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and pillows. Private spa area was very nice. Bar staff and menu were exceptional. Great location - easy walking distance to everything in the central city. Highly recommend to everyone. Can't praise the hotel and staff highly enough.
C.
Entrance and public areas clean and well presented. Staff polite and friendly on arrival and check in was easy. Room nicely laid out and spacious. Bathroom on the other hand was a little compact. Water pressure in shower is very good though the shower head could be a little higher as had to duck a little. Spare power socket only on 1 side of the bed, would expect one on each side in any modern hotel now as so many mobile devices needing charging. Pool was closed for maintenance though the spa pools were still open and enjoyed a good soak. Small grumble on the tiles all round being so slippery meaning laying back and relaxing had you sliding down and into the middle of the pool.
T.
Nice hotel, comfortable bed, and excellent buffet breakfast bar. The room was neatly service with the ecofriendly option for towel usage. Location is superb, handy to Eat Street, and late night tourist shops. Very close to Pak'n'Save and Government Gardens, and the delightfully spooky Bath House if you jog in the early morning or early evening. Staff were excellent.
T.
Recommend to friends and they loves their stay with their kids. The room provides relaxing ambient - good to unwind after long day at the office. I was always greeted with smiles. The team was professional from the minute we placed the …
G.
Great place, with great location, near city center, restaurants and stores; cleaning was very good, pleasant view of the inner garden, spa and pool couldn’t be better.
down stairs bar is good, with great cocktails and not a lot, but good choices of beer, restaurant with great menu as well, but breakfast is absolutely disappointing, unfortunately, still got my five stars because there are too many good thinks to point out.
D.
The hotel is clean well managed giving a friendly atmosphere. The facilities are top rank, I really enjoyed the hot spar and the sauna and the staff are very helpful and professional. I really enjoyed my stay with my wife and friends and look forward to our next visit.
H.
Excellent hotel. Our group arrived at two in the morning, and we were efficiently checked in and sent to bed. The bed was extremely comfortable, soft pillow top mattress, high thread count linens and fluffy pillows. There's a safe, a refrigerator, and a teapot with a variety of tea bags. And there are plenty of electric outlets. The room decor is very nice. The breakfast is a bit basic but adequate.
The Wi-Fi is included, and it works. I was able to borrow a book from the Maryland Digital Library even though I am located in a different hemisphere from Maryland.
The pool is heated and nicely designed, and there are two hot tubs.
I recommend this place.
D.
We always come here as a family, however on our recent stay we were disappointed to discover that pancakes have been taken off the breakfast menu. I think every hotel should have pancakes! My son in particular looks forward to them. Will they be returning? Apart from that, lovely hotel.
R.
Attended a four-day conference here. All hospitality and porter staff I encountered were fantastic, and some concierge staff too. The food was excellent (breakfast through to dinner) although some of the sweets/desserts looked the part but were lacking taste for me (tiered mousse cake, cupcake, apple custard scroll, the alcohol flavour in tiramisu was strong!). The club room was really well-appointed and the canapés/club breakfast appreciated although I didn't get to use this. The gym was OK, one treadmill was out of order and no water available inside (but close by outside). Biggest issue was no fan or air in the bathroom, made for a very humid, stuffy bathroom. Toilet had a pretty weak flush too
J.
Good location, huge property, market is walking, restaurants around walking, super markets at walking distance, drawback - Breakfast is very basic. Room size is decent. Drawback with the room is the charging port, finding one inside the room is a challenge for senior citizens specially.
S.
Lovely stay there this week for two nights lovely food at the restaurant and lovely warm pool which we used both days lovely comfortable beds to sleep in the staff were really friendly and answered any queries that we had Jason and his mate who were waiters in the restaurant were very professional and attentive as well will come and stay again in the future thanks
C.
Rooms were nice, shower definitely needed to be fixed. There's a pool, hot tubs and a nice sized gym (that closed too early.) I can't say much about location since it was late but there is a supermarket close by. The service at reception was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful!!
R.
Great place to stay. Quite accessible throughout. Room was great too.Took my own shower chair just in case there wasn't a wall mounted seat. Would pay to check with the Hotel to see if they have one available. As far as the bed goes, you wouldn't be able to get a hoist underneath but it was very comfortable.
M.
Everything rusts in this place due to the climate. Rooms were clean but small. Limited Internet access. Good buffet breakfast. Workout room was old and too hot. Couldn't listen to music either due to it being in the spa. The pool was nice and much more worthwhile than the spa which was expensive.
R.
Nice hotel, super comfy bed. Wifi is also great. Downsides are bathrooms are feeling old and dated and don’t have any fans so as soon as someone has a shower they steam out the room.
S.
With the smell of sulphuric in Rotorua I was a bit concerned if we would be ok staying in the city. To my relief there was little smell inside the hotel. When you enter the hotel you are greeted with a very nice decor and big Maori carving. I love the integration of local culture in an accomodation. Clean toilets and rooms and comfy bedding is always appreciated. My better half appreciated the available hair dryer.
As for the cons, there is some leakage of smell when you sit near the windows. The wifi is horrible as it just kept dropping out. I personally dislike the analog temperature control but it maintained a nice steady temperature for a nice comfy sleep. We booked a room for three but there were only 2 cups for having tea/coffee and they skimped on sugar packets. Everything was manageable but the Wifi needs to be fixed in this day and age.
C.
We were able to check in early. The room felt a little outdated. Air con was amazing and lots of free parking around the hotel
e.
Great hotel. Nice sized rooms. Navigating the halls to find the most efficient path to room took a bit getting used to. Bed resting against the A/C unit gets really chilly at night
5.
They think they are a luxury hotel. Some basic details sorely missing. Shower water temperature fluctuated dramatically for very cold to very hot. Incredibly annoying and dangerous!! Navigating the hotel is very difficult due to two towers with base of both shared. If you get into wrong tower by virtue of taking wrong long hallway you can be lost in a rabbit's warren with inadequate signage to redirect. Restaurants were good.
S.
Tired looking hotel. Reception and bar area fine, staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent. The room was comfortable but very poor lighting. Shower was in the bath. Bathroom needs refurbishing. No plug for the sink. Plenty of hot water
T.
Great location, right next to Polynesian spa. Excellent breakfast service, the hotel itself actually has a pretty good pool itself. Can get a bit pricy, four stars because rooms are a bit dated. Could do with more power outlets and basic 21st century items like smart TV.
S.
This is a nice hotel if your staying in rotorua and they have a heated pool and a spa room. The room i stayed in looked out to the lake which was cool and the Polynesian spa place is next to the hotel to
L.
Great breakfast, tidy clean rooms, excellent pool and spa area
F.
The smell of Rotorua definitely takes some getting used to! Staff was friendly and the room had a beautiful view, but the room was freezing, overall the hotel is pretty old and the breakfast buffet food was cols every single morning. This hotel is just okay.
D.
We have stayed several times now and each time we have found the staff and services exceptional. The Spa is great for a massage etc. The food in the restaurant out of this world. The pork was fantastic and the crackling even better. The heated pool is so relaxing and on a cold winters day is just great to have a swim in hot water.
The bar has a female steward who makes the most fantastic drinks and if you have a little too much gets the help from the consierge to get you to your room safely, who may I say is nothing too much trouble
C.
Nice room, warm and plenty of power points for modern life . Decor is looking a little tired inside but the gardens are beautiful. I would raise the daytime lighting just so it doesn't look too dark . Staff are just brilliant from the breakfast staff to the reception deskm
M.
Great place to stay food in restaurant is beautiful
A.
Enjoyed a stay here recently. Nice room, lovely pool and spa. Would have given 5 stars but restaurant was slow and food wasn't hot.
M.
Great hotel. Lovely large pool and two big, hot spa's. Great service. Near the city center. Tidy, clean and comfortable. Nice large breakfast. Good price. Maori concert and food is also a fabulous thing to purchase. Great staff that look after you. There is also a bar and restaurant in the hotel. I highly recommend a stay at the millennium hotel Rotorua.
W.
Was here for a conference and the staff were fantastic. Due to Covid staffing levels were low meaning the ones working had to work even harder and they did this while smiling and doing a great job. Cannot recommend highly enough

The only really good thing was the bed so comfy. Check in and out staff were great. But I was disappointed about the rest. Ok a little refurbishment needed but I could overlook some of that but the shower needed a descale jets of water in all directions. Toilet didn't flush well. Requested cot was left with a cot mattress and sheet and a blanket but no cot? Questioned it 3 times was told apologies then finally someone came to our room after 8pm and asked what was the problem ? was the mattress not good enough ?? Hmmm umm no .. we said we requested a cot and got told oh sorry misunderstanding I call it a crib ?! Well we are in nz and it's a cot but either way staff should know what a cot for a baby is. I thought with a 4 star rating it would be a better hotel unfortunately I will look for another hotel next time we stay in rotorua .
V.
Good location and rooms are big.
Bad design of bathroom as water may flow out to room when you bath. Breakfast is good as they have slightly different menu from other hotels in country.
Wi-Fi is too slow and cut off many times.
Pungent smell in hotel.
D.
A nice place to stay. Good location, though the slide door did let in the sulfer smell from the nearby spa. Also, free Wifi is limited to lobby with time and data restrictions, otherwise is $5 in room. Breakfast was quite nice.
G.
My husband & I have just spent two days at the hotel. What wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. From Reception to the Waitresses in the Nikau Restaurant and the housekeeping staff and porters. Thank you for a fabulous 2 days. Couldn't fault anything. Had a great view of the Lake and the beds were the most comfortable ever. Thank you.
I.
Great stay. Took advantage of the breakfast & x1 dinner which I loved. Thanks to all the staff for a superb stay. Rooms were perfectly done up daily.
J.
Old hotel. Room dirty around aircon vence. But we enjoy the spa balth and pool.Best breakfast. Nice brew coffee.
P.
Lobby and room looked nice at my first sight. The problems are 1) the temperature of the water coming from the shower changed unexpectedly so my mom and I got “surprised” and felt really uncomfortable; 2) the vanity kit and sanitary bags were empty! We didn’t want to use them but we found them empty because my mom thought one of them was shower cap... and 3) the utensils in the dining room were dirty. I told two waiters for the glass (lip print on it!!!) and the plate (stains).
D.
Overpriced. Poor breakfast. Took 25 minutes to get a coffee. None of the facilities were open except the pool. Kids enjoyed that. Needs some serious upgrades
L.
Loved the place! Large, spotless and comfortable room with a great view of the garden and the lake. Swimming pool and spa with two hot water (geothermal heating) basins. Close to Rotorua centre. Super-friendly staff.
L.
Beautiful Hotel, definitely will stay again, nice big swimming pool, spas, gym, buffet breakfast, porter on arrival.Highly recommended
A.
Great bed. Really loving the new range of sky channels! Shower head could use an upgrade. Missed having any grilled or fried tomatoes for breakfast. Great potato wedges on the toom service menu. Am wondering where all the ashtrays have gone - in the garden area and outside the entrance?? I am a paying guest and really didn't feel taken care of in this way. I know it's a terrible habit but I am definitely not the only smoker to stay there and woild appreciate a clearly signed smoking area.
G.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff and nice food. 👌
P.
Nice place. Cold pool. Room was way smaller than it looked online. Restuarant made a stunning meal. But Vegas came out cold and some of the serve staff seemed they wanted to be elsewhere than bothering to look after their customers waiting for them.
L.
The room was lovely. The bed was high and on castors so there was a bit of movement getting in and out. The biggest problem was the shower. Lacked pressure and temp kept changing of its own accord. The water on the wet floor went right to the door and didn't dissipate overnight
R.
1st room sucked but they upgraded us for no extra charge and it was really nice . Loved the free pool but the free hot pools need some work over all 8/10
E.
Being a local I have always thought Millennium to be for tourist only- but heard amazing things about their spa from another local so decided to treat myself and oh my gosh! What a great experience !! Of all the local places I have gone to to be pampered- this one was by far the best and great value for money- The atmosphere and ambiance, the peace and tranquility, the music, the lightning and then the wonderful soak and massage- I was completely relaxed when I walked out of there and will definitely return! Thank you Aneta for a great massage!
T.
Clean, quiet and very close to everything. I enjoyed hanging around the lobby and the bar area whilst trying to work. Loved the 2 dinning area's 💖 especially the pool side brassiere. The restaurant and hospitality staff were great.
T.
The Spa Services have a variety of options so we booked early as times sell out quickly. The location of this hotel was great. The hotel is of a odd layout and same with the room numbers, took a while to find. Excellent service from our waitress, Megan.
C.
Almost a 3.5. a little run down and showing thier age but bed was very comfortable meals good.
S.
Nice rooms. But there seem to be a lack of staff when we went. Breakfast was ok, nothing to shout about.
S.
Recently spent a night here while visiting Rotorua, hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants and a few attractions which is nice.
Room itself is the expected size with the usual features. Bathroom features a marble /granite sink area as well as a bath / shower unit. The shower head in the room we stayed in was very poor and sprayed everywhere.
Disappointed with TV and quality of channels (image) as it is an old smaller CRT.
Had a good view of the pools near poly spa with a deck also available, a shame no chairs / tables outside to sit on.
Also visited the bar and was disappointed with the service, did not feel that welcome.
Would stay here again based on price.
C.
Enjoyed our stay. Incredibly comfortable bed. Super king size! Delicious breakfast included in the price of our stay.
Unfortunately the pool was unavailable.
H.
Popular hotel. Our rooms overlooked the lakes. We were entertained by the local traditional dancers whilst eating our meal and had an opportunity to visit a geyser. Spectacular. Would recommend this.
V.
Amazing facilities great hotel the stand out has to be the staff I think her name was Gina but she was so welcoming. I had to extend my stay for another night and she moved heaven n earth which allowed me to complete my work in Rotorua will see definitely stay here again.
A.
I'm diggin' it so far, the beds are always great to come back to, the shower pressure could be better but it's still nice and warm, the pool is pretty nice as well, and the view is absolutely stellar on top of it all!
H.
Good hotel. It looks new after renovation. Rooms are nicer with good facilities. Breakfast is good enough. Great location, few minutes walk to Supermarket...
S.
Initially was going to rate 2 stars but they redeemed themselves to an extent. My wife went for a massage and manicure at "The Spa" and had a subpar experience. Her therapist didn't seem to listen to her massage preference requests. The manicure was also poorly done - her fingertips were scratched up and cuticles were left essentially untreated. Thankfully the hotel manager stepped in and was able to get another therapist to redo the manicure. For the premium paid for these services, the overall experience and quality were average at best.
P.
Great view, very nice food, awesome in house bar and warm inside swimming pool and spa's open until 11pm. A place you can do alot of nice things without even leaving the hotel.
S.
I've been a Roto Vegas fan since I was a kid. In more recent years I've grown to enjoy the mini holiday breaks away in the Millennium hotel. The staff are key here and the culture must never have been compromised since the beginning nearly thirty years ago. Thoroughly feel like we're relaxed and can enjoy the simple pleasures and delights this hotel has to offer.
J.
Gr8 place for last minute booking. Pity I ran out of time to try their spa and pool facility which looked very appealing
T.
I didn't eat here but had a restaurant onsite with breakfast and a centrally located bar. We did not receive a key to lock our side of the door, resulting in us being extremely apprehensive about the possibility of our neighbours having access to our room. Value of money hotel. I felt very welcome and at home, away from home.
B.
This was the second place we stayed on our honeymoon in New Zealand, and the staff were incredibly helpful from start til checkout. For some reason they didn't get the message from our travel agent that it was our honeymoon, but right away during check-in they gave us free WiFi and told us to check back the next day in case they could give us a nicer room. Sure enough the next day they moved us to a room with a perfect view of the lake, and it was wonderful. (Keep in mind that Rotorua smells of sulfur throughout the city, and the closer you are to the lake the more you may smell it. Thankfully, when the windows are closed you really can't smell anything, so that wasn't an issue.)
There were multiple extremely helpful and friendly members of the staff in the lobby who checked in with us on a daily basis, made sure we were comfortable, and tried to set us up with the best outings in town. Thanks to their helpful suggestions, we ended up going on the ziplines w/ Canopy Tours which were fantastic, and they even made the arrangements for us including a pickup and dropoff back at the hotel. We needed multiple things throughout our stay, and a range of people were always happy to help. The pool downstairs was very pleasant, as were the two Jacuzzis in the room next door. They capped it all off by the manager Binni setting us up with a special front row table to their Maori show which was a very sweet thing to do for us honeymooners.
As I say, people and service are what can really make or break a stay for me in a hotel, and in this experience, we were so glad we stayed there.
D.
Newish hotel with good amenities but a hotel that didn't have the fridge stocked with anything. Room very warm even with AC going.
B.
The hotel is 'ok' but the restaurant service is sloppy. The staff appear untrained and unable to keep the breakfast service running smoothly, which can't be the hardest thing in the world.
Having the pool next to the restaurant is just plain weird.
Staff were friendly and generally tried to be helpful; some of them just didn't really know how to....
Bar area is nice.
I have stayed here twice now and won't be back if I can help it.
j.
Great hotel good location at back of hotel r hot pools restaurant closes earlier 2030 it should b 2130 4 clients who work pass 2030
T.
The location is ideal for the government gardens and the Polynesian spa. Conveniently located in the heart of the city centre. Not flash but service totally exceeds expectations. The Hotel was a great place for a mini break to relax in the pool and indulge yourself at their very own spa.
R.
The staff were very welcoming.
The hotel is great for families with kids due to its swimming pool and I enjoyed the 2 hot pools.
Breakfast is right next to the pool :-)
M.
Good location. Easy to walk to many important places. The pool was warm and the hot pools were blazing. Staff was welcoming.
m.
I recommend the rooms with the jacuzzi !! It was nice arriving and the jacuzzi was already nice and hot and clean!! The restaurant had really yummy food!!! I recommend the pork roast The pool was good . Door man was very friendly and helpful... uumm stuff there just mind there own business which was even better to be honest
J.
We had a great time thanks team
A.
A nice place to stay. The staff is friendly and receptive. The buffet breakfast is better than in most holiday hotels. The curtain in our room though we mouldy
A.
Nice clean room, with comfortable bed and lots of amenities in a good location. Front desk staff were friendly and helped organise local activities.
N.
Location was convienient close to the supermarket and close to hot springs. Rooms were nice and big with large beds. Services did not include many amenities you would find in other north American hotels and wifi was very limited.
G.
Great venue. Nice hotel. Looking forward to my next stay
N.
Very clean hotel. The beds is so comfy. And the views and location is the best..
S.
A little older Hotel but picked up a great value room through Expedia. Enjoyed a relaxing soak in the free hot pools. In house restaurant and also close too other restaurants in the town.
M.
Booked the room at the suggestion of our travel agent, very nice room overlooking the lake. Enjoyed the extra Club level service of breakfast and happy hour canapés on the 5 th floor. Very helpful service at the front desk. Free parking but charges for Internet- although free 50mb for 30 min in lobby.
T.
The five stars is definitely the extremely nice and helpful staff of the hotel
Which doing above and beyond and providing extraordinary service and smiles during entire stay!
Innovative the hotel will make it 7 stars!
T.
The continental breakfast is a great way to start the day. We had a safe with the batteries held in with tape and a cupboard door with loose hinges. Unfortunate as it had the ideal location. Bit of a warren to find your way around but once done was easy enough.
C.
Great location, comfy beds, perfectly clean rooms. Make sure you spend the extra and book a Club room with lake view as is gives you your own balcony, room on the top floor with views of lake Rotorua. The club floor also has it's own lounge that is kid free area and serves complementary drinks and canapes in the evening plus complementary Express continental breakfast in the morning with excellent staff (Naomi) and fabulous coffee. No other hotel in Rotorua offer these facility. The hotel makes great use of the abundant geothermal in the area with a large geothermally heated swimming pool around 29 degrees to do laps or just relax, , 2 x general use spa pools and heating panels around the corridors that are toasty warm. Could not fault food and wine on offer. There are porters available to assist with luggage on arrival and departure (Norri) is a great asset to this hotel and wexappreciated all his assistance and knowledge. Great stay, will definitly be back.
S.
Bit run down and in need of a spruce up. Quite pricey in my opinion. Pool was not really warm which was strange as they are in a geothermal area!
S.
Must stop and stay here. This was a beautiful stay over for me...I lived the service and the staff were brilliant to me. The pool was relaxing and the Polynesian Pond Spa are just around the corner too...my stay was memorable
A.
Had a wonderful stay at the Millennium hotel. Made a small error in the booking we did online, but the staff did a great job in correcting it and also gave us an upgrade in room!! Thanks guys, and the spread for breakfast was good...
T.
It was booked thru Air NZ Deluxe Mystery weekend package. The lakeview room had an excellent soft king bed which we liked. A small amount of noise came from adjoining rooms and hallway but not obtrusive. The heated pool was lovely to relax in. There was a mixup with the booking of which we were unaware and we had a missed call when an hours drive away to say why was our luggage still in room and why hadn't we booked out. It alarmed us until we returned the call to find it had been fixed, they had incorrect info. They shouldn't have rung if they hadn't confirmed booking info with agent, and once they had confirmed they should have rung again to let us know instead of alarming us. When we arrived back it was to find we'd been locked out of the room so we had to get back to reception to get new codes loaded onto our door passes. It would have been 4 stars if the issue had never arisen.
K.
Good clean rooms and nice view overlooking the lake. Breakfast is very well catered and the staff are friendly. The car park can be busy, but always found a park.
S.
The staff were quite friendly and prompt. The only bad thing was the smell from the hot springs. It was overwhelming. The breakfast was great, the location was fantastic for the adventures we had planned, and the rooms had incredible beds
C.
Clean, tidy with very good service. We changed from the hotel we had booked at and the manager here gave us free buffet breakfast. Just great to have the service we have had here.
T.
Comfortable, trendy, busy, rooms big enough for 2 adults. Wifi good reception good selection of tv channels & concierge on if required.
p.
Love the hotel always. Great bedding. I would like to give special thanks to the housekeeper Amina who is so friendly and helpful with a beautiful smile. Also great service with Receptionist Amiee.
J.
Like many of the hotels in Rotorua, this one is very dated. The whole lobby smells like chlorine from the pool and the rooms are tired. Only reason I chose to stay here was because it is close to everything in town and right next to the Polynesian Spa
K.
Such a great experience with single handedly the most family accommodating place we have stayed at in Rotorua.
Thanks for the great service.
R.
Wonderful public spaces with some beautiful art works. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb rooms. One of the most enjoyable places I have stayed at in New Zealand.
A.
Super comfortable beds, helpful staff and a great location.
The Polynesian spas are a small walk away, along with the town centre
N.
Room is clean, bathroom also clean.
They also have a great bar, and a nice swimming pool.
This hotel also offer a unique dinning experience while watching the maori traditional dance.
E.
The executive club level rooms were great and we had a beautiful room overlooking the lake. There was a complimentary breakfast and drinks and canapes from 5-7 in the club lounge.
The wifi is expensive and not worth purchasing. $10 for 500 MB which they say is 24 hours but it didn't even last the evening on 2 devices.
B.
If you want to stay in Rotorua's best hotel, don't stay here. Stay in the Novotel. The Distinction, Rydges and Holiday Inn are all better than the Millenium. The Millenium has mostly good rooms but some are rubbish. Dont accept a room by a lift, you'll get no sleep. Every piece of luggage has to be carried up about 6 steps at the front door. You can't get a daily paper delivered to your door. If you can get a paper after 6:30am you're doing well. The Sudima, Copthorne and Ibis have better and cheaper food.
M.
Awesome hotel for the price. Accomodating to give me a lake view room with lots of amenities. Club lounge had a great selection of snacks and drinks. Location is perfect. Breaky buffet was average.
K.
Great place to stay. friendly staff, decent amenities, and located not far away from local street conveniences. rooms are a little cramped - but people are not going to spend much time in their rooms in this town.
B.
Great Hotel with friendly staff. Only let down was the spa pools were closed but other than that fantastic location and spacious grounds and exceptional food
A.
Our room was lovely and modern. Great central location with easy accesse to supermarkes and attaractions.
Only trouble was the room was too hot for us. Tried to fix it in the room the but thermostat was not responding.
N.
The Spa: Great staff who look after you really well. Nice comfy, warm and welcoming place. Nice spa's to soak in. Offers great beauty treatments. A must.
Y.
The bed was amazingly good ! Breakfast was alright with large variety. Communal bath smelt a bit like chlorine, but was alright. I would like to stay again sometime!
B.
Good location. Near Polynesian Spa. Clean rooms. Only bad think is you need to pay for WiFi and the shower is more of mist and the water temperature of the shower goes hot to cold back to hot, over and over without touching the controls.
J.
Great hotel. Great service and friendly staff. Not a variety of breakfast...
M.
Clean and tidy, with restaurant and bar.
Rooms were atvery good prices at time of writing ... A seriously big place also
S.
A bit expensive for this type of hotel. Very dated & shabby rooms. Very poor breakfast. Location is good. The service was terrible. Will not recommend it. Follow @shashigossain
M.
Very nice room , well serviced. Helpfull , friendly staff. Breakfast prices are a bit high, but quality not bad .
S.
The staff were very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Swimming pool odd, had to swim when people not eating
K.
Very busy tourist hotel, but we'll run, friendly staff and well organised. Rooms are tidy, comfortable and have all amenities one would expect from an above average hotel.
P.
Big hotel with comfortable rooms but asking for an update/refurbishment. Not what we expected for it's price
On the other hand, the location is simply perfect and the breakfast is quite good
S.
Nice , clean, friendly same rate as a motor camp after joining the club for discounts...
M.
Bar tender was amazing she really new her stuff. Was happy to help and could answer all our questions about the whiskey she was serving a real asset to the hotel.
M.
Room and bed were very comfortable. Pool/breakfast area quite cold. Staff was attentive and helpful. Very good location.
T.
Great location next to the lake. The hot springs are everywhere. The water softens your skin. Yes the smell is sulfer as New Zealand sits on the ring of fire where the tectonic plates meet and create tis active volcnic region. This was our starting point in this area.
L.
Great location and very spacious and comfortable room. Only negative was room service after 10pm which was not very good quality but I recommend this hotel.
C.
Had a wonderful time here. So close to the Polynesian pools, where we just walked to. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast the next morning. Would stay there again.
J.
Pleasant staff
Resonable rates. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Get breakfast!! Was very nice selection and once again helpful pleasant staff. Central location
E.
Very comfy beds in the rooms and friendly staff, I have stayed in several of the large hotels in Rotorua and this is definitely one of the better ones, only thing missing was marmite at breakfast.
S.
Great location! Right by the lake and Polynesian Spa. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hotel rooms are not very sound proof though. Could hear next door guests speaking.
J.
Been staying here since the 1980s, great building, nice rooms, comfy beds, Breakfast buffet is average however.
L.
A little dated but good breakfast and heated pool. Very friendly staff.
R.
Awesome room, the whole place is like a palace! Excellent breakfast, bar Zazu and poolside brasserie. Amazing view, definitely recommended
l.
So far our stay here has been awesome our breakfast was well worth it.
The staff has be friendly and helpful i would recommend having the buffet breakfast it is affordable and well worth the money
D.
- Nice & quite ❤️😴
J.
Good staff, and great service. People were really helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are small but comfortable with great views.
R.
Dated amd hurting from covid. But clean and nice. Enjoyed my stay.
D.
Our time was spent in the spa where Shirley and team were amazing. Thank you for the most relaxing time in a soothing zen like setting. So much fun
J.
The facilities were nice, but wifi is not included. They charge 5$ per day for it. It is a short walk from the Polynesian Spa, which was very nice. It is centrally located.
A.
Nice rooms, good location. Free Wifi in the rooms - I didn't try the complementary breakfast but the Club Lounge on level 5 was awesome!
K.
Spent last five day's here can fully recommend the staff are awesome in all aspects of the hotel
A.
4 star hotel with good location only 5 minutes walk away from Pak and Save hyper market. Surrounding with many eatery restaurants, cafe, convenient stores and pubs, etc for you to spend an enjoyable evening with loved ones. 😋😆😍🙂😎🤩
P.
Rooms dated, needs renovation in the worst way. 2 star hotel at best. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms.
M.
professional every second.. welcoming...indoor pools are life changing....loved that there were many maori greetings and faces... I kmow what its like to be treated like royalty after my stay here.
B.
Very rustic feeling, comfortable...Best sleep I have had during my trip. Bathroom is nice, large tub.
L.
We were made to feel welcome. Staff, rooms, food and facilities great. Would come here again.
J.
Very basic rooms, no room information on what to see and do . No room service. smelled musty by our room.
A.
It was an amazing hotel. The staff including the manager always made sure you are happy with your staff and always tried to go above and beyond.
A.
The Hotel is handily located opposite the Polynesian Spa Thermal pools, with views of the Lake. Enjoyed lovely long island ice tea cocktails and toastie sandwiches, very fresh and tasty.
A.
I was bummed there was no hair dryer. Otherwise it was nice. I liked that there was gym and the food at the bar was great
F.
General good average hotel, interior outdated though. No extras like free WiFi or in room movies to purchase. Nice swimming pool area.
V.
Pretty ho-hum. Bar service mediocre at best, restaurant though was fantastic.
R.
Excellent location with excellent room views. (Lake View rooms are the best choice)
Great Staff with great amenities.
I.
Lovely hotel and super friendly staff but the rooms in dire need of an upgrade
C.
My family's preferred hotel in Rotorua, nice swimming pool and friendly staffs.
N.
I have just had a Aatahua ritual massage with Josie. Absolutely fantastic!!!
D.
Except for the fact that Reception is, somehow, difficult to find, this large footprint hotel has a close-to-colonial style of building, offering peace-of-mind, tranquility and the comfort of his rated stars...
W.
Had a very enjoyable stay. A very spacious facility, the room was nice with a very comfy bed and the in room spa was a nice temperature.
E.
I've stayed here a few times, i favour it when ever i travel to Rotorua, the location is excellent and the restaurant is great.
B.

D.
Every time love to stay there...very handy with all the attractions and specially eat street
T.
Oldish hotel, good location with lots of neighboring stores, 2-star room amenties, decor rather jaded... supposed to be one of the better hotels in Rotorua....
G.
Great location. Comfortable clean rooms. Plenty facilities. Great value. Friendly staff
B.

T.
Hotel is not that new, But room is big and with the best pool.
M.
Stay was good but the WIFI signal didn't quite reach the desk in my room which made it a little hard to work.
D.
Nice hotel that could use some renovations. The spa is decent and you will have plenty of breakfast choice.
S.
Nice locations but rooms need maintenance done on them.
P.
Really nice hotel, pool and spa are awesome and the bike storage facility is the icing on the cake.
R.

K.
In my opinion the best hotel in Rotorua. Service is great staff well trained. Management willing to look after your every need.
A.
Hotel room a little tired and could do with updating. Location ok for Polynesian Spa and quite centrally placed.
g.
Lovely hotel room warm, restaurant very cold hubby fetched coat, think its a regular problem needs heavy curtains in restaurant for winter nights could put smaller tables in front of longer tables by fire.
