K.Very basic, as should be expected for the price you are paying.
It is an older building and not the most glamorous, but it was exactly what I wanted. A cheap private single room.
I found it to be very clean considering the age of the building. I did not see any mould at all, im unsure where the previous comments think they saw mould? The night before I had stayed at Base Backpackers and the shower was covered in mould.
Anyway I think the people leaving negative reviews need to lower their expectations when they book the cheapest room (by far) in the city. A $35 room is going to offer a lot less then the average $60 room in Rotorua.
The lady at reception, I believe the manger was very lovely.
C.One of the nicest budget places I've stayed. The staff are friendly and everything you need is provided. Rooms and bathrooms are small and simple but do the job. The place is generally kept clean, it's right in the middle of town and has a lovely chill vibe. Perfect if you're looking for a cheap place to crash for the night. It's only downfall is poor noise insulation if you're unlucky with your neighbours.
K.I stayed in one of the private rooms. As described, the space is very compact. Kitchen facilities were fine and importantly clean. Free parking was available on a first come first served basis. The staff were polite. Internet was free and unlimited. The only downside was the supermarkets are about 10 minutes walk. I would stay again.
A.Rooms clean enough, but bathroom could have used a touch up. Very centrally located, excellent positioning. Walls a little flimsy so can hear others during the night, milk was frozen solid in the fridge. Reception staff polite and attentive. Overall exactly what was expected and would stay there again.
E.It's an absolute amazing place to be for stay, very clean means amazing for motel types or price!!! Can compete with big brand hotels. Staff is friendly n helpful I mean they not only offered Peter service but heaps of information for further trip. Common kitchen area nice n clean. Just the bed n shower are not big or fit for people above six feet...hence I give 4.5 * out of 5*. Highly recommend to people traveling to stay.
J.I stayed at this motel with my friends and we really like it! Nice small kitchen with everything you need! The AC work well and the tv too. Don't expect a big room with plenty of space. They could also but a long mirror in the bathroom so we can see ourself:)
S.Location 5 star, rest all is below expectations. Room's too small, no place to keep luggage, only one heater provided for entire room. Very expensive compared to room size and facilities.

Clean motel. Discounts to local attractions available at reception. Able to leave luggage for before and after check-in/out. Located in middle of town, everything is close: buses, shops, food. I recommend for short stays.
E.Economical yet stylishly updated, with comfy beds. My room had an oscillating fan, which I appreciate as my tinnitus makes sleeping without one difficult. It's not a luxury hotel by any means, but it definitely doesn't have that chintzy and tired feel so common with cheaper accommodations.

Location is still convenient as it is located at the main streets of Rotorua. Room is small and the hygenic condition seems not that ideal, but what can you expect from this price?

M.Rooms really small so if you have a lot of luggage this place won't be for you. Pretty hot and humid in the rooms. But centraly located, close to many places in the city. Recepction staff helpful. Clean. Will stay again.
V.Great value, quiet, tidy and clean. Bit too much smoke smell, but cant complain with the great price.
B.For the price its not bad. Good luck getting in and out of the shower if you are in rooms 3.1 - 3.5. Also the airflow of the room was bad got very warm very quick.
S.I was only here for one night but had a fine stay. Warning though, the parking lot of first come first serve, so if it's full you have to park on the street. I think one spot should be allotted per room. The wifi also requires an annoying code.
A.Clean and tidy rooms, well equipped common kitchen, free WiFi. Frank at the office is amazingly friendly and helpful. Loved every second of our 3 day stay.

E.I really enjoyed staying at the motel. But the only problem was ... When I had the reservation it says" Free wifi" but when I got there the wifi was 3 dollars . Not much, for sure, but it goes against of what it says at the reservation website

J.Central location, with helpful manager. Facilities are simple, but can be better upkept - there shouldn't be so many spider webs, creaky floor boards, and unrepaired stuff around.

T.(Translated) We were there for the high season. The rooms are extremely small. The windows even smaller. The bathrooms are almost bigger than the rooms. It is clean in the frame. What is not great, it is up to in the rooms and in the kitchen area everywhere smoked. So also directly in front of the rooms. The smoke comes in immediately, which is very uncomfortable because the rooms anyway have no volume.

Wir waren da zur Hauptsaison. Die Zimmer sind extrem klein. Die Fenster noch kleiner. Die Bäder sind fast größer als die Zimmer. Es ist im Rahmen sauber. Was nicht so toll ist, es wird bis auf in den Zimmern und im Küchenbereich überall geraucht. Also auch direkt vor den Zimmern. Der Rauch zieht sofort rein, das ist sehr unangenehm da die Zimmer sowieso kein Volumen haben.

Fuimos a la habitación económica. Es un poco chica pero aceptable. Las camas eran cómodas. Tiene frigobar y una estufa eléctrica. El wifi anda muy bien. El baño y las duchas se encuentran afuera de la habitación y en invierno puede ser un poco frío. Se puede hacer uso de una cocina muy bien equipada aunque vimos algunas cucharachas. Muy bien ubicado.
