Worth the money we spent for 2 nights with deluxe spa room. One light kept turning off and on though, maybe just needed maintenance to have a look. Good spacious room for family. Loved the high ceiling on level 4 rooms
C.
Got in late but we were lucky the in-house restaurant was open. (Dine in-house and you get a free bottle of wine with dinner! Read it in the hotel info brochure in your room)
Awesome restaurant to dine in. And the staff looked after us wonderfully.
Room wasn't as clean as it should be, soap streaks on spa room door. Bathroom had not been stocked nor properly cleaned - had to wipe down the toilet seat before using from something stuck to the seat and had no toiletries apart from a make up remover and one soap. Went to front desk for shampoo and conditioner.
Ordered room service, fries and wedges with melted cheese and sour cream. Fries were hot and crunchy just as I liked them. Unfortunately the wedges with melted cheese was more of a pinch of cheese which was a let down.
Buffet breakfast in the morning was filling and had so many options to please everyone. Best creamy mushrooms I've had in a long while!
The ladies on the breakfast rush were helpful and friendly also.

Currently used as a self managed isolation, I've been here 6 days and have to say after being disappointed with the initial announcement of being sent to Rotorua, we're extremely lucky to have been put at Rydges. We received snacks on arrival even though it was 11pm. The rooms are massive with two queen beds, spa bath, mini kitchenette - tea/coffee, kettle, sink + fridge - note no cooking is allowed but you can order groceries and prepare salads etc which is what I did...however! The food is so good, I didn't really need to bother! Choice of 2 restaurant quality dishes for each meal (including Meat/Vege option), full of flavour, generous portions plus snacks, drinks, desserts and surprise treats. Our outdoor exercise area is huge and available to use whenever you like. The beds are super comfortable and rooms quiet and dark - I'm having the best sleeps! We have a balcony we're unable to use but we can open the windows for fresh air, and there's no A/C which is nice actually! We have ceiling fans and heaters if needed. There's two complimentary laundry services during your stay but linen on demand. The staff are super friendly and helpful with daily calls to check on our supplies and wellbeing. We have smart TVs to login to Netflix, wifi is good enough (currently being upgraded) and we have a front row view to the racecourse...looking forward to the next race on Tuesday! Plus the lake and pretty mountain view. The only criticism is the hotel needs a bit of TLC but you soon get past that :) If you're isolating here - welcome!

My partner and I are currently in isolation at the Rydges Rotorua and we are extremely impressed with how well run the hotel is and enjoying our stay here. The rooms themselves are huge (we are in room 432 which has double height ceilings) and clean with everything you could need including coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge / freezer. The outdoor exercise area is also a decent size for you to run around and there is also a grass area where you can sit and read a book in the sun. It’s also amazing that this area is available to be used 24/7 without having to book slots. The staff are all extremely polite and helpful and make you feel very at ease about the whole process, providing you with all of the information you need. The hotel communal areas are cleaned thoroughly and hand sanitiser and PPE is available everywhere. The quality and choice of the food is also great - so much better than we expected! Portions are a decent size and meals are balanced with plenty of veg. Overall, we feel extremely lucky to be placed at the Rydges Rotorua for our 14 day isolation and extremely impressed with everything. If I had to give one negative, the WiFi at the hotel is fairly poor but they do provide you with a SIM card which you can add data bundles into and use.
G.
Just finished our stint in managed isolation here. Good sized rooms. Friendly staff, food is a bit all over the place in that some days it's amazing and other days not so much but besides that an overall pleasant experience.

When I called to check our bill the lady from the front office told us we only have charges from the mini-bar as we already paid for our accommodation with my partner. Later on in the evening I called again and the lady that checked us in on the day of our arrival was on duty during the evening shift told us we have our last night accommodation and charges from the mini-bar which was $134 something so I told her we already paid for the accommodation and she said we didn't she was trying to overcharge us, later on she called and apologized as she have checked with her manager on duty we already paid for the whole stay.
Other than that, my partner and I both enjoyed our stay, friendly staff from the restaurant, housekeeping and reception, room was spacious we also had a private spa in our room which was awesome🙂 bed was also comfy, view was good, food was delicious esp the chicken burger. Also a great location.
M.
Very spacious and beds are so comfy. Check in was fast and easy. Location is good, close to city center. Although lots of little things could be improved. Bathroom and furniture are old and way out of date. Shower had stains in it. Carpet was worn in parts. TV is the size of my monitor at work! For the big rooms, the TV needs to be bigger. No toilet brush in bathroom and you can see the pipes and they're quite loud.
M.
Great service from all staff in the hotel.
Some areas of rooms a bit tired a guick spruce up would do wonders.
Great breakfast our party all voted "the best". Especially pancake making machine.
Good booking service .
N.
An alright stay. The shower was sub par and the bathroom fan was permanently on leaving a loud drowning sound all night. The room itself was very spacious with a great view and room service was friendly and efficient.
T.
Usually very good. The Rise Breakfast is too good. We have a huge suite but there are no drawers in the room and living here for the next week have to live out of a suitcase. The hotel is in need of a revamp, but that said, we were only their to sleep and the beds were the most comfortable beds on our whole trip.
T.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel needs a renovation though, nothing to do with the thermal environment I am talking about ripped carpet on level 3 and rooms not having cool air conditioning. The front desk staff also are not very friendly. Hardly smile and when we replied about where we were traveling to next the indian man started talking about what is wrong with those places..
A.
The room was a good size for 2a +2k, booking the room and check in was easy,. The pool a drawcard for us and was out of order during our stay, as was the gym, perhaps stating that on the website would have helped. Wifi was intermittent and no sky channels to watch the rugby. We know for next time to enquire before booking. Buffet breakfast was average kids loved the smoothies. Above all staff were great.
E.
I had my wedding reception in the board room last year. The set up was absolutely beautiful! It did not look lie a board room at all. The food is delicious, everyone just loved it! The bar tender was great too! Would highly recommend having your wedding reception there they take cate of everything!
G.
Great value stay - we booked a very large room with king size bed for an excellent price. Lovely service from staff at the hotel and on site restaurant. Our new loyalty club membership provided many benefits and discounts here. Room was slightly dated but well maintained and clean with good quality TV and bedding. Balcony provided great views over neighbouring race course though you do get a bit of road noise if windows are left open. Only complaint really was the very slow WiFi performance. Other than that this hotel is a very good choice in Rotorua.
D.
Good sized bedroom. Clean but tired in places. Breakfast was very varied but can get busy at times. 15 minute walk to shopping centre and if you like horse racing you can watch this from some bedrooms or walk round to the back of the hotel for access to the course itself.
J.
Loved the big rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel however is dated and needs a major refurbishment.
The room had no safe which I thought was odd being a top tiered hotel in Rotorua. The daily breakfast buffet was good however did not stand out more then other buffet breakfasts.
The staff were friendly.
K.
Great place. Highly recommended. They even gave us a free upgrade as it was our anniversary. Even accommodated for all our little tribe of kids. We loved the staff here and how well we have been treated. I would DEFINITELY come back!
C.
Very tired looking...
Both outside and In rooms especially. Parking is quiet open and unprotected...
This was huge concern !!! Service from front desk to no porters etc quiet poor. Kitchen In rooms are unstocked and with no crockery or plates or bowls ..need to request. Kitchen only had tea coffee and long life milk.
Facilities need an improvement...as well as furniture...dining table was very old and extremely scratched.
Sheet had a hole in it and looked used!!
J.
We hired a private room for a birthday function so we haven't actually stayed there. But I can tell you that for a function the facilities are amazing. They put up with all our crazy shenanigans as a family, including delaying the buffet carvery for a wooden spoon and pot dance that's a family tradition. Our dance moves had them smiling and our requests for extra tables for the kids to have their own was no trouble. Dance floor keep pulling apart and nearly caused an issue during a particularly energetic line dance to cotton eyed joe but that was the only issue. Thanks guys!
t.
We stayed in superior room on 4/F with twin beds for one night (Room 423). The room is large and clean. The beds are large and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious with numerous choices. There is a small supermarket nearby. The only things that make me annoyed is that the shower is fixed and you cannot pick it out.
H.
Loved this!! Beautiful backdrop views from my window, wonderful weather to boot, & I'm able to walk everywhere within 10-50mins from here that I want to. Check out the FREE thermal park, Kuirau Park!! I give 4 stars as late night room service was 1hr late + cold as they didn't have enough people on.
J.
Attended training here for three days, but I didn't stay here. We used a small conference room, and iced water and mints were constantly on the table and regularly replaced. Morning tea and afternoon tea were tasty, usually with a savoury choice and some fruit. Staff were friendly and attentive to needs.
L.
Rooms are sooo big you can fit in a family of 5-6. It has no aircon but there're fans in rooms. Ypu can open tje windows at night for the cool breeze to enter. Then the room gets cold.
Breakfast food was very good.
Dinner with program was ok.
It would be nice to be booked again in this hotel not because of the above but because of the neighborhood. So peaceful, quiet and safe to jog in the morning.
A.
Very good bed and good breakfast.
Other than that maintenance within the room needs to be reviewed, the "kitchen" had a loose seals on the fridge, loose taps and no micowave. The blinds in the room were falling of the hinges when closing the curtains and the in-room phone was broken- constantly ringing for no reason or beeping loud noises(we ended up pulling it out of the wall).
Avoid getting rooms down near the laundry as its loud.
Other motels will offer better service for a better price. Pay to check around before booking here.
T.
Loved our spacious deluxe room with corner spa. The food and drinks were centrally located so guests could see and move freely to get their breakfast. Some great prices to be had (sub $100) Free carparking is great compared to some, and plently of it to be honest. I think that I will just go and top myself.
N.
Room size was fantastic. I stayed in 319. End of corridor, 2 queen beds and quiet at night. Beside a service elavator which I was told when requesting the room. I was out most of the day when it was used most so was perfect for rest and sleep time in the evenings as it was rarely used then. Rooms are nice especially ones with a balcony but bathroom needs modernising. Spa bath is fantastic as is shower pressure. Also bulb not working told a room attendant who visit my room to fix sky but he seemed non plussed. Tell reception he says. Big negative no wifi over 3 whole days of my entire stay. That is not ideal considering it is advertised as a plus on website. Surely after 3 days this ought have been fixed or maybe the bill paid if that be the case. Staff friendly for the most part.
S.
Nice hotel. Have stayed here multiple times, including last week, and have been happy every time. Don't expect brand new; there is some wear and tear in the rooms, but overall clean, quiet and comfortable (esp the beds). The pool is great and Spa is very hot! We will return again!
T.
The location is good and so is the room size. I was impressed with the cleanliness of rooms. Great venue to host your next business conference. We did not eat in the restaurant it was a quick visit to see family so did not spend a lot of time at the Hotel.
S.
After a few hiccups from reservations and other complaints that we may of had with these guys from a previous stay, they have come to an agreement and meet us halfway. The stay here is comfortable but tired rooms. Time to start thinking about upgrades as there were a lot of bad reviews on trip advisor.
D.
Looks can be deceiving. Looks a lot nice until you get to the room. Lights not working, floor tiles chipped or moldy, the restaurant has lighting similar to something found in a bad nightclub waiting to start, the rooms walls are paper thin and it's easy to hear the music from the bar two floors down. Thankfully that's where the bad ends. The food is reasonably priced and is quite tasty and the staff are incredibly pleasant. Would consider closer to town next time.
H.
This was Ok Rooms very warm and comfortable. What you’d expect for the money. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and very good value for money. Location excellent too.
S.
Over the past few years it seems to keep degrading somewhat. The service, food and presentation is nowhere near what it once was. It is almost like they are trying to run a budget hotel but charging the same rate. This time no concierge to help with luggage upon arrival or departure is quite surprising for a brand hotel. Wifi basically hardly works. Comfortable bedding and a clean room has always been provided but after 5 visits over 2 years notifying front desk upon departure that their showers change from scalding hot to freezing cold, I feel that they just don't want to know.
A.
Loved the large spa room and the service was fantastic. But the room was getting old with an old damaged curtain and stained walls and carpet. Also, we were told the full total price on booking but then charged extra for credit card, yet they insist on a credit card to both book and check in.
s.
Average hotel possibly a bit old now. Rooms can be stuffy with no air con in ours which meant sleeping with the local delicacy(sulphur) wafting into our room at times. Breakfast average. Staff very nice.
C.
Pool out of action! This was why we booked this Hotel! Our family were looking forward to it; there was not mention of the pool being out of action when booking was made. Rydges - you need to note this! Room was great though. Breakfast & dinner - nice, but the Restaurant was SO busy for breakfast they kept running out of everything.
T.
We booked this hotel with the understanding that this hotel chain was of high quality. The location is great as the rooms at the back overlook a race course and you can view the major landmarks of Rotorua. The Beds are really comfortable and I look forward to our next visit.
P.
This is really our favorite place to go with the kids. The rooms are nice and the hotel is clean. We love the indoor heated swimming pool because that means we can go any time of year. The buffet breakfast is well worth it and kids eat free.
T.
The decor in the hallways are tacky. Pm and we are having to change rooms on different levels with no assistance from any staff. We did not eat in the hotel but a peek at the menu suggested the usual expensive hotel prices. A good central location for doing the tourist thing.
T.
went there for a travel expo, but have stayed there ,and one just has to say that the lovely rooms with a good sized bathroom, extra blankets, pillows, plus we asked for a room with a balcony was great. The guest bar, is very well laid out, and we certainly enjoyed our pre dinner drinks.
T.
We assume that this is the best room in the building. For value for money, we later discovered we probably would have had more options for a similar price across the road at popular eating spot. The next day I presented at a Company Conference and the service we received was great.
J.
We've stayed here quite a few times in the past and for our family it has always been a perfect stay but a big part of that was the pool, so to see it was closed was a little disappointing. The food was great and service level of staff exceptional though.
T.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Cleaniness of the room wasn't good, it was very very dusty, there was cobwebs and a film around the bottom of the shower. We didn't dine for breakfast but did have some snacks at the Mezze bar. Only downfall was the expensive breakfast.
J.
Thank you to all the staff that made our experience so positive.
My Son particularly enjoyed the beautiful dinner and the endless breakfast.
He also enjoyed the Gym and pool area.
He also liked the fact that he could fit on the bed.
My Husband is disabled and although the bathroom a bit lacking for him we managed to get things sorted as we always do. So an update would be helpful to disabled travellers.
The beds were comfortable and sheets crisp.
Nothing was too much trouble.
We moved on to Taupo and stayed in the HIlton as this was the only accommodation available there. Well it was just awful from check in to check out. You can read my review on their site.
So well done to you all and if Hilton is 5 Star your are an easy 10...
Kindest Regards
Jodee Redmond-Wager
J.
I think this hotel needs some renovations,
Rooms facilities is getting age, and also breakfast dishes was not cleaned.
I was visit 2 years ago, it getting worse.
The other things is fine.
T.
We visited Rotorua in late January and decided to treat ourselves to a stay in a higher end hotel. Our room service queries were responded to immediately and the restaurant and front of house staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very clean. Spa and to not be able to use it was a rip off.
J.
Awesome family friendly hotel. Our family of 9 adults and 6 children stayed for 3 nights from 09.04.14 to 12.04.14. Spacious clean rooms, great swimming pools for the grandchildren and nummy breakfast every morning. Helpful friendly staff.
Thanks to Daniel, Rebekah and the rest of the Rydges team for making our family stay one to remember. We will be back.
T.
My family and I chose the Rydges as it offered a bit more of an upmarket stay on our end of year trip. Admittedly, the rooms could do with modernising, but this didn't bother us as were so impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of …
J.
We 2 went with our daughter in law and two grandaughters on Fathers' Day. Had a most enjoyable lunch in a very pleasant place. Must go back soon...... enjoyed it too much to. NOT return very soon. Might see YOU there 😅
T.
Location was great. Quite a distance from the main part of Rotorua but very peaceful with plenty of parking available. We had breakfast included in the package and was mildly surprised that it was very good. Would possibly stay here again if I am forced to but would definitely have breakfast elsewhere.
F.
The accommodation part of the Hotel is good and there is good parking. The staff are friendly but we found there are some fundamentals lacking in the sense of up-selling the bar and restaurant upon arrival and the decor of both were very outdated.
We did eat at the restaurant and Ashton was excellent in pointing out what was popular even though the restaurant had run out of many food options as it was the long weekend.
Could be a top Hotel in Rotorua again with some small upgrades - lack of investment was showing.
Thanks,
Davidson Family
N.
Lovely staff. Comfy and clean room. Loved the spa bath. Not far to travel into town. Would definitely come again. Thank you!
M.
Went for a work conference, the rooms were heated a bit too hot and some of the facilities were not working ( Gym & pool ). The restaurant was good and function room also. After a bit of an upgrade this hotel will be very nice.
N.
Comfortable place to stay with great location, being right next to the race course. Amenities are okay. Gym is laughable with 3 gym equipment in a a all room. Other than that it's an okay place to stay.
w.
Huge room. Tidy. Friendly staff. Quiet. The only negitive things I found were a) no microwave in room b) wouldve been nice to have a adjustable shower head (kids) c) no cutlery/plates etc. Other than that a brilliant place to stay. Pool was amazing. Would definately go back to stay again!
T.
Had a little luxury after backpacking and Rydges ticked our boxes. The location was nice located only a 15 minute walk from city centre. Big car park, easy access to town. There are loads of eating places in Tutanekai Street which runs into town and starts about half a mile away from the hotel.
T.
Quiet residential location. The room we chose was a Deluxe King room with a balcony and breakfast package. The service was excellent and all staff went out of their way to help. There are a few things within the room that need updating but it is what is for the price.
T.
Nice big rooms and comfy beds. Decor dated and rooms noisy with extraction fans, noisy plant and plumbing sounds. Excellent inhouse dining. Wifi in common areas but too weak in rooms. Friendly staff.
A.
Great hotel but needs a major refurbishment.
We have been many many times over the years, since it opened, however getting very run down now. So sad.
With a little decoration and broken windows, pool, lights, tiles fixed etc, then should be back.
J.
Nice hotel. Needs to be upgraded. Old and worn out. No air-conditioning in our room so we sweated. Lovely spa bath. Spacious. Lacking quality I'd expect of Rydges.
S.
Got a decent room with 2 queen beds in one room with spa...... No aircon and woke up to the sulphur smell because i had the window open and the fan on full noise just to stay cool.... Should have slept just with the sheet N no doona. My bad, cant be helped. Must must try the special cocktail that won the award so refreshing.
O.
Had a wonderful time at Rotorua Rydges! Only flaw would be no AC. The decor is antique style in rooms, but else where quite modern. The continental breakfast was amazing! We also enjoyed dinner and rm service. The dinner was phenomenal, kudos to the chefs. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and made you feel like family. Would highly recommend the Maori experience, and Hobbiton tour. Rainbow Springs was delightful, as well as the Te pui visit. The only regret would be the limited amount of time spentat the Black Sand Beach.😢
M.
Reasonably priced accommodation. Have stayed there 4 times now over the last 5 years and the place has lost some of the polish it used to have with the pool out of action for our last 2 visits, obvious wear and tear in the accommodation units and fewer Sky TV channels than I recall from earlier visits, but it still shines areas like the restaurant and staff attention and prompt response. The lack of Sky channels was no bother though, because the internet provides all we need today anyway. Another example was when I couldn't sleep, so I trotted off to a quiet corner in the Mezenene bar to read at 4:20am, and shortly afterwards, a staff member arrived and was happy to offer me something from the bar if I so desired. I was tempted, but graciously denied, read till 6:30 then enjoyed a 4-course smorgasboard breakfast for only $27 & didn't need to eat again till the evening meal.
T.
Where should I start, my check-in experience started well after asking for a renovated room which I got. Hotel was very clean. In the end it turned out to be a good stay, no dramas and we would recommend to anyone if they are getting a good deal.
紐.
The dinner is delicious, the steak is beautiful cook, we love it a lot. This one is our regular stay hotel in Rotorua. It’s bit old but it’s really specious room size. Happy stay VH
D.
The hotel is a bit run down, staff are nice, beds are comfortable. We were here in the weekend and the breakfast buffet staff couldn't keep up with the supply of food which was disappointing.
T.
The girl at the front desk was happy to organise a Taxi for us and the availability of brochures are great for people who want to explore Rotorua. The Atrium Restaurant, and Mezz bar are are good idea to relax and unwind after a busy day. I would Highly recommend this to all my friends and family.
A.
Have stayed here a few times but this time was very disappointing. I had book a few weeks in advance as we were going to be staying during school holidays. I always book via the internet and had booked the usual family deluxe spa unit. When we arrived however we were shown to a standard twin room. Bitterly disappointed I questioned this at the front desk and was told I got what I booked. I AM NOT STUPID ! I was well aware of what I book via the internet. Bad start to my family weekend.
Now the evening meal. The adults order while the kids get a free smorgasbord, thank goodness their meal was free, but I was embarrassed for them. The spaghetti Bolognese was like warm rubbery spaghetti minus the Bolognese. When Bolognese was finally added it was a few serving spoons of watery mince splattered on top. Kids veges were fine but overall their meal was disappointing. We ordered extra off the adult menu for them. On previous visits the kids evening meals have been much better.
However their morning breakfasts are absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend.
as this was our or first bad experience here we hope its a one off. If it goes this bad again we will look else where to stay
E.
Average larger hotel in Rotorua. Large rooms with a sink and mini refrigerator. No air conditioning and Wifi is weak at best. Dated and average bathrooms. A good place to try if other locations are booked.
M.
room was comfortable and very large, in room spa was awesome and loved the location. the fittings were quite old however and some staff slightly rude or spoke little english.
T.
Rydges is an older hotel, so the decor outside is tired and inside, apart from painting, it has not been updated for some time. We had selected a room with a spa for a nice relaxation after a long day of driving. I will return when I'm next in Rotorua.
J.
Absolutely incredible service! I was blown away by the attention to detail, friendly service and incredible location. It is so close to everything and has the most beautiful amenities.
M.
A bit run down. I asked the reception to book me a taxi to the airport and they were a little bit reluctant to do it straight away. It is just something basic you do when you work at a hotel! Also the gym didnt work and they do not organize any Tours. You would expect more from rydges
M.
Good hotel. Had a huge room for just the 2 of us. Very friendly staff. Parking is first come so can bit a bit random. Great pick up busses to tours and adventures
G.
Decent place to spend a weekend... Good spacious rooms.. But not much in terms of views though one can see the racecourse behind from some of the rooms.. But since we spent most of our time outdoors while at Rotorua.. It was a good place to relax at the end of the day.. Not sure about the food since we did not dine in during this visit..
k.
Stayed here on long weekend, it was not what we expected according to price, rooms r very old style and no microwave in the kitchen no spoons or forks. Won't be coming again..
D.
Amazing beds, best hotel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast wasn't great tho, cooked stuff wasn't fresh, looked like it was reheated from a few days ago and the pineapple smelt like dirty socks 🤮
M.
Middle class hotel with hot springs pool. Furniture old and a bit worn out. Service could be more polite as well. Overall, good experience, although location a bit out of town requires car.
p.
Spectacular view from our room. We were able to see the sun rise. The restaurant was nice too. However wifi connection was slow.
m.
An older hotel with friendly service. Upgraded us without any issues. Love the meals that came as room service. Thanks guys!
S.
Rooms huge so great to share with another. Food average and they have an issue putting the correct names on the food, so issue if you had allergies.
R.
Real nice big rooms. Staff very nice. Breakfast was great. PLENTY of parking for large vehicle.
G.
Great place to stay. Kids loved it. Spa in the room was wonderful. Great breakfast too. We will be back for sure!!
R.
Hotel was adequate a bit dated however our room was clean. What's with the hotel Restaurant. The service was below par. Won't recommend dining there.
M.
A descent hotel the staff are absolutely wonderful and pleasant especially the housecleaning girls top workers there. Literally walked into my room and went WOW.
D.
Enjoying managed isolation at the Rydges. Going better than expected. Standard of food is pretty high.
E.
WiFi was absolutely atrocious, slow and kept dropping out, didn't work in half the room. Room was ok nice and spacious decor a bit dated.
C.
Great place to stay..comfortable and reasonably priced. Don't ever have a cocktail in the bar..they are the worst..don't know why they push their happy hour
C.
I had the best reception at this hotel. Cannot rank the staff highly enough. They were amazing! Food was awesome too.
T.
The rooms are amazingly spacious. Needs modernising but perfect if your not pretentious
T.
We used to enjoy staying here but they need to fix the pool as it's a major activity for the kids, and they should get Netflix instead of Sky as the channels are limited.
T.
Warm room friendly team. But don't bother with the food. Very expensive and not at all good.
B.
Comfortable and spacious. Nice hotel. Great staff. Good food. Horrible coffee.
M.
Overall reasonable value for money, spacious rooms but very dated, good bed but bathrooms could do with a makeover
J.
Dated or classic? Either way the location is good and the staff were fantasticly pleasant and helpful. Walking the corricors wz a bit like strolling between hospital rooms at an elderly care but that wz only appearances not function.
M.
I'll go back, nice rooms however ringing up for extra bits because we didn't have any or ran out..... We didn't receive it
C.
We had a lovely stay when me and my partner had a weekend away, amazing staff, amazing facilities and seuper delicious all you can eat breakfast menu!
K.
Hotel is a bit tired. Breakfast was average for the price. Comfy enough room but not modern.
G.
On the main road, next to the Arawa Racecourse with easy ride to the town and all the local attractions. Comfortable stop with restaurant convenience. Handy conferencing.
M.
Great value but the place is looking very run down now, just a budget hotel nothing flash. Breakfasts are OK too.
J.
Nothing special here i could hear aircon running all night long and the meals were well below average they are lucky to get a 3rd star.
A.
Room was spacious and clean but very tired. The bathroom needs updating out of the 80s.
h.
Love this place, have staid here lots. good food, good staff and fantastic service!! Only downside is the pool not open otherwise would be 5*
L.
Great place to stay. Great staff, friendly and helpful. If attending Rotorua races and required accommodation, Ridges is place and stay as over looking race course.
s.
Nice large clean room with a view over lake. Interior a little dated. Great breakfast.
B.
Stayed on our wedding night in Deluxe room - Very nice. Buffet breakfast was awesome too
C.
Absolutely lovely here withmany conference spaces available, excellent service staff, good clean accommodation and value for money.
P.
Huge well appointed rooms. Restaurant can be a bit inconsistent. Excellent conference venue
P.
Food very good but no pool and no gym. big rooms, but the rooms are a little tired
R.
Average hotel. Fairly priced, but not great service. We couldn't even get into the back door near the car park half the time.
S.
Was a great stay at this hotel. Just wanted to work out the spa and made my clothes wet. Good service and quality
K.
Decent hotel to stay. Rooms are really spacious, although the hotel itself seems a bit old.
C.
Nice hotel next to the racetrack. WiFi is good but sometimes did not have a strong signal. Bar in hotel.
B.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only downside is there are no trash cans in the lobby during our conference.
J.
Spacious but room dated around 2005, tv is sooo tiny. 24 inch at most
N.
