N.My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. We loved this quiet and cozy hostel.The staff were friendly and informative about the hostel facilities. We stayed in the cabin which was cozy for the two of us.The garden is a sweet place to hangout in. A walking distance into town and the grocery store.
N.Nice small Hostel with a cool vibe, one of the Best Hostel gardens that I have seen in NZ so far. Got a Double Room for the price of a 6 Bed Dorm! Got two fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms are very clean and actually the showers are high enough.
M.Spent my 20th birthday here! Such a nice cozy friendly hostel. Very clean, two kitchens, a lovely courtyard, and hello?! Free bikes?! Such a plus in the beautiful golden bay!
L.Beautiful place, perfect to lay low for a couple days. They offer you free bike usage and coffee. They also have a nice garden area and very good wifi.
M.Great place, wonderful outdoor patio and area with covered and uncovered tables, two kitchens, two full bathrooms, a lounge area, and laundry facilities. Welcoming and sweet hosts! Close to the i site and the grocery store.
K.Very cool private backyard space and great host. Rooms were clean host wish there were more bathrooms for the amount of people. Had to wait for bathroom/shower sometimes
D.Just your average backpackers, full of the usual 18 year old Germans on their phones. The toilets being in the same room as the showers causes problems in the morning when everyone gets up at the same time. Also the bathrooms are badly needing a makeover. This is NZ not Thailand, with the price we pay to stay, we expect the shower doors to shut properly and the shower head not to be broken....

J.Amazing place to stay in social area was always warm the kitchen had a fire by going every evening facilities with standard for the price of the night, was clean and staff were very welcoming most of them woofers so lots to talk about over dinner.

m.(Translated) Dormitory use. It was a 6 person room with 3 bunk beds, but it was a little narrow. I thought it would be difficult to have a large baggage.

愉快なオーナーさんでした。部屋や共有スペースもきれいで、冷蔵庫にも十分なスペースがありました。Wifiも無料。

Von der Straße aus sieht es recht unscheinbar aus. Aber sobald man drin ist ändert sich das schlagartig. Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Alles da was man braucht. Küche, Bad und der Rest alles sauber. Großer schön angelegter Gemeinschaftsgarten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kann sich auch relativ gut auf deutsch verständigen.

It has everything you need, bathroom, refrigerator, two kitchens, free parking and in the rooms there are even power adapters for everyone who has forgotten theirs, as well as a fan and you can borrow a bike and helmet for excursions. There is a small deduction for WLAN, which breaks off permanently and makes surfing quite difficult 😉

Ein sehr schönes kleines Backpacker Hostel. Es hat alles, was man braucht, Badezimmer, Kühlschrank, zwei Küchen, freies Parken und in den Zimmern sind sogar überall Stromadapter für alle, die ihren vergessen haben, sowie ein Ventilator und für Ausflüge kann man sich Fahrrad und Helm ausleihen. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es beim WLAN, welches permanent abbricht und das Surfen doch recht erschwert 😉
