C.Great place to stay especially if you pick the rooms with lake view for some extra bucks. Rooms are tidy and not so dated compared to what i expected from the photos. The two-bedroom is very spacious. Staffs at reception are very friendly. Hassle free check in and check out. Superb location. Very pleasant stay.
T.Great location, fantastic view. The unit is really good, plenty of space, well equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is spacious, decent water pressure in the shower. It's nice having a separate bedroom. Staff are very helpful and friendly 🙂 Would absolutely recommend

A.Apartment is vey clean. Kitchen has everything that you need. The bedroom for our downstairs unit attached to car park, very noisy with cars going all the time. Inconsiderate people talking just outside your bedroom loudly at 1am then again at 7am. Lack of privacy as BBQ area right in front of our unit. People not using assigned parking spots. The Wifi also is poor keeps disconnecting.
K.On arrival greeted by friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy and we were within walking distance to Taupo shopping centre, restaurants cafes and local attractions. We only had one minor issue the parking and trying to manouvre around other vehicles on the corner of your establishment coming down the back of Briscoes. Otherwise ok place to stay.
N.Great location. Ideal for the travelling holiday makers and families. Close to shops and across road from lake. Reasonably priced if you get in quick...🙂

G.This resort is fabulous. I recommend it for a friendly and relaxing stay. Although on the main road on the lakefront, you do not hear any traffic noise. Sit and enjoy the balcony and view of the lake. Pleasant staff. Very friendly. Unit was very clean and comfortable.
A.We have stayed here for one week last year and one week this year. Timeshare units have fully equipped kitchens enabling families to prepare cost effective meals and have affordable holidays. Units are fully air-conditioned and comfortably furnished. Management and staff are very helpful.
j.Excellent location, walking distance to shopping, cafes & restaurants etc. Nicely appointed rooms that were clean & spacious. Great little indoor heated pool with spa & hot tub. Nice friendly managers with a very good reception area providing local information on tours & tourist attractions. Located right next to Mini Putt Putt and across the road from Hole in One Golf. Only negative was the small carpark for our unit meant our ute was too big & we had to park out on the street. We weren't very happy about that.
M.It's in the best location for the lake and the cafes and shops are within an easy walking distance. The units are lovely and clean and perfect for what we wanted. We had the one bedroom unit as there was only 2 of us. The overall outside look just doesn't do it justice. It is a lovely place to stay and all self contained with everything you need. We have stayed there twice and will stay there again next time.
L.What can I say. I have been going there for 14 years and have loved every minute of it. My Grandparents and Mum have been going there for 30+ years and still aren't sick of it. It has beautiful views of sunsets at night and amazing views of the mountains during the day (if the weather complies). It is located in a prime location as it is only a 5 minute stroll to the center of town. The facilities are very good and well maintained. The units are very clean and tidy and the beds and couches are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and constantly keep the mint bowl full =)
M.Nice size condo unit in a quiet neighborhood across from the lakefront. We had a two bed, two bath unit: one had a teeny tiny en suite and the other had a giant bathroom that opened to the living room. Full kitchen, decently equipped. Also has a sofa bed. TV in living room and master bedroom. Ours had a covered patio and table seating.

S.Great spot walking distance to shopping centre, bars cafes etc. A little dated in some areas, but great kitchen and bathrooms, clean warm and quiet. Laundry room with free washers and pay to use dryers, airing racks available. Smoke free even vapes. Games room with pool and table tennis. Nice heated pool, spa and plunge pool. Enjoyed our weeks stay.

L.Nice contemporary cabins, well kept grounds. Parking is a bit of a squeeze but managable. Service is very good, with a nice lounge open most times of day. Good value for money IF you make sure you use the timeshare regularly.
M.Stayed for a week in the school holidays, thoughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is very well set up with spa pools and heated pool for the kids to enjoy. Location of the resort is excellent, close to the shops and cafes. A big thanks to all the staff who went out of there way to make our stay memorable.... Thanks Ika Nui we'll be back...☺☺☺
n.At our recent stay at this resort we found it to be most hospitable and comfortable, well maintained and the unit we stayed in was very clean and tidy. The staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the local area and activities.
The resort is handy to local restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the shopping centre.
We recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable timeshare holiday. A very well run resort.
V.I had a lovely time at Taupo Ika Nui. It is really well managed, everything runs like clockwork and nothing seemed to be a problem with the staff. Even the cleaning staff appeared to be happy! It is close to town and close to the lake. Perfect! The only thing that was disappointing was no Happy hour any more. I thought that the sound-proofing was good. The units were very clean and well equipped.

t.Classic style for retired couple, face to the lake, comfortable bed, all you need to bring with you is your luggage and food. They offer fully furnished kitchen. Perhaps family would enjoy the stay too
R.We enjoyed our stay. We had a couple of bbq on the resort's bbq. Had lots of swims in the hot pools. With the resort so close to the town it was good to be able to walk to the shops. Very comfortable unit with a comfortable bed.
G.My husband and I visit Taupo almost every year and have stayed at TIN on many occasions. Every time we have stayed, the management have been very hospitable and caring about our time in Taupo. This year we took my elderly mother who has never been before . she had a wonderful time in the pool and spa area .As we were not always around during the day, I was assured that should she need anything , staff would meet her needs should the occassion arise. We were booked into a ground floor unit for ease of access ,which also had been newly renovated.The rooms at TIN are small but the standard is high and even with 6 suitcases, thanks to Air New Zealand, we were able to put them in storage cupboards with a little reshuffling , there was ample room for our relaxation.We have already put in our request for 2014 to stay again.

T.Great timeshare resort, we have just return from spending two weeks at Taupo Ika Nui. This was the first time in the North Island of New Zealand and Taupo is a great location, very central to all tourist spots, 1.5 hours to the Hawkes Bay, 1 hours to Rotorua and 1.5 hours to the mountains plus Taupo itself has a huge number of attractions - Huka Falls was great, Craters of the Moon, Lake Cruises etc etc etc. Taupo Ika Nui is 500m from the middle of town making it very easy to walk in each day for a coffee, we had an upstairs unit at Ika Nui with great views of Lake Taupo and the Mountains, while at Ika Nui, Taupo had a good dumping of snow, first time in a number of years I believe. Our unit was very well appointed with everything we needed and very very clean, plus we had a service after the first week and we were very pleased to be able to change our towels midweek (nice touch guys), lover the heated pool. Thanks Loretta, Paske and Dave for looking after us - we would love to come back someday.
J.I like it because it is very clean and the entertainment room was very fun and one of the staff named Loretta is always very kind to us whenever we come and she helps us with whatever we need help with.
