R. B.The facilities could use a little refresh but are spacious for a family of four (including teenagers). All clean and tidy. We didn’t manage to book a room with a private pool but the swimming pool was a pleasant surprise (and heated!). Location is great but traffic can be noisy at times. What really makes this place stand out is the staff - everyone we encountered was always smiling, professional, cheerful and willing to help! Perfect for a last minute booking - we will be back.
D. B.Furniture is pretty much used and old, doesn't look nice, really needs update. But place was clean and spacefull, for up to 6 people, good choice for family. Private hot pool with clean thermal water worth the price for accomodation. No lounge suite was here for watching TV, single bed instead of it, what is not comfortable. Hotel is situated on main road.
D. W.My son, his wife and I, oops and can't forget Kora the dog injoyed our stay, cooked a feed, sat and watched tv,went upstairs for a spar then had an awesome shower, needed a lock on shower room door, bed was abit hard on the back but overall we injoyed the stay and service.
J.Nice, tidy, quiet place. Only real gripe is the entry from the main road. As it's almost right on the corner of a very busy section of road, you need to take caution entering and exiting the site. Besides that, very nice place

E. J.Great location, just hard to exit during peak times. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were mostly clean, even if they were rather dated, but the upstairs absolutely cooked, the heatpump should be at the top, not at the bottom of the stairs, it did nothing to affect the upstairs heat. The fan did nothing to help either.

H. W.Stayed in 2 separate rooms over 4 nights. Customer service is excellent 5*. They go out their way to make your stay as convenient as possible.. However, the interior layout of the rooms is quite awkward e.g the beds are facing the bath-tub so there's no privacy, the hot-pool was out of order. The location is on the corner of a very busy road so be very careful driving in or out...I'd recommend for overnight visits...4 stars..
G. R.I booked the room for four. Our room was very spacious with a kitchen you can cook a meal in. Upstairs has 3 single beds and a spa bath. Downstairs a big double bed table and chairs and a couple of loungers. My mum dad and nanny had room for 3. It came with a spa pool. How cool is that! And spacious. So if your after value for money in a good location. Look out for Bennett's.

PROS - owner was super nice. Even brought out a speaker to play some music for the ones in the pool. Followed through with all requests. Cleaners/staff were super nice. Towels replenished every day. We used a lot for showers, spa bath and pool. Free wifi. On sight parking. Sky TV. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hot chocolate provided as well as kitchen utilities and utensils.
CONS - it is a little old and could do with a face lift. Right next to a very busy road. A little mold in bathroom. Had to ask for coffee to be replenished.
Over all, I would stay there again.

D. L. G.We made a booking at short notice for 3 adults to attend a funeral. The price and location were good. The Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the unit was clean and comfortable. The older style facilities were what we expected at this price. The handbasin , toilet and shower were very compact, but the shower was lovely and hot.

We booked in for a last minute reservation, and because there were no private rooms available they offered myself, my partner and our fur baby a family unit. Nice and spacious, we enjoyed our stay. We had a spa bath in our unit, but the jetty button was stuck and wasn’t able to operate. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
M. N.We had a wonderful stay as a couple with a dog. The accommodation was spacious and clean, clearly effort is being made to modernise/upgrade. While on a busy road, the place is nice and quiet and the private hot pools with every room are a big hit! Constantly replenishing stream of mineral water means the pools are very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the staff friendly. Our dog felt at home straightaway too. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meal prep with an electric frying pan, microwave and kettle. Supermarket and takeaways are a 1 minute drive away around the block. Beach is just across the road. Great place, highly recommended!

T. M.Location was good, little noisy at night but not to much. Myself and my partner had the family room with the spa. Spa was amazing. Enjoyed late night swims. Very clean and warm
J. S.Bit dated but very clean and we felt welcomed. The private spa was a godsend after long days at Armageddon expo and it was nice and quiet overnight.
Check in and check out service was quick and simple, no hidden charges.
Will happily stay again, if the mattresses were replaced it would be 5 star.
T. C.Very basic motel room with the exception being the private little inground hot pool just outside the bedroom sliding door.
Not so good for a sneaky late night dip though as the auto fill system made some very loud sucking, gurgling noises every time I stood up which caused the water level to drop! That's my excuse anyway

It is a bit dated but that doesn't worry us, friendly staff, easy check in and oh my god the private natural thermal spa was absolutely amazing, we lived in it, I cant believe there aren't more compliments on the private spa!!
Will absolutely stay here again.
M. T.June 2018 Absolutely wonderful hosts and staff. I found management & reception very polite and helpful. However the rooms are dated and need refurbishing. Fixtures need replacing and to be better maintained. Very clean and tidy, love the little private geothermal pools. Would return just for the wee pools:)
C. K.Generally all round good service if it weren't for the courtesy displayed from the day staff, thermals were a let down as they were not operating including the main motel communal guests pool was not heated. Ideal summer stay.
T. G.Very nice stay, pleasant welcome and surprisingly quiet considering its next to a main road. Car parking is great plenty room to turn vehicles around. The only concern was some of the power sockets were loose. I would stay here again.🙂🙂🙂

P. S.Excellent. Can't complain as it was very clean and tidy and the hot pool at the back of the room was just so good to sit in late at night. The staff and front desk were very helpful and very friendly. ( liked the little milk bottles by the way,,ha). I think this is value for money and would be a great stay if you also had children.

T. K.We like it here because of the private heated pools. Rooms are fine. Everything you need for a night or two. Parking ok. Motel needs a revamp as everything including the hot pools is looking very dated and tired.

J. S.Even I am late to write review about how our first settlement in Tauranga came to pass, I thanks to Bennett, how you guys have helped us by guiding us. It was not only business deal for them but it was in general very gentle help to me and my family for their guide to put our-self in better place in Tauranga in those three days of our stay in Bennett's with my wife and three children. It could never be second stay if we were not happy with first one night stay in this family friendly and reasonable motel in Tauranga. Manager of Inn is just very service oriented person, their hospitality is very good, 10 out of 10. Sorry to say, my children just mess the room like anything but their every day room cleaning service bring it back to normal to enjoy our further stay.
We had family unit, me and my wife just enjoyed the spa in our room, not to describe about hot swimming pool, children just loved it. We recommend just for all kind of people, whether family with children or just couple. It is good to spend atleast night.
We will be back just to have some good time again. Thanks

V. Š.Decent location, easy public transport to tauranga city centre. Room was clean, hot tub was way too hot to enjoy while its +20 outside. Should have stayed later in the winter I guess. All in all, decent place for reasonable amount of money. Would visit again!
S. M.Could do with a bit of a tidy up in the private pool patios, green and slimy is not inviting. Along with the high ceilings in the rooms being cleaned from cobwebs would be an idea too, all in all a reasonable place to stay for those on a budget. We would stay again if needed for a short period of time.
E. K.Private mineral pool, dare I say more? Get naked, or don't, the choice is yours, beds comfy, better when shared with a lover or two, if your so inclined. Reception staff are friendly and the shared pool was a perfect temperature on the day.

k.The rooms are in dire need of some tlc. The beds are extremely firm. The pool and hot tubs were nice and the kids really enjoyed them.

K. T. P.Loved Bennett's motel, the only bad thing about it is, it's a total death trap getting in and out of the place. Something needs to be done about the entrance way into to the place ASAP. It's only a matter of time before someone gets killed. Other than that, I loved everything about it.

M.Clean tidy bit weird having the bath upsairs in the room it self so couldnt try just in case i wrecked the carpet no ventilation in the downstairs bathroom so floor became very wet and slippery had to put clothe on the toilet seat so they stayed relatively dry the best thing i loved was no noise from the road very quiet
